The annual series of nationwide GLAAD media award ceremonies kicked off this weekend in NYC. Vanessa Williams and her pregnant Ugly Betty costar Ana Ortiz were two of the attendees, while Tyra Banks received the Excellence in Media Award for her efforts to increase "visibility and understanding of the gay and lesbian community." Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided one red carpet was enough for them last night, but many other celebrities headed to the afterparty once the Critics' Choice Awards were over. Aaron Eckhart looked very happy after Dark Knight scored a few wins, including a moving one for his costar Heath Ledger. Presenters Josh Brolin and Kate Beckinsale cozied up to their spouses, and gorgeous Freida Pinto had a huge smile on her face after Slumdog Millionaire took home five awards including best picture, director, and young actor.

Chris Noth was ready for his Hawaiian vacation wearing a goofy shirt and hat as he arrived in Maui with his family on Thursday. He made funny faces and kept a watchful eye over baby Orion, who practiced crawling in the grass. As he enjoys his time off, Chris's Sex and the City costars are already creating buzz about a possible sequel.

The gorgeous women of Sex and the City followed their pink carpet premiere with a star-studded after-party at NYC's MoMa last night. The fab foursome continued to pose together (do you think SJP looked better than LL in that Nina Ricci dress?) as Mario Cantone had fun with some sailors and Jennifer Hudson showed off her second dress of the evening. Even though the night was mostly about the ladies, SJP was accompanied by her proud husband Matthew Broderick, while Candace Bushnell and Anna Wintour brought their men, Charles Askegaard and Shelby Bryan.

Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot).

In March we got a peek at Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth at work on this Annie Leibovitz photoshoot, and now here's the gorgeous final product! The duo shot this spread for June Vogue, and judging from how much chemistry they have, it wasn't hard for these two to get back into their Sex and the City characters for the photos. In the issue, SJP discusses fashion, style, and one of the few things she and Carrie Bradshaw have in common.

After all the fabulous red carpet appearances from the A-list crowd at the Superhero themed Costume Gala, the night carried on and sounded just as dramatic as the entrances. Apparently Julia Roberts and Victoria Beckham bonded over motherhood while Tom continued to express his love with a lick on Katie's sweet neck. Hmm, gross.

The cast of the Sex and the City movie stopped by Oprah to chat about fashion, their lives, and of course that amazingly anticipated film on the episode that aired today. Oprah gushed about the movie too, urging women everywhere to make a girls' night out to see it — as if anyone needs any convincing about that. In the true spirit of Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica couldn't resist comparing her enthusiasm to shoes, saying, "Excited is like a flip-flop to a high heel…it doesn't even describe [it]!"

Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth were back to work on that Annie Leibovitz photoshoot in NYC this week. This time the duo took their poses to Central Park — how fabulous is that dress? While we patiently await the May 30 release date for the Sex and the City movie, there may be some very lucky festival goers who get an even earlier look.
