Leto Like You Never Wanted To See Him

In case you hadn't heard (in which case, don't follow Leto much, do ya?) Jared Leto had to gain 60 odd lbs. for his role in Chapter 27, the upcoming film about John Lennon's assassination. Fortunately for all of us (for comedy at least...okay it's mostly gross), Leto agreed to have his progress and subsequent weight loss documented by Purple Magazine. It's pretty sick, and not in the cool way.

Meanwhile, you know that story from the weekend about Jared breaking his nose while running into the audience during one of his concerts? Turns out he maybe sustained the injury when attempting to crowd surf...the problem being no one caught him and he landed face down on the ground. Ego ouch and face ouch. Very, very ouch.

Leggy Lindsay Lohan Loves LA But Eyes NYC Again

Lindsay Lohan showed off those stems during a photo shoot in the Hollywood Hills yesterday afternoon. As usual when Samantha is not by her side, she spent her down time talking away on the phone. There have been recent rumors that the duo is looking to buy a place together and the latest is that they're eyeing an apartment at the iconic Dakota in NYC. Lindsay's familiar with the building, especially after making Chapter 27 about John Lennon's assassination in its entrance. Lindsay and Samantha are both pretty bicoastal these days and both girls have roots in New York so it's understandable to settle into a place there - though considering all the traveling it doesn't seem like LL and SR are ever home for very long.

Jared Leto Hates Everyone at Sundance

Jared Leto (shockingly!) acted like a prima donna at Sundance this weekend. The ~~actor~~ ~~rock star~~ Champion of Eyeliner, there to promote his movie Chapter 27 (fine, I guess he's an actor, a rocker, and a CoE) decided that he didn't want his picture taken while out at a club and was seen picking fights with fellow VIPers. Page Six reports:

JARED Leto was in a foul mood at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Saturday night. Leto, who was promoting "Chapter 27" (in which he plays John Lennon's assassin) picked fights with photographers and clubgoers in the VIP section of Tao at Harry O's. When a photographer from WireImage attempted to snap Leto's picture, the eyeliner- clad cad shouted, "No! No more, bro!" Leto walked out - but not before a "big guy" yanked at his long tresses. Leto "whipped off his hat with earflaps on and stepped up to the guy," said a spy. "They were yelling at each other." But no punches were thrown. And though Leto left, he came back a couple hours later to look for the guy.

While Jared may not have been the sole instigator in this altercation, it's not the first time he's gotten into a public scuffle (you may remember his run in with Elijah Wood last fall). It sounds like if the guy hates publicity so much he should steer clear of big photo festivals like Sundance. Just saying.

Leto was also reported to have freaked out when he heard that Justin Timberlake may have been planning to perform at a party attended by the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman. Perhaps it had something to do with their mutual ex Cameron Diaz?

Just Like That, Lohan Is Blond Again

Lindsay Lohan was showing off - or kind of hiding, whatever - her newly blond again hair out grocery shopping with Samantha Ronson in LA yesterday. It feels like we just stopped gushing about how happy we were to have her darker locks back and now platinum it is - dare I even mention the wish that she get back to her natural red? She hasn't been spending her time out promoting Chapter 27's release (a few years later) but at least she's got an excuse. She's been too busy dyeing her hair.

Lindsay Lohan May Be a Manson Girl

Lindsay Lohan took her love of leggings to new heights (literally) pairing them with a skin tight tube top for some shopping, Red Bull and cigarettes in LA with Samantha Ronson yesterday. Beyond her sometimes interesting fashion, LL supposedly made another questionable movie choice. According to the film's producer, Lindsay will star as Nancy Pitman, a follower of Charles Manson, in Manson Girls. Somehow seems like it could be terrible (?) and her movie with Jared Leto, Chapter 27 quietly comes out this weekend and is getting panned, but I'll be happy to see her return to comedy with Jack Black before that.

LL and Little Lennon

When the first reports of Sean Lennon and Lindsay Lohan hanging out appeared I though nothing of it, especially since she is currently working on a movie about his fathers death. Now there are reports of a second outing. I hardly think these two are dating since she seems to be sleeping to every guys she talks to these days. First there was Leto, then Leo, Joaquin, and now Sean. One thing is for sure, she has recovered from her asthma attack and is back to her partying ways - some nights she has her mom by her side. Here's more about her "date" with Sean. NY Daily News reports:

Lindsay Lohan pulled an all-nighter with Sean Lennon Saturday after having gone clubbing with him at Bungalow 8 just two nights before. The two met for dinner at La Esquina before zipping uptown to "Saturday Night Live," giving the lie to reports that Lohan's feuding with Scarlett Johansson, who was host. Lohan is either doing deep research on her movie "Chapter 27," about the murder of Sean's father, John, or she's letting him get in line behind Bruce Willis and "27" co-star Jared Leto. Lohan and Lennon left "SNL" for the Mercer Hotel, then it was on to the Spotted Pig with two gal pals. At 3-ish, the the foursome headed to the National Arts Club. Lennon checked the place out, but soon headed off with Lohan and her ladies-in waiting.

A Leaner Leto

Jared Leto went to Much Music Studios yesterday to promote his band, 30 Seconds To Mars. The group is currently on tour and it looks like the busy schedule has helped Jared lose some of the 50 lbs he gained for Chapter 27. Look at those baby blue eyes. No matter how round his face gets, he'll always have those beautiful eyes.

Lindsay Red Riding Hood

Lindsay and Jared are filming Chapter 27 in NYC. The paparazzi had become a major distraction while they were filming and you can see LL put her best Mean Girls face on. She also looks lovely as little red riding hood, doesn't she?

Yoko Ono has said she is being forced to re-live the death of her husband through the filming of this movie. They are shooting scenes right in front of The Dakota building where Lennon was shot and Ono still lives. Yoko tried to ban producers from shooting scenes there but apparently it didn't go through.
