Gwyneth Is the Only One Promoting Two Lovers

Gwyneth Paltrow was in Paris last night for the premiere of her movie Two Lovers. Earlier this year she screened the film at Cannes, and once again her costar Joaquin Phoenix was a no-show. He appears to be sticking to his decision to give up acting, but their director James Gray was able to step in and walk the red carpet with Gwyneth. Fashion icon Catherine Deneuve was also on hand to lend some glamour to the evening, though all eyes were probably on Gwyneth in that racy lace dress.

Keira and Kanye Join Karl at the Couture Shows

The Spring couture shows continued today in Paris with a few celebs on hand to take in the fashion fun. Keira Knightley looked a bit fancier than last week in her tweed pencil skirt as she showed off a new style of bangs alongside Karl Lagerfeld at the Chanel presentation - here's a look at what he sent down the runways. Kanye West also chatted with Karl before moving on to see Christian Lacroix's offerings. They kept things a little more tame than Mischa did during her time in the city, but Kanye does have business to attend to while he's in France.

Diane and Dita Party in Paris For a Cause

The fashion pack was out in full force last night at the Sidaction AIDS benefit in Paris. With the couture shows over, front row fixtures Dita Von Teese and Diane Kruger were free to mingle with many models including Claudia Schiffer. Diane had a bit of a fashion flashback when model Daria Werbowy showed up in one of her old dresses, but she had nothing to worry about because fortunately she has exclusive access to the most important accessory of all - Joshua Jackson.

Keira Knightley Takes Over For Kate Moss

The beautiful actress who looks amazing in this months Vogue will be the new face for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. The 21 year old will follow in Kate's footsteps as the face of the famous fragrance. The ads will begin in 2007. Here's more:

"Keira Knightley is a bright, young actress who has already made her mark in a diverse portfolio of films, including her Oscar-nominated performance in `Pride & Prejudice,'" said Chanel artistic director Jacques Helleu in a statement.

He also said Knightley's elegance, beauty and modernity parallel some of the brand's other previous famous faces, including Catherine Deneuve and Nicole Kidman, who represented Chanel No. 5.

"(I am) really proud to have been asked to work with such an iconic house as Chanel, and thrilled to follow the extraordinary women who have been associated with it before," Knightley said in a statement.
