Natalie, Tobey, and Amanda Bring Family to See Brothers

Natalie Portman in brilliant blue stole the spotlight last night at a screening of Brothers in NYC. One of her two leading men, Tobey Maguire, joined her on the red carpet along with his wife Jennifer Meyer, though Jake Gyllenhaal missed the event. Amanda Peet was right by her husband David Benioff's side, supporting his latest screenwriting effort. Natalie was caught up in New Moon mania last week, but yesterday was all about her own upcoming project - check out the moving trailer before its release on December 4.

Jake Gyllenhaal's Birthday Work Day

Jake Gyllenhaal had his twenty-seventh birthday on Wednesday (happy belated!) but his celebration doesn't look quite as much fun as Brad Pitt's was the day before. Instead, Jakey G was hard at work on the set of his new movie Brothers in New Mexico. We're hoping that he'll have a few more loved ones by his side for the holidays next week - whether it be with his sister in NYC or his girlfriend in LA or maybe as one big happy family with both. Hopefully this year won't be as scary as last year when his family was caught in a fire.

Natalie Talks Philanthropy & Gets Hot New Co-Stars

Natalie Portman looked adorable in her LBD giving a talk at Stanford in Palo Alto yesterday. She had a huge grin on her face, but the subject matter was definitely serious -she talked to the students about global poverty and her Village Banking Campaign, which she launched back in May. We bet lots of students came out to see Natalie, and hopefully they also learned something about doing good in the process.

We love that Natalie keeps a good balance between philanthropy and acting, so we're excited that she signed on for another movie. Next up is Brothers with Tobey Magurie and Jakey G. Sounds like an awesome cast and of course since Natalie and Jakey G are old friends who may or may not have dated - we're expecting more rumors to surface once they start shooting.

Carey Skips a Night With Her Brothers to Be With Shia

Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan were at work on Money Never Sleeps in NYC over the weekend. This time they didn't show off any cute PDA on set, but the two are still going strong. Carey is becoming quite the hot commodity these days - she has multiple projects in the pipeline, but her busy schedule kept her away from Sunday night's premiere of Brothers.

Gisele and Jack Share Their Fall Fun

Gisele Bundchen brought her stepson Jack out for an afternoon at a Boston park on Saturday. The duo enjoyed a picturesque Fall day together, as Jack explored the swings and jungle gym under Gisele's watchful eye. It looked like a warm day for November, but Gisele still kept her growing baby bump under wraps with her big sweater. She's stylishly entering the last few months of her first pregnancy, and Jack can look forward to showing his little brother or sister the ropes at the playground this time next year.

Stars Sparkle, Burn and Sing at the American Music Awards

The stars of last night's American Music Awards hit the red carpet before heading inside LA's Nokia Theatre for the main event. Janet Jackson kicked things off with an energetic eight minute performance, and the evening's first award then went to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas went on to take the stage to do "Boom Boom Pow" with a special Nirvana twist. The show went on with performances from Carrie Underwood and Shakira, as well as from Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with "Empire State of Mind." Unfortunately not everyone stayed on their feet - both Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert took tumbles while singing.

There were other memorable performances, from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and not to mention Whitney Houston's return to the stage before she received the International Award of Excellence. Jennifer Lopez had a beaming Marc Anthony in the crowd as she debuted her new single and showed off those customized Louboutins. Michael Jackson won multiple awards, and his brother Jermaine took the stage to accept the award on behalf of their family. Taylor Swift took home the most statues, though she wasn't there and the upset of the night might have to go to Gloriana who won breakthrough artist - make sure to check out the full list of winners. Kate Hudson joined her Nine costars Fergie and Nicole Kidman, though Kate did have a chance to share a special moment with Alex Rodriguez. Stars of the music world hit the red carpet and the stage at tonight's MTV EMAs held in Berlin, Germany. The ladies were decked out in black and cream, with Beyonce and Katy Perry standing out in their long gowns. Bar Refaeli looked gorgeous as usual, but the dress was a bit of a departure from her usual style. The guys were the one with the stand out makeup trend of the night - guyliner - though the Jonas Brothers weren't feeling the need to participate. Inside, Jay-Z performed and looked adorable posing with his wife backstage while Brody Jenner smiled with Miranda Cosgrove. She also stepped out in a sexy red costume and was the biggest winner of the night taking home three awards! Lady Gaga, U2 and Jay-Z were also among the artists who will be packing up their statues for the flight home. Katy Perry had a handful of costume changes, but her man Russell Brand wasn't there to give her a hand with that - check out all the big performances here.

Adrien and Rachel Pose Without Their Bloom Brother

Adrien Brody took his new, streaked hairstyle to the red carpet for a screening of The Brothers Bloom in NYC last night. His costar Rachel Weisz kept him company, while his onscreen brother Mark Ruffalo skipped the event. Jonas Brothers Get 3D in LA, What Do You Want to Ask Them?

The Jonas Brothers mixed things up with their choice in suits for last night's premiere of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience in LA. There's something endearing about Nick's old school baby blue while Joe went modern and Kevin stayed classic. They were joined by their former tourmate Demi Lovato who fit right in with the boys. It's a big week ahead for the musical superstar brothers including a jet-setting tour this weekend, one leg of which we'll be joining them for.
