Ashlee Simpson held tight to Bronx as she and Pete Wentz shopped at a comic book store in LA today. Ashlee is home from NY, where she started her rehearsals for Chicago on Broadway. She's just in time for Bronx to turn 1 today, and she declared her time as a mom the best year of her life. Sister Jessica was also in town continuing her workout routine to keep her hot body in shape, before twittering happy birthday to her nephew.

Ashlee, Pete, and Bronx Keep Trucking Along

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson brought Bronx along yesterday for a family trip to a CVS in LA. Bronx looked excited to get home and play with his new toy truck, which Pete handled as the trio made their way to the car. Ashlee coordinated her all-black outfit with her new dark hair, which she's free to alter now that she's off Melrose Place - though we're going to see a whole lot more of her in some saucy scenes still to air this season. There are whispers that Ashlee might be Broadway bound to reprise her role in Chicago, but for now she and Pete are all about fun California times with Bronx.

Ashlee and Pete Make Bronx King For a Day in Disneyland

Ashlee and Pete have lots going on these days, as they start looking for a new family-friendly home and Ashlee wraps up her stint on Melrose Place. Despite their hectic schedules, the duo is always up for special outings with their little guy.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took Bronx for a shopping trip in LA on Saturday, while on Sunday Ashlee was all business on her way into a photo shoot. The trio was back together in California after a month of travels, including a short Fall Out Boy tour and Ashlee's poolside birthday in Vegas. Pete is already off again, as he'll be moderating a panel on video games and music in NYC tonight. Pete and Ashlee have packed schedules, but he is also looking towards the future and expanding their family in a major way when they find time to make it work.

Ashlee Temporarily Trades Melrose Place For the Tour Bus

Bronx Wentz grabbed a few straws yesterday during a visit to a Starbucks in LA with Ashlee Simpson. She picked up a coffee, which seems like a necessary accessory for the busy working mom. The CW ordered six more episodes of Melrose Place, but the lackluster ratings might be a little worrisome, especially since the network showed no mercy canceling The Beautiful Life after two weeks. The return of Heather Locklear should supposedly liven things up and Ashlee's character is certainly doing her part to keep things scandalous. First up, though, will be a short stint with Fall Out Boy - her husband Pete just Twittered his excitement about Ashlee and Bronx's joining him on the road tomorrow.

Ashlee Goes From Her Place to PETCO With Pete and Bronx

The Simpson-Wentz clan was smiling big as they swung by a PETCO in LA yesterday. It's been a rough week for the furry friends of the Simpson family after Jessica's Daisy was snatched by a coyote and remains missing despite her efforts to contact all her neighbors. Ashlee has other reasons to look so happy, especially considering all the support she's getting from loved ones about her role on Melrose Place. The show is turning out to be scandalous, as the stars get romantically entangled and play with the hottest tech toys around.

Ashlee Carries Bronx and Jessica's Daisy Gets Snatched Away!

Ashlee Simpson and baby Bronx paid a visit to some friends in LA on Saturday before Ashlee hit the red carpet at a CW Fall TV Preview party in LA last night. There's a new episode of Melrose Place tonight - check out Buzz's interview with Ashlee's co-star Jessica Lucas. Ashlee is back home with her son after her whirlwind NYC press tour, but she may need to lend some support to her sister Jessica soon. Jess twittered last night about watching her pup Daisy get snatched up by a coyote, and after the dramatic year that Jess has had so far, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a miraculous safe return.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz brought Bronx to the park in LA yesterday. The 10-month-old looks like he's getting ready to stand on his own, but at this point he still needs a little help to keep his balance. Ashlee's new show Melrose Place premiered this week and we're ready to tune in for some more of the campy fun. The show's ratings were ultimately a little lackluster, but perhaps it will gain momentum with its scandalous story lines and cute fashion as the season gets going.

The new Melrose Place premieres tonight, and we'll finally get to see Ashlee Simpson take on her new role as not-so-innocent Violet. Back when the show was announced, you were not too excited about the remake, but Buzz is getting us pumped up for the first episode. These days we see more of Ashlee as mom and wife - how cute are Pete and Bronx playing over the weekend? - but tonight she's back on the small screen. Jessica's Slipups and Smiles Don't Stop

Jessica Simpson looked like she had a good time at dinner with her sister Ashlee and Ken Paves at Katsuya in LA on Saturday night - shop her look here. On her way out of the restaurant, the paparazzi asked about her "Indian giver" comment last week and she joked she's an Indian herself. Yesterday she ran into even more trouble with the English language as she laughed off her own confusion with words. Jessica's been keeping her head high in the wake of her breakup with Tony and all the nasty stories that have come out about him, but she still has the support and sympathy of her fans if she ever needs a pick-me-up.
