Fergie's Diet Weakness Is Fast Food - What's Yours?

Fergie makes her third appearance on the cover of Allure, this time for its July 2011 issue. Inside she puts to rest all those pregnancy rumors and says:

"I think people think that I’m pregnant sometimes because my weight fluctuates . . . My problem is my discipline. I see a Jack in the Box or a Del Taco, and I will impulsively want it. I’m a work in progress in that area."

For anyone that strives to eat whole, healthy foods, Fergie's weakness for fast food is probably understandable. I'm not much of a fast food junkie, but cocktails and cake are definitely my weakness - especially when served together!

The Black Eyed Peas' Geeky Stage Costume Evolution

Though you may not recognize it at first, truth is, the Black Eyed Peas are pretty geeky. Their live shows are packed with geek and tech culture references - from a real-life Tron lightcycle, to DJing in a very Iron Man-like suit - and front man, Will.i.am, even has his own digital media company. His first release is the BEP360 app, which lets users get a full 360-degree view of the Peas in one of their music videos.

And while you can interact with the group on stage via BBM at one of their live shows, their costumes are something any geek would be proud to wear. Check out their techy style evolution in this slideshow!

The Show Couldn't Go On For Taylor Swift and Fergie in Central Park

Taylor Swift joined Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas yesterday for what was supposed to be an all-star concert in NYC's Central Park. The artists arrived ready to rock out on behalf of the Robin Hood Foundation, an antipoverty organization, but rain and lightning forced the show's cancellation before Taylor and the Black Eyed Peas could even take the stage. The Black Eyed Peas made the best of the situation and put on a mini-performance backstage with LL Cool J and Natasha Bedingfield. Hayden Panettiere and Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez managed to sneak in, though just as friends since she's reportedly dating his teammate Scotty McKnight. Taylor tweeted her disappointment, writing, "I was like 'I get to sing with Fergie in NYC?!' and then there was rain and lightning, and they're like 'it's cancelled' and I was like [sad face]." Despite her frustration over the weather, the week wasn't a total downer for Taylor as she took home the video of the year honor at Wednesday's CMT Awards. Taylor wasn't able to accept the accolade in person, but she did pretape a Thelma and Louise spoof with Shania Twain for the broadcast.

Fergie is no stranger to geeky stage costumes, so I wasn't all that surprised to see her wearing a light dress at last night's Billboard Music Awards.

The "new" little black dress, which was designed by Philips and B. Akerlund, used light-infused, curve-hugging fabric to light up with the beat of the music. Of course, Fergie wasn't the only one outfitted in light - Will.i.Am wore a crazy pink plastic helmet, which you can see (along with more pics of Fergie's dress) in the slideshow!

He was tweeting from an AT&T BlackBerry; perhaps it's time to make the switch? Someone get this guy a Verizon iPhone . . . stat!

Between the winner speeches, the American Music Awards served up plenty of performances from some of the hottest acts in music right now. Rihanna opened up the night with a medley of her new hits, but she was only the first in a long line of musicians to take the stage.

The boys' choir in Katy Perry's "Firework" totally gave me goosebumps, Taylor Swift's "Back to December" was subdued but powerful, and yes, I loved seeing the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block together. There were too many artists to name here, but some performances were definitely more exciting than others. I've included several of my picks below - tell me which was your favorite?

Shakira and Alicia Keys Get Hit With World Cup Fever

If you still haven't been struck by World Cup fever, just check out how excited Shakira and Alicia Keys are to be at the opening game between South Africa and Mexico. Shakira's been live tweeting from the games, and so has will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, and John Legend too. I love seeing their pics!

Between the World Cup and NBA Finals, many of us will be spending a good amount of time inside this weekend. And since it's super easy to overindulge while watching TV, keep a batch of healthy snacks on hand like kale chips and polenta pizza instead of the usual game-watching fare. Also, see if there is anywhere near your home hosting a public viewing of the games and make a point to walk or bike there. Besides, nothing beats watching a game with a big group of people!
