NPH Hosts and Jokes His Way Through Mad Men, 30 Rock's Big Emmy Night!
Neil Patrick Harris was the star of the night at yesterday's Primetime Emmy Awards. He hosted the long show and managed to keep things interesting with his constant jokes and hours of preparation looking up the tiniest, most obscure roles on all the presenters' resumes to introduce them with. The Red Carpet Gets a Dose of Bumps, Black and Purple
We already had one look at all the gorgeous ladies on the Emmys red carpet, but many of the other ensembles were also amazing. Heidi Klum kicked things off in a dress that perfectly showcased her growing baby bump, while Tina Fey picked out a number in similar black. Leighton Meester was quite a contrast in white, looking pretty with her red lips.
30 Rock, Mad Men, Grey Gardens, and More Rack Up Emmy Nominations!
Chandra Wilson and Jim Parsons were up early this morning in LA to announce the 2009 Primetime Emmy Nominations, and they happily received nominations of their own! 30 Rock scored the most with 22 nods, including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Mad Men was also popular again this year with 16 noms in categories such as Best Drama Series, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
NPH Entertains an Exuberant Crowd at the Tonys
Neil Patrick Harris donned a shiny tux and a big smile, hosting the Tony Awards last night at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Broadway veteran John Stamos and newcomer Anne Hathaway were among the stars who stepped out to present awards. Dolly Parton, Stockard Channing and Elton John took the stage, as well as Bret Michaels who injured himself during the big opening number.
Ellen Wins Daytime Emmy Awards, Rosie Gets Honorable Mentions
Friday night brought out TV's hottest daytime stars for the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Chandra Wilson and Vivica A. Fox were all about color while Tyra was all about being noticed with the biggest gown ever.
The Ladies Come Out for the Crystal/Lucy Awards
Movie and TV stars came together to celebrate one other for 2007 Crystal/Lucy Awards which honors women in film and television. At the show Renee Zellweger admitted to being a fan of Grey's Anatomy, calling the show "smart, well written with great acting." Sara Ramirez then complimented Renee saying she is "an amazing actress."
Martin Scorsese Wins Top DGA Honor
Things are looking pretty good for Martin Scorsese at the Academy Awards this year. Despite directing classics like Taxi Driver and Goodfellas, Martin has yet to win an Oscar. Over the weekend, however, Martin was chosen as filmmaker of the year at the Directors Guild Awards for The Departed.
Vanessa Gets Busy with Awards Season
Vanessa Williams sure had a busy week. She looked fabulous as a presenter at The People's Choice Awards, and we're also loving the green dress she chose for the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards nomination press conference. Dreamgirls once again scored a ton of nominations leading with eight and Beyonce led the individual nominations with five.

The ladies were bursting with color and sparkle at last night's Emmy Awards. Christina Applegate looked positively radiant and was the talk of the night — smiley, happy and healthy. Mary Louise Parker was the most eye catching of all in her bright blue number though you all were fairly divided on the look while Brooke Shields lived up to the name of her show in Lipstick pink.
