Brothers & Sisters Coming to Your Living Room

Last night the cast of ABC's Brothers and Sisters came out to promote the DVD release of Season 1. You still have time to catch up on the show since the new season doesn't begin until September 30th. Balthazar Getty mixed with a little Rob Lowe (who is looking a bit wee orange) and the cute Dave Annable makes for some easy on the eyes entertainment. While the men are fun to watch it's the talented ladies that keep us coming back. Sally, Calista and Rachel Griffiths are such a pleasure to watch working together. EW had a chance to talk to Sally and Rachel about how the show limits what they can do on film but apparently these ladies don't seem to care. They said:

Rachel: "I don't give a f***! I'm like, You know what? I've just work the hardest year of my life. I have 2 kids under 3. I don't want to read a script. I don't even want to think that being on a hit TV show is not enough. I'm playing a role that I get to explore every part of me: myself as a mother, as a sister, as a daughter, as a working woman. There's no part of me that's not getting exercised."
Sally: "I don't give a f***! [Laughs] You know, the truth of the matter is we have so little time off. I feel the same way, "Please, God, don't let anything come my way!" We worked last year 10 months straight...I think television right now is exploring more relationships and people things than film is. I don't really have a desire to stand there and not be acting."

Many TV actors would never dream of putting that out there in the press. B&S includes such a great ensemble cast with such compelling writing we can see why the characters are fulfilling enough.

Calista Puts Indiana Jones Rumors to Rest

Calista spent the night with her Brothers and Sisters co-stars at PaleyFest, which celebrates television's greatest programming. While she is back on a hit small screen show, many are wondering if she will join her long-time boyfriend Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 4 as his love-interest. Apparently the answer is no but Calista broke the news in a humorous manner. "It's not true. He’s way too old for me," she said. Luckily they can all laugh about it!

What's Your Favorite New Show?

Now that we are deep into the fall season, it's time to find out what you are watching. We are crazy about Heroes, Bathazar Getty from Brothers and Sisters and Ms Betty. We have already added them to our season pass. We know what the Nielsen ratings say, but what do you think? What's your new favorite show?

Fall TV Preview: Brothers & Sisters

The highly anticipated drama, Brothers & Sisters premieres Sunday September 24th at 10/9c on ABC. The all-star cast aside for a moment, the real reason for all of the anticipation may be because of the real-life drama surrounding the show since the pilot was first shown to advertisers last May. The drama includes the firing of actress Betty Buckley who was originally cast as the matriarch of the Walker family and replacing her with television and movie veteran, Sally Field. This casting change as well as some other major plot changes necessitated re-filming almost the entire pilot this summer.

All the drama aside, the show, which tells the story of adult siblings living their respective lives in the shadow of their seemingly perfect parents, has an intriguing and original premise. This premise paired with the phenomenal cast makes it hard to imagine this show will fail. Notable cast members include Calista Flockhart in her first series since Ally McBeal as conservative talk show host, Kitty Walker. Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) plays Sarah Walker, the high-powered executive who has just begun to work for the Walker Family business. Hottie Balthazar Getty (Alias) plays the younger brother who is being overshadowed by his older sister at work. Ron Rifkin (Alias) plays Saul Holden, Nora Holden's brother who is also a partner in the family business. And finally, Tom Skerritt plays William Walker the patriarch of the family, who as it turns out may not be as perfect as he would have his children believe.

The pilot we saw was the original and we enjoyed it very much. If the re-shot version is even better, we think this show definitely has staying power. The real question is, can we have two favorite shows with skinny whiny blonds and right now Grey's is #1 there.

Gisele and Jack Share Their Fall Fun

Gisele Bundchen brought her stepson Jack out for an afternoon at a Boston park on Saturday. The duo enjoyed a picturesque Fall day together, as Jack explored the swings and jungle gym under Gisele's watchful eye. It looked like a warm day for November, but Gisele still kept her growing baby bump under wraps with her big sweater. She's stylishly entering the last few months of her first pregnancy, and Jack can look forward to showing his little brother or sister the ropes at the playground this time next year.

Matthew and Big Baby Bump-ed Camila Stay Active

Matthew McConaughey stopped by the gym again yesterday, while super pregnant Camila stepped out to run some errands on her own. She looks like she's getting ready to pop, though is still super mobile from her bikini time just a couple months ago to organizing Matthew's 40th birthday party last week. Their little character Levi has been making quite an impression lately with his fashion sense and facial expressions, but soon all his pets won't be his only playmates when his new baby sister or brother arrives.

Heidi Klum and Seal Welcome Baby Daughter Lou!

Heidi Klum's reps confirm that she gave birth to a baby girl on Friday and they named her Lou Samuel! Lou joins big brothers Johan and Henry as well as sister Leni. Heidi recently started the process of legally changing her name to Samuel as well. Heidi has been out and about throughout her pregnancy so we've been watching her baby bump the whole time. Over the weekend her adorable kids checked out the pumpkin patch while mom and dad were taking care of the new addition. We're so excited for one of our favorite families in Hollywood. Congrats to Heidi, Seal and their growing family!

Matthew and Levi McConaughey Are Two Quirky Guys

Matthew McConaughey walked around Malibu barefoot with a parakeet perched on his shoulder yesterday. Meanwhile, Levi looked adorably befuddled playing with the gardener on Tuesday already taking after his dad in the individuality and style departments. Camila must be getting into the last few months of her pregnancy after baring her bikini baby bump in September and whether Levi has a brother or sister to play with, the newest addition will be old enough for the beach by the time next Summer rolls around.

Heidi Keeps It Confidential While Seal Does Daddy Karate Duty

Heidi Klum bared her baby bump last night at a bash celebrating her latest cover of LA Confidential. She was was decked out in black, though pal Debra Messing joined the fun on the red carpet in white. Meanwhile, it was Seal's turn to bring Henry, Leni, and Johan to their martial arts class. Usually Heidi's the one taking the kids to and from karate, but Seal looked happy to take over. Soon Leni will have a sister to play with, but she's right alongside her two brothers for all their playtime now. Heidi was also back on Project Runway last night with guest judge Eva Longoria - do you think the right designer went home?

Victoria Brings Her Heels and Bikini to the Pages of Elle

Victoria Beckham struck a pose on a diving board for the subscriber's cover of October's Elle. We already got a peek at the newsstand version, and now there are even snaps of Posh from inside the issue. She sat down for an interview to discuss being apart from David while he played in Milan, as well as life in America and their boys. Here's more:

On life in America: "You know, I love America. It’s such a positive country. When people say to me, 'How long did it take for you to adjust? Poor you, it must’ve been really difficult' – poor me? I’m living in Beverly Hills. I’m very, very lucky. I wake up every morning and I recognize that I’m blessed."
On being apart from David while he was in Milan: "I felt like someone had chopped my arm off, to be completely honest. Everything we do, we do together. I very rarely go out on my own, unless it’s a work commitment.
On their private family life: "David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to let someone film them at home. I don’t do ‘at homes’ with my family. I don’t march my kids down red carpets. It’s just not how we choose to do things."
