Even though Justin sadly missed the NY Black Snake Moan premiere, the show had to go on. The stars of the film, Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson, dressed in drastically different levels of formal wear, but that just seems to be Sam's MO these days.

Black Snake Moan premiered at Sundance this week and while JT may not be the lead in the film he continues to promote it with all his heart. We've already told you about how weird this film sounds where Samuel L Jackson plays a washed up musician who makes it his duty to cure the town tramp (Christina Ricci) of her slutty ways. Maybe it all looked great on paper, but this is one of those movies we can't believe ever even got the greenlight.

Christina Ricci, Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Timberlake are all at Sundance to promote Black Snake Moan, or, as I like to call it, The Weirdest Freaking Movie of All Time, For Real, Watch The Trailer and Then Get Back to Me On Whether It Makes Sense/What Genre It Even Is (yeah, my name for it is a mouthful, let's just stick with the real title). While the film may confuse, befuddle and bewilder me a little bit, the stars all look pretty great in the portrait studio.

Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.

Ms Ricci graces the cover of W this month with a headline about being in one of the year's most controversial films. They are talking about a movie which co-stars Samuel L Jackson and no, I don't mean Snakes on a Plane. Ricci and Jackson star in Black Snake Moan, the Craig Brewer (Hustle and Flow) film about "sex, music, and redemption."

Christina was rocking a very severe new do at the launch of the Samsonite Black Label Fashionaire Collection in New York last night. She must have been more excited than she looks, though, as she just signed on to be the new face of the swanky luggage brand. We know she takes amazing pictures, so we can't wait to see what she looks like in the ads.

Christina Ricci showed off her signature sultriness in the latest UK edition of Esquire. In the article, she talks about how she's made a career being a bad girl, especially in her past few movies including Black Snake Moan and Prozac Nation. Apparently life imitates art for Christina, who recently admitted that she's not so innocent off-screen either.

Christina Ricci and Adam Goldberg got a little shopping done in Hollywood last night. The two may have broken up and sold their house last year, but they're back together, living around the corner from each other and look happier than ever. Christina says in June's issue of Tatler that she's at a point in her life where she's ready to settle down.

Justin Timberlake stopped at the Four Seasons in LA yesterday for the first of many Shrek 3 related press events. As we saw during his Kids' Choice hosting gig, JT obviously still appeals to the kids, but he's also taking on more mature roles these days. Being a super star sex symbol isn't always easy, though.

Christina rocked some suuuuuper high heels out in the LA sun this week (seriously, those Olsens have nothing on her) and, gotta say, she looked damn fine doing it. Her movie Black Snake Moan comes out this weekend, and though it has gotten bizarrely decent reviews (we hear it's also pretty boring), I'm not sure I could watch it without giggling the whole time. Hey, I never said I was mature.
