The winners at last night's star-studded American Music Awards brought their newly acquired statues into the press room of LA's Nokia Theatre. Jennifer Lopez celebrated her favorite Latin artist win between performances, and Taylor Swift proudly showed off her multiple new acquisitions including artist of the year! Nicki Minaj was proud of her two victories in the rap/hip-hop music categories, having won both favorite artist and favorite album with Pink Friday. Katherine Heigl and her musician husband, Josh Kelley, were presenters, but nonetheless showed some love for photographers backstage. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Step Out Amid Two and a Half Men Buzz

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore hit the red carpet in LA last night for the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking gala at the Skirball Cultural Center. It's a cause close to their hearts, but the big news of the night is the story that Ashton Kutcher is joining Two and a Half Men to replace Charlie Sheen. Ashton has yet to confirm the news, though he cryptically tweeted about the square root of 6.25, which is 2.5. It will be a return to TV for Ashton, who got his big break on That '70s Show, and according to TMZ Kutcher's Two and a Half Men salary will be less than half of what his predecessor, the highest paid guy on the small screen, Charlie Sheen was making. Most of you seem pretty split on the idea of Ashton joining the cast of the hit sitcom, so we'll have to wait and see just how he'll fit in with the rest of the crew on the show.

Adrian Grenier and Jeremy Piven Have an Entourage Reunion and Celebrate Their Favorite Teachers

It was a mini-Entourage reunion at the Creative Coalition Teachers Making a Difference lunch in Park City yesterday. Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier both brought their mentors out to the celebratory and charitable Sundance event held at the Bing bar. Jeremy chose to honor his mother on stage while Adrian brought along his high school drama instructor Henry Shifman. Jeremy also has a film at the festival, I Melt With You, which premieres later today. He was coming straight from filming So Undercover in New Orleans with Miley Cyrus and he had nothing but glowing words to say about his young costar. Adrian has been hitting up the Sundance hot spots in support of his short film and celebration of independent cinema. Adrian joked about his post-Entourage career during his presentation with Shifman, while fellow HBO-er Cheryl Hines moderated the philanthropic and big-hearted afternoon. Gwyneth Paltrow, Sofia Vergara, and Ryan Seacrest Stand Up to Cancer Together

Vanessa Hudgens, Kristen Bell, and Mandy Moore walked the red carpet on Friday before heading in to take their seats at the Stand Up 2 Cancer phone banks in LA. The hour-long telethon was broadcast on multiple major networks and streamed across the web, and the effort raised more than $100 million dollars for research in the fight against the disease. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and mom-to-be Christina Applegate, both of whom battled cancer in the past, proudly modeled t-shirts that read "Survivor."

Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the West Coast on Thursday, ready to add her support to the event after attending Fashion's Night Out in London last week. She caught up with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while Rob Lowe joined Diane Lane. Cindy Crawford, and Chuck's Zachary Levi helped in collecting donations, and fresh-from-Mexico Ryan Seacrest also lent his star power to the cause. Contributions to the charity are still being accepted, and they're even open to making good use of Facebook credits!

The Tribeca Film Festival rolled on last night with Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts hitting the red carpet again after their weekend celebrating his movie Every Day. They were out supporting her film Mother and Child with Naomi clad in a pair of interesting cropped pants - what did you think of her upswept hair style? This morning, juror Jessica Alba joined other ladies like Selma Blair for the annual Women's Filmmaker Brunch that last year brought out Mary-Kate Olsen and more. Abbie Cornish also stopped by to pose for a few photos, though since it was a ladies-only meal she couldn't bring along her rumored flame Josh Hartnett.

Stars Keep the Color to a Minimum at Elton's Oscars Party

We've already had one look inside Elton John's Oscars bash, but the fashion highlights came as celebs headed inside the event. Rachel Zoe picked a YSL dress in a simple black, which looks fantastic alongside Chace Crawford's classic tux. Salma Hayek and Hayden Panettiere added a little color to the proceedings, while Victoria Beckham picked a gown from her own upcoming Fall collection.

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks and Glee's Lea Michele stuck with the black theme, each choosing dresses that also incorporated unexpected volume. Kelly Osbourne instead went with a light tone, while Heidi Klum kept things short and sweet. Jason Lewis added a little more sexiness to the proceedings, as Hollywood partied around town at the Governors Ball and Vanity Fair bash as well.

Movie Preview: Meg Ryan in Serious Moonlight

Jenna Elfman's character on Accidentally on Purpose recently made a crack that she knows the stages of womanhood by Meg Ryan movies, and it immediately made me miss seeing the actress in romantic comedies. The trailer for Serious Moonlight may look like a twisted rom-com, but hey, there's mention of love and definitely comedy, so I'm interested.

From the late Adrienne Shelley (who wrote Waitress) and directed by Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines, Serious Moonlight portrays Ryan as a woman who kinda loses it when she learns of her husband's affair with a younger woman (played by Timothy Hutton and Kristen Bell, respectively). I'm hoping this isn't just a crazy woman on display, and that the female filmmakers give it some grounding - I would so love to welcome Meg Ryan back into the funny actress fold. Also, look out for Justin Long in a small part as a petty criminal.

January, Anne, and Olivia Celebrate Their Power With Lunch

Olivia Wilde struck a pose this afternoon at the Power of Women luncheon in LA, while elsewhere the news broke that her costar Jennifer Morrison will be leaving their series House. Olivia was joined by a fresh-off-the-Emmys-red-carpet January Jones, along with Anne Hathaway and AnnaLynne McCord. Christina Aguilera was also in attendance, as her husband Jordan Bratman dared to be one of the few guys in the room. The event was designed to honor eight ladies - Christina Aguilera, Christina Applegate, Maria Bello, Anne Hathaway, January Jones, Sigourney Weaver, film executive Sherry Lansing, and producer Laura Ziskin - who all maintain their commitment to charitable causes despite their hectic Hollywood careers.

2009 Tribeca Film Festival Spotlight: Serious Moonlight

I've been perusing the long list of interesting-looking movies scheduled for this year's Tribeca Film Festival, which starts this week. Some of them, like Serious Moonlight, are starting to earn some buzz, and I'm anxious to find out what festivalgoers think once they've screened.

This movie looks interesting but no matter what happens, I'll always have bittersweet associations with it. Serious Moonlight will mark Cheryl Hines's directorial debut, and she worked with a screenplay written by the late Adrienne Shelly who was tragically murdered just before her movie Waitress opened in theaters. So while I'm obviously looking forward to more material from the wonderful Shelly, it's also another reminder of her untimely death.

But back to why this movie looks so good. First, the cast: Kristen Bell, Meg Ryan, Justin Long, and Timothy Hutton? Yes, please! Then there's the movie's description:

After she arrives at her country home for a romantic weekend getaway, things don't go exactly as planned for high-powered Manhattan lawyer Louise (Meg Ryan): Her husband of 13 years, Ian (Timothy Hutton), tells her he's leaving her for a younger woman (Kristen Bell). Soon Ian finds himself held captive by an oddly cool Louise, who explains that she won't release him until he commits to working on their marriage.

I love the idea of a movie about a woman kidnapping her cheating husband. What say you? Interested in learning more about this one?
