All the Action From the Billboard Music Awards Stage

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards brought plenty of famous faces to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Sunday. LMFAO, who won six awards, opened the show before hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell took the stage. A variety of artists including The Wanted and Kelly Clarkson, introduced by Robin Thicke, had their turn in the spotlight. Carrie Underwood, who brought husband Mike Fisher, performed "Blown Away" in a glamorous red dress, while Natasha Bedingfield sang a tribute to the late Donna Summer. Katy Perry rocked the crowd with the debut of her new single, "Wide Awake," and Usher brought "Scream" to the stage.

Justin Bieber took the microphone as well with "Boyfriend." Jordin Sparks shared a moving rendition of "I Will Always Love You," honoring Whitney Houston, after John Legend kicked it off with "The Greatest Love of All." Bobbi Kristina then accepted the millennium award for her mom, saying, "I'm just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman's life." There were many more statues given out this evening with Julianne Hough presenting Justin with top social artist. New Girl's Zooey Deschanel was on hand to introduce Billboard's woman of the year, Taylor Swift.

The Billboard Music Awards Carpet Gets Glam With Katy, Miley, Julianne, and More

The stars came out in Las Vegas for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand tonight. Hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell kicked off the white carpet with a Jean Paul Gaultier-clad Miley Cyrus following closely behind. Nominee Taylor Swift wore red Elie Saab for the musical event, and presenter Julianne Hough chose a short Kaufman Franco dress. Alicia Keys, in long-sleeved Azzedine Alaia, had her husband, Swizz Beatz, by her side, as did performer Carrie Underwood, who looked glamorous in a sparkly Oscar de la Renta gown. Katy Perry matched her purple hair with a lilac Blumarine look and posed with her grandmother before heading inside to take the stage. Also on hand were Justin Bieber, Usher, John Legend and fiancée Chrissy Teigen, and Jordin Sparks - click through to see them all!

Carrie Underwood brought her husband, Mike Fisher, as her date to the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this evening. She dressed up in a sparkly Oscar de la Renta ball gown and accessorized with a pink jeweled clutch. Carrie is performing at tonight's show, which is being hosted by Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen. It's been a busy few weeks for Carrie, who released her album Blown Away earlier this month.

Last night's American Idol saw contestant Skylar Laine go home, but there were plenty of other highlights. Jennifer Lopez looked glamorous in a metallic Paco Rabanne top while Carrie Underwood wowed in a sexy white slitted gown as she returned to the Idol stage. The country singer performed "Blown Away" from her latest album, which dropped on Tuesday. Chris Martin and Coldplay performed as well.

Judge J Lo has her own music news, with her video for "Follow the Leader" being released yesterday. The footage features a topless J Lo with fake tattoos on her back and chest. She shot the feature in Acapulco in March with boyfriend Casper Smart by her side. Casper's been named one of four choreographers on her new tour with Enrique Iglesias, which kicks off in July.

Carrie Underwood Celebrates Her New Album With a Glamour Cover

Carrie Underwood went bright in a Rochas dress for the cover of Glamour's June issue. She's promoting her new album Blown Away, out today, and the accompanying tour, which kicks off at the end of the month. Carrie's getting back to music after taking a break to settle into married life with husband Mike Fisher. The singer talked to the publication about life with Mike, how they handle fame, and her first big splurge. Here's more from Carrie Underwood in Glamour:

On her first big purchase after finding fame: "My first stupid purchase was an accident. I was in Paris and went into one of those big, name-brand, fancy-schmancy designers, and I picked up a sweatshirt. Maybe I didn't understand the price tag. I'm really bad with numbers. But when I went to check out, that sucker was $2,000. I've worn it twice."
On staying grounded: "But my husband came from a small town and hardworking parents like I did, and I don't think we've lost that mind-set. We don't have a bowling alley in our basement. We don't have houses on the beach and one in New York and one in LA. I drive a three-year-old Ford Escape Hybrid. We don't care about stuff like that."
On her relationship with Mike: "A plus is, he knew what to expect. In Canada he was a big celebrity, so he knows what it's like living under a microscope. And he travels a lot, which is good for both of us. We're both independent people, so we can't have somebody around 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The drawback is that we can go weeks without seeing each other. But he's the only guy I've never had to worry about."

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet at this evening's ACM Awards in Las Vegas. They were joined by many other stars from the country music world, including the Band Perry and Lady Antebellum. Carrie donned a white strapless number from Abed Mahfouz, while Taylor picked a J. Mendel gown in a similar hue. Miranda Lambert picked gold to pose alongside her husband Blake Shelton, while Nicole Kidman, in L'Wren Scott, and Keith Urban posed as a couple. LeAnn Rimes wore the super popular Stella McCartney dress that has been seen lately on Brooklyn Decker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sienna Miller. She brought along husband Eddie Cibrian, and they made a mini-scene with their PDA on the carpet.

Taylor is up for three statues tonight, including entertainer of the year. That category sees her up against four of country's most established male artists like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton. Carrie Underwood's 600-Calorie Workout Trick

Since shooting to American Idol fame eight years ago, Carrie Underwood's taken her diet and fitness routine seriously. The "95 percent vegan" singer's healthy lifestyle led her to drop 20 pounds over the years, and while Carrie's got a no-nonsense approach to staying fit, she still likes to have fun while she's exercising. The Self April cover girl recently shared one of her go-to ways to burn 600 calories: the deck of cards workout.

To do the workout, all you need is a deck of cards and a list of your favorite exercises. Assign a body part for each suit (hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs), then write relevant exercises on each one - Carrie splits the deck in half and changes the exercise for each half. The number on the card represents the amount of reps you do. After that all you need to do is shuffle the cards and start drawing!

The deck of cards workout is a great way to have fun in your workouts while burning major calories. "Having different exercises for each half of the deck keeps me from getting bored. I make sure there's a joker in each half - that's a mile run on the treadmill. Then I go through the whole deck. With a 15-minute warm-up on the elliptical, it takes about an hour and a half total, but it's fun because you've designed the workout yourself," Carrie told Self. "Sometimes I'll make spades boxing and beat the crap out of the bag for however many punches the number on the card says."

The Grammy Awards took place in LA last night! The action started right away on the star-studded Grammys red carpet, where outlandish fashions were donned by some of music's biggest names like Fergie, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna. The fun continued during the show, thanks to host LL Cool J. In addition to paying homage to the late Whitney Houston, there were lighter moments thanks to performances from Rihanna and Coldplay, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney, and even the Beach Boys. The night, though, belonged to Adele with six wins for her song "Someone Like You" and her album 21. The Foo Fighters were a close second with five new statues.
