Olsens and Kanye Love Themselves Some Chanel

Paris Fashion Week rolls on and Karl Lagerfeld didn't go with understated to show off the new collection for Chanel - check out the big show here. Some of his favorite little celebrity munchkins were out to see the show, like the Olsens who wore those Willy Wonka sunglasses and got a big hug from Karl. Kanye's puffy vest and Alexis also came out for the show as did Rihanna fresh from her Ireland show. Leave it to Chanel to bring out the big names.

Blake Trades NYC and Penn for Paris and Karl

While Claudia Schiffer and Diane Kruger are fashion show regulars, the Chanel Haute Couture presentation today in Paris was a first for Blake Lively. While she's abroad Gatecrasher reports stateside on the real-life drama brewing between Blake and her co-stars. Apparently she was spotted kissing Penn Badgley while out shopping in NYC on Saturday yet she and Leighton are avoiding each other like the plague (spoiler alert: the newspaper also outs the identity of GG). While in Paris Blake only wanted to talk about how grateful she is for the new life GG has given her. She said,

“I had a normal, all-American high school experience - nothing like the kids on Gossip Girl. The amount of money the characters have is incredible. The kids on the show drink cocktails at the Palace Hotel; I was eating hamburgers at fundraisers at Fuddruckers. [But it’s] opened so many doors for me, like coming to Paris to see a Chanel show. It doesn’t even seem like a job. We’re getting paid to live in New York and wear amazing clothes.”

Lovely Ladies Support The Arts

Last night some of my favorite fabulous ladies attended the P.S. ARTS Party held at the Chanel boutique Beverly Hills. Ginnifer and Chris have long supported the organization, so it's no surprise to see them out for the cause. And don't they just look thrilled to be there? SMG may love herself a good bargain, but a party at Chanel definitely brings out the glamor-loving celebrity in her (and, apparently, a kinda 80s look). Needless to say - R-Bils is a highlight and it pains me to say, but perhaps the hair is pulled back a little too tight? Ouch. So, who is winning the battles of Chanel?

Courtney's Two Big Frock Faux Pas

First things first, I have no idea what's going on in this photo. I've been staring at it for hours and literally. No. Idea. No idea how that dress is staying up. No idea why she's wearing drapes from the early 90's as a strapless dress (especially where there is zero girl-wrangling in the house. See, they're clearly trying to escape) with a matching mini blazer. No idea why this seemed appropriate for an Oscar's after-party. None. Moving on (kind of), another of Courtney's weekend outfits is causing quite the stir too, but in a completely different way. Remember the little French maid-y number she wore to Paris' birthday? It's making one Mr. Karl Lagerfeld very, very unhappy...

Courtney's party dress appeared to be a Chanel frock that debuted on the runway last month, matching fingerless gloves and all. The only problem is, the single sample of the dress remains in Paris...so Courtney's is an imitation. Karl, who designs for Chanel is supposedly "furious" while the fashion house as a whole is "concerned clients might mistake the fake for the real thing, despite the less-than-couture-level workmanship." Love's rep says he's still unsure which stylist sent the dress her way. Chanel hasn't decided whether they will do anything about the issue. Yikes, something tells me it's not pleasant to be on Karl's (or Chanel's for that matter) bad side.

Rachel About to Experience Couturgasm

Rachel McAdams has something big to smile about--her boyfriend Ryan Gosling got nominated for an Oscar this morning (I totally can't wait to see her on the red carpet). Plus, she's been chosen by Elle Magazine as the starlet of choice to model the couture debuted at the Paris shows this week. She's shown here at the Chanel show, rocking her faded pink highlights with her designer duds. Here's more:

Mean Girls star Rachel McAdams will be accompanied by Elle style director Isabel Dupré, as well as photographed by Gilles Bensimon immediately following the shows for an upcoming layout as part of the magazine’s tradition of featuring of an actress/model decked out in couture.

Noted Photographer Gilles Bensimon?!? He exists outside of ANTM?!? Sorry, sorry. Can't wait to see the pics of Rachel in couture, though I somehow doubt she'll be allowed to keep her pink highlights (which have totally grown on me, BTW).

The Victoria's Secret gang was ready to let loose last night at the M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC after their fabulous runway show. Heidi Klum was the last of the Angels to arrive, stepping onto the pink carpet following her surprise turn on the catwalk. After giving birth just last month, she looked amazing in a slick, tight, black and white dress.

The girls all slipped into marginally more covering clothes to pose for photos. Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr, and Alessandra Ambrosio leading the way into the party. Fergie was also there to take in the scene after performing earlier with the Black Eyed Peas during the show. Doutzen Kroes opened up about the healthy breakfast they'd all sat down to in the morning, which included eggs and fruit - nothing to make anyone puffy! The Victoria's Secret Angels hit the runway in NYC this evening for their annual fashion show! The girls looked amazing as usual in their spectacular lingerie. Even Heidi Klum, who only gave birth six weeks ago and wasn't expected to walk at all, took her hosting duties to the next level and strutted her stuff in one sexy outfit. Miranda Kerr, Marissa Miller and Selita Ebanks were highlights as usual as Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas provided the music. We took a look at the models getting ready.

Heidi Klum Hits the Runway With the Angels at VS Show!

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City last night, where the girls stripped down to their lingerie despite the chilly weather outside. There were some playful moments throughout the show, but perhaps the biggest surprise was Heidi Klum. Just six weeks after giving birth to her daughter Lou, Heidi said she was hosting not walking for the event, but she still took to the catwalk in a sexy getup and strode the carpet in a tiny LBD. Fergie got into the spirit performing with the Black Eyed Peas on stage while models like Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr and Chanel Iman walked. Marissa Miller was the chosen one to wear the diamond studded bra this year.

On the red carpet, both Heidi and Fergie both showed off some leg on the famous pink carpet where they were joined by Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg. There were, naturally, some men out for the spectacle as well including Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Jeremy Sisto. While Heidi was busy on the runway, the sixth season of Project Runway came to an end last night - check out the winner here!

Blake and Diane Have a Fine Night Out For Chanel

Diane Kruger joined Blake Lively last night in NYC at Chanel Fine Jewelry's annual Fête d'Hiver. Both ladies are longtime fans of the brand, and they sported some special pieces as they posed for photos. Diane is a staple in the fashion circuit and recently was out to support Jason Wu, in LA. For Blake, the event was a break from her double duty work filming both The Town and Gossip Girl while also promoting The Private Lives of Pippa Lee with magazine interviews.
