Reese, Tom, and Chris Team Up to Show This Means War in LA

Reese Witherspoon joined her This Means War leading men on the red carpet at their LA premiere last night. She was decked out in a strapless dress from Miu Miu to sign autographs for fans and pose for pictures with "Piney" and Tom, who brought along his British actress fiancée Charlotte Riley. Reese, Chris, and Tom were together last weekend for their junket as well. We caught up with the trio there, and Reese joked about the challenges of choosing one of the two guys, Chris or Tom, in the movie. Yesterday, Reese talked about having more kids. She said, "I would love that!"

Chelsea Handler, who plays Reese's BFF, didn't pose with her costars. Instead, she made her way solo down the press line, and joked with us about her relationships with Reese, Chris, and Tom. When asked which actor, Chris or Tom, she would pick if given the choice, Chelsea went with Mr. Hardy since she's a big fan of muscles. During our chat, Reese revealed the surprising - if scary - risk one guy took to try and win her over in real life, while Chris admitted to feeling some nerves over his onscreen fistfight with Tom, who has a pretty impressive mixed martial arts background. Reese Witherspoon sparkled in Louis Vuitton at today's London premiere of This Means War. She was joined on the red carpet by her leading men Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and the film's director McG. Reese is the object of both Tom and Chris's affection in the romantic comedy, though in real life she only has eyes for husband Jim Toth. Jim and Reese shared a cute outing last weekend before she jetted off to Paris for a shopping trip. Reese spent a few days in France shopping through the city of light before making her way to England.

Tom and Chris have been equally busy leading up to today's international debut. This Means War is the first of three 2012 releases from Tom including the highly anticipated Summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises as well as his dramatic period piece Wettest County. Chris is balancing appearances and projects as well with preproduction on J.J. Abrams's Star Trek followed by the November release of Rise of the Guardians.

This Means War Trailer: Reese Witherspoon Gets Caught Up in Spy Games

The action romantic comedy is one of Hollywood's genres du jour, but the film industry has seen some serious misses with movies like Killers and The Bounty Hunter. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like This Means War will be any better. The film stars Chris Pine and Tom Hardy as BFF CIA agents who are at an impasse when they realize they're both dating the same woman (Reese Witherspoon). Rather than dump her, they decide that they'll let her choose which guy she wants to be with, and thus begins the hijinks and date sabotage, with the help of their CIA resources.

The trailer's focus is definitely on the action side: there's lots of explosions, gunplay, and the like. In fact, Witherspoon pretty much takes a backseat to Hardy and Pine as they duke it out for her affections. Unfortunately, there aren't many laughs, other than a one-liner from Pine at the very end. William Shatner's The Captains Debuts Tonight

The documentary The Captains, produced and directed by the original Star Trek captain William Shatner, will premiere tonight at 8 p.m. EDT on EpixHD.

The film looks at Shatner's life and career post-Captain Kirk and includes intimate conversations with other actors that have played captains in the Star Trek franchise, which will, of course, feature Patrick Stewart and Chris Pine as well. Chris is back in the States after shooting This Means War alongside Reese Witherspoon in Vancouver during the Fall. Elizabeth joined him on the set yesterday, fresh from her recent stop at Sundance. The actress promoted her movies My Idiot Brother and The Details during her quick trip to Park City, and also showed off her chic cold-weather style.

Chris Pine Gets Situated With Welcome to People

Chris Pine was spotted by his trailer on the LA set of Welcome to People yesterday. The actor's back to work on another film project after spending the last couple months of 2010 shooting This Means War with Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy. His new project will feature leading ladies Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Pfeiffer. The project was written by Alex Kurtzman, whom Chris knows from back when they made Star Trek together.

Reese Witherspoon Has Another Rough Day on Set

Reese Witherspoon spent yesterday afternoon in Vancouver filming This Means War with Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. It was just Reese and Chris once the sun went down, though, and the duo got down to business shooting a kissing scene. Reese was also spotted on the movie's set Monday, when she and the boys had more physical work to do. The actress was up in Canada following a weekend in LA with Jim Toth, Ava, and Deacon, and hopefully she's able to head back home to prep for a family-filled Thanksgiving. Lucky Reese seems to be included by handsome men wherever she goes - she had the good fortune to work alongside Robert Pattinson on Water for Elephants earlier this year, and there are new images out of him and Reese in their period costumes.

Reese Witherspoon got physical with costars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine on set in Vancouver yesterday. She was back to work on This Means War after finishing up on Friday and heading home for the weekend. Reese took advantage of her trip to LA by making time for family, including a day of shopping with Jim Toth, Ava, and Deacon. Her back and forth travel schedule has become routine since she started working on the comedy in September, though she can count on Jim to help out when she's away from home.

Reese Finds Herself in the Middle of Tom and Chris's War

Reese Witherspoon was in the middle of the action yesterday on the Vancouver set of This Means War. She and costars Chris Pine and Tom Hardy filmed a tough-looking scene, in which the boys were covered in blood and holding guns while Reese had her hands tied. By the evening, things appeared to calm down, and Chris was spotted laughing with his arm around Reese. The three actors seem to have grown close during their months together in Canada, though Reese will soon be out on the promotional trail for How Do You Know with Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. Reese's main man off screen, Jim Toth, stays in LA while she's away, even making time for some bonding with her son, Deacon.
