Busy Gets Back to Business With Courteney and the Cougar Town Cast

The women of Cougar Town were decked out to film a big scene for their season finale in LA yesterday. It's rumored that the next 15-episode run of the show will begin with an engagement and end with a wedding and Busy Philipps, Courteney Cox, and Christa Miller were all in gowns for the afternoon. Courteney's white dress in particular may imply she'll be walking down the aisle with her onscreen love Josh Hopkins. Both Josh and Busy had an exciting weekend escorting good friends - winner Octavia Spencer for him and Michelle Williams for her - to Sunday's SAG Awards, but yesterday they were back to work on Cougar Town. The third season kicks off on Valentine's Day; get a sneak peek at the Cougar Town premiere before it airs!

In addition, David Arquette is scheduled to make a cameo on at least one episode and Couteney stepped behind the camera to direct. The fate of the sitcom is still up in the air, and Courteney confessed on her newly created Twitter account "she sure hopes" there will be more to come from the cul-de-sac crew. As for Busy, we could see her on at least one more red carpet this month since Michelle is also nominated for an Oscar.

Busy Philipps brought a beachy vibe to the red carpet at this evening's SAG Awards. The Cougar Town actress was once again on hand as Michelle Williams's date. The ladies have made the award season rounds side by side so far, including nights out at the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards. Michelle took home the Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy for My Week With Marilyn, and we'll soon see if she and Busy have more to celebrate today. Michelle Williams clutched her best actress in a comedy or musical Golden Globe for My Week With Marilyn en route to the Weinstein Company's afterparty last night. She posed on the carpet withouth her best friend and date, Busy Philipps. The girls met up inside, though, and Busy later tweeted her happiness for Michelle. Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "God." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honor for The Iron Lady.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's a close friend of Harvey's, caught up with his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Jason Statham, Rosie's boyfriend, was also there to share champagne with guys like Rob Lowe, Alexander Skarsgard, and Gerard Butler. Lots of stars and friends-of-the-famous rolled through the bash, including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and a Beverly Hills housewife. Rachel, Kirsten, Minka, and a Fashionable Hollywood Crowd Celebrate Art of Elysium's Heaven Gala

Rachel Bilson, Kirsten Dunst, and Minka Kelly stepped up their fashion game last night at LA's Union Station in support of the Art of Elysium's annual Heaven Gala. Rachel, dressed in a frock from Chanel's Spring 2012 collection, arrived solo, though she later met up with her Hart of Dixie costar Jaime King, who was wearing Valentino. Minka selected a bright Oscar de la Renta gown for the occasion while actress Camilla Belle modeled a bold Carolina Herrera. Newlywed Molly Sims hit the red carpet with her husband, Scott Stuber, in a coral grecian gown. The mom-to-be posed with her hand on her growing baby bump and then stopped to share a hug with stylist Brad Goreski. Brad told us he's hoping all of his clients make the best-dressed list at tomorrow's Golden Globe ceremony, and he can't wait to return to NYC for the upcoming 2012 Fall Fashion Week.

Busy Philipps arrived in a beaded gown and told us the evening's ethereal theme inspired her final dress decision. Tomorrow she'll be accompanying best actress nominee Michelle Williams to the Globes and said she'll have her "fingers crossed" when Michelle's category is announced. Singer Estelle kept the crowd entertained during the celebration in addition to a vintage couture fashion show sponsored by Decades. The gala, celebrating its fifth year, was originally created to celebrate artists who dedicate their time to children battling serious illness. Kirsten Dunst, in a black Valentino, was previously recognized for her philanthropic work with the charity, and this year that honor was bestowed on The Hobbit's Elijah Wood. Elijah took the stage and thanked the organization, saying, "It has enriched my life to be a part of this tirelessly dedicated family and the lives of the children they've transformed."
