Mischa Barton was honey-colored and casual chic at a press conference for Closing the Ring in Tokyo today. Her outfit almost made her blend in with the movie poster, but the full hairstyle helped Mischa stand out - find out how to re-create loose curls here. The starlet had plenty to say as she gushed about the film, but it seems like Little Miss wholesome and innocent photo op was mostly interested in talking about how comfortable she was with the nude scenes.

Mischa Shrugs Off Director's Red Carpet Advances

Mischa Barton brought her goldilocks overseas to premiere Closing the Ring in Barcelona last night. She was accompanied by the film's director, Richard Attenborough, who clearly loves his starlet - aw, she's a good sport though. By Barton standards, she looks pretty great here, especially in comparison to her recent boyfriend hippie thing and sideboob dog shopping. This movie still has no US release date, so I guess we'll just wait for DVD?

Mischa Opens Up Closing the Ring

Mischa Barton looked, sigh, pretty ridiculous at the red carpet premiere of her new movie Closing the Ring in Belfast last night. Bella wants to know, what do you think about her blonder again locks? The film has a UK release date of Dec. 28, but nothing stateside as of yet. Ergh, let's hope the rest of her upcoming movies fare better than this one. At least she seems happy with her career options these days. I'll always root for my little OCers, but I do wish Mischa would lose the cowgirl shirt. It may be better than her high-heeled Keds, but at least she was paid to wear those.

For me, iPhoneography is becoming an obsession, so of course, I'd want to load up on apps and tools to help me take better pics. First up, the Wide/Macro Phone Lens ($20) from Photojojo.

The lens is easy to install onto any phone - just apply the included metal sticker ring around your phone lens (there are several that fit just about any phone, including those with flash), and your macro lens will grip with ease, thanks to a strong magnetic pull. The lens works like a charm and really does improve the look of your close-ups. One note - your pics may turn out darker than normal in low light, so be sure to compensate with a light source.

Let's face it - if you weren't into mood rings when you were younger, then you probably didn't like fun stuff. But the secret of the mood ring (spoiler alert) is in your body's temperature. Picking up where the mood ring craze left off is the InCase Thermo Snap Case ($35) that changes from dark to light, depending on the temperature. A long phone call or a handprint will make a lasting impression as the case slowly returns to room temp, but considering how much I'm on my phone, I'm looking forward to lots of color-changing opportunities.

I kinda wish the color change was more dramatic (throw some purple, green, and blue in there!), but hey - maybe version 2.0 will more closely resemble the mood rings of my past.

Punctuality is a crucial part of professionalism and making positive first impressions. While we've heard some ridiculous excuses for being late, tardiness is usually caused by something more mundane. If you regularly find yourself racing the clock, take a step back and assess what's causing you to run behind.

Alarm problems. Either it didn't go off, you set it for the wrong time, or you slept right through it - whatever the case, turn around your alarm troubles by spending some extra time planning your sleep schedule. Make sure you're getting seven to eight hours of shut-eye each night and guarantee a smooth morning by setting two or three alarms. Struggle to get out of bed in the morning? Place your alarm on the other side of the room so that you're forced to get up to turn it off.
Getting ready gets chaotic. Where's your purse? Your keys? Did you leave that shirt at the dry cleaner? These stressful moments are easily avoidable. Prep for your morning the night before and make a list of everything you need to grab before heading out the door. And be honest with yourself - if it takes you 15 minutes to do your hair, don't allot five.

Group Therapy: I Found Out That My Boyfriend Is Going to Propose

My boyfriend and I have been dating for three and a half years. We are both in our late 20s. I recently found out that he bought an engagement ring to give to me (he had it custom designed by a jeweler who is a close friend of the family), and I am so beyond excited. I love him to death and I am so happy that he is ready to take this step with me. The problem is now I am expecting him to propose, and every time we go to our favorite restaurant or some romantic place, when he doesn't propose I am left very disappointed.

I don't know how to stop feeling this way. I cannot trick myself into forgetting about it and I just keep getting upset, even though I don't want to. I know I should just wait, but what if it takes him a few months to get up the courage? I know plenty of guys who have had the ring a long while before proposing . . . He's not going to EVER propose if I keep getting upset every time he takes me on a nice date! Should I just tell him that I know? I feel like that would upset him and take a lot of the fun out of it for him.

William and Kate Ring In the New Year With the Middletons

Kate Middleton and Prince William spent New Year's Eve with family and friends at her parents' home in Bucklebury, England. Kate was spotted frolicking around the grounds with a four-legged companion while William followed closely behind wearing his favorite Le Chameau boots and a traditional Barbour jacket. The couple spent the evening dining and dancing under a kata, a giant teepee-style tent, with her sister, Pippa, parents, Michael and Carole, and approximately 100 guests.

William and Kate were reportedly planning to spend the evening with his family in Scotland but apparently changed plans to hang with her loved ones. Prince Harry missed out on the New Year's Eve celebration and instead opted to ring in the new year from a ski resort in Switzerland. Many of you are hoping 2012 brings a royal baby for William and Kate, but we'll have to wait and see what the next 12 months hold in store for the young couple.
