Justin and His Friends Sing the Night Away For Charity

Justin Timberlake took a break from golfing to rally some of his musical buddies to put on a benefit concert as part of his tournament for Shriners Hospital. Rihanna, Leona Lewis, and the Jonas Brothers were just a few of the acts that took the stage on Friday night at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Of course, Justin himself was all over the stage, and it looks like he joined in on almost every act of the night. Jessica Biel had to wait for her man backstage, but she was right there in his arms to party into the wee hours after all the big performances.

Justin Timberlake Plays On and Off the Golf Course

The good times at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals For Children Open continued at the after party in Las Vegas last night and back on the course today. JT worked on his swing while Ellen DeGeneres brought along her own sound system. By nightfall Justin's favorite ladies, his mom and Jessica Biel, smiled together while he caught up with fellow golf enthusiast Josh Duhamel. Justin seems to have figured out how to make philanthropy fun, and always manages to put his personal spin on things - like in this little Vote in a Box song he whipped up while rallying for Obama.

Lance Bass Comes Out

After much speculation, Lance lands the cover of People Magazine to reveal that he is gay. He says he is in a very stable relationship with season four winner of the Amazing Race hottie, Reichen Lehmkuh. Lance says the reason he did not reveal his sexuality earlier is because he didn't want to affect the group's popularity. People reports:

"I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys' careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything," says Bass, referring to bandmates Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake.

"I didn’t know: Could that be the end of ’N Sync? So I had that weight on me of like, ‘Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad.' So I just never did," he says speaking about his sexual orientation for the first time with PEOPLE.

"The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say," he explains of his decision to come out. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I'm just happy."

As for why he's talking about this now Bass says, "The main reason I wanted to speak my mind was that (the rumors) really were starting to affect my daily life. Now it feels like it's on my terms. I'm at peace with my family, my friends, myself and God so there's really nothing else that I worry about."

Good for you Lance! We know this must have been hard for him and we think it's great that he finally revealed what many already thought to be true.
