Jennifer Plays Catch and Release with Her Push Ring

Jennifer probably wasn't planning on making a confession to Ben on national television earlier this week when she went on Regis and Kelly. But what better place to make one than in the safety of a large studio audience? On the show, Jen admitted that while getting ready for the premiere for Catch and Release she almost lost a precious diamond ring that Ben had given her after Violet was born. Here's more:

"He gave me this beautiful diamond ring and I was playing with it and ... it fell off," she said. "And it fell under this ice maker in the house – he hasn't even heard of this yet – and ... it fell into the drain under this ice maker."

Fortunately, she had a gem of a plumber on call.

"The plumber had to come and dismantle the thing from under the house. And he found it," she said, holding up her hand to show the ring sparkling again on her finger.

"And Ben hasn't even heard that," said co-host Regis Philbin.

"I should have warned him," Garner said.

Well he for sure knows now. What's even sweeter is that Ben bought her diamonds for little Violet. How's that for motivation for more kids? Jen's new movie Catch and Release hits theaters today. Jen Suggests You Let it All Hang Out

Jennifer is busy promoting her new romantic comedy Catch and Release this week. The film doesn't open until Friday but she's already appeared on The Martha Stewart Show, Live With Regis and Kelly, and GMA. In the film she plays a woman whose fiance dies a few days before their wedding. Afterward she finds out that he wasn't who she thought he was. Jennifer says that doing the film made her be a little more realistic about herself and her relationship. Here's more:

"You can want to see someone as a knight in shining armor and not want to know the other side of them, or see yourself that way and work hard to be perfect and not really let someone know all of you," she said. "This movie kind of teaches you…[to] just go ahead and be everything, let it all hang out."

You mean Ben's not a knight in shining armor? You could have fooled us!

Jennifer Premieres Catch and Release

Jennifer looked fabulous last night at the premiere for her latest, Catch and Release. She said recently she's in the worst shape ever, but now is explaining, "I didn't lose my baby weight for a long time. I just didn't want to - I didn't want to take that hour away from her and work out."

Jen also no longer has an interest in going back to TV saying, "I couldn't do a single lead on a one-hour drama. I have to really love something a lot to be willing to not be with my little girl every day." Ah... we hate to hear she won't be coming back to TV but that is so cute! Jennifer Has a New Release

Even one of Hollywood's most active Mommies needs a break to get back to work. Jennifer is seen without little Violet with what seems to be a script. Could she have another new film in the works? Since Alias has been cancelled Jennifer has been able to concentrate on her film career. First up is Catch and Release. In the film Jennifer plays a woman who loses her fiance only days before their wedding. In the process of healing, she also discovers that he wasn't everything she thought he was. It sounds like a downer, but it's actually a romantic comedy. Looks like Jen is moving away from the ass kickin' action genre into some lighter stuff. That's perfectly alright with us! The film opens January 26th.

Rachel Bilson was in a raincoat and croc Wellies to grab breakfast with a friend on Wednesday in LA. With Hayden off on a trip, Rachel has plenty of time to catch up with her girlfriends in his absence. Rachel and Hayden are both in New York, I Love You which is out today - check out Buzz's lukewarm review - though basically none of the movie's many stars spent time promoting the film's release.
