Kim Kardashian is on the cover of November's Cosmopolitan, and she sat down with the magazine to talk about the new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and her past. She touched on the slightly dicey topic of her old sex tape with Ray J, saying, "I was devastated. . . But when something negative happens, I pick myself up and move on, and I don't make the same mistake twice." Kim seems to be in the process of re-branding herself as a savvy entrepreneur, but revisiting this particular issue might remind people of her old wild ways. Everyone feels the need to explain their actions, but tell us - do you think Kim mentioning the sex tape was understandable or unwise?

Lauren Conrad Is Over The Hills

Lauren Conrad showed off her California girl style as she posed in various LWDs for a Cosmopolitan photo shoot. Her final episode of The Hills airs on Sunday, and many of you are still interested in her last days on the show. Lauren opened up about her frustrations with producers concerning Heidi, and talked about her excitement for the future. Here's more:

On The Hills producers pushing her and Heidi back together in season five: "What they didn't get is that I didn't want to fight with her anymore. It's hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, 'We can't be friends. Too much has happened.' I'm trying to move on, but they won't let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position well . . . you get upset."
On Kyle Howard: "I feel sexiest with him when I'm in sweatpants and no make-up. "
On life after the show: "I've always had another season to look forward to, but now life is a little more unplanned. It's really exciting."

It's not surprising that LC is looking forward to a more private life, and we continue to see how happy she is with Kyle without any manufactured drama from MTV.

Jessica Simpson Gives Us the Usual Fare For Cosmo

Jessica Simpson's big white smile matched her shirt on the December issue of Cosmopolitan. This cover is a bit of a change from her recent country looks, but Jess continues to open up on her favorite topics - boys, relationships, and honesty. Here's more:

On being interviewed: “I definitely know a lot more about myself from being asked questions and being forced to answer them truthfully. They make me face the reality of what people want to know. I’m see-through. And I’m the worst liar of all time.”
On Tony: "I'd always fall for guys I wanted to save. For the first time, I fell in love with someone who saved me."
On marriage: "I think any person who I'm gonna date for longer than six months, I definitely am investing in something long-term. If I get married again, then it will be the last time. Nick will always be a part of my life, but next time, I'm marrying the right one."

We'll have to wait a little longer to see if Jess changes her mind about taking Tony shopping for engagement rings, but in the meantime she can look forward to becoming an aunt as the next milestone.

Jessica Alba shows off her soft and girly side in the August UK Cosmopolitan. The actress and new mom opens up about her pregnancy, her surprise wedding, and how she never thought she'd end up where she is now. Here are some highlights:

On falling for Cash: "We met on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2005. I remember thinking right away, 'What a great guy.' The first week we got together, he gave me a note saying, 'I really, really like you.' And that was exactly how I felt. Cash believes, as I do, in taking life as it comes. Nothing was planned – the pregnancy or the wedding – but he took it in his stride and convinced me we’d conquer all! I love that. He makes me laugh more than anyone - and he's great looking too..."
On being pregnant: "I never felt less sexy. I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world and my cravings weren't so bad - I craved citrus fruits, like lemons, oranges and grapefruit. But I wanted to get rid of all the weight. It was also a great happiness, though and I certainly didn't have any cravings not to be pregnant."
On what surprises her about men, and double standards: "How easily they're attracted to the obvious. All you have to do is dress up in a sexy outfit. When I went blonde for Sin City three years ago, I swear I've never had more male attention. [...] I don’t like double standards. I’d never use a man for sex but I can understand why some women would – and I don’t see why they should be criticized for having the same attitude as men."

On her surprise wedding: "Well, we'd talked about the possibility of having a wedding before the birth, but nothing was decided. Then we just thought, 'Why not?' We wanted to do it for ourselves, not for anyone else, so it just made sense. It was very romantic, though. Cash designed the ring himself. He decided he wanted to wear one, too - I didn't even have to force him! How he proposed is a secret but, needless to say, I said yes right away. We’re not a typical Hollywood couple. I love that he’s not an actor."
On dating actors: "I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they’re all such divas! They take longer in hair and makeup than I do. I used to do action scenes in the TV series Dark Angel and if you roughed one of them up, they'd complain. I remember accidentally hitting one guy on the jaw and he needed a 20 minute break so he could put ice on it. He even wanted X-rays! I was like, 'Come on, get over it.'"
On her life now: "I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby. I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn’t have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!"

Sounds like Jessica has been happy to roll with all the surprises and looks great where she's ended up. Now we just can't wait to see the little Honor who has helped make her glow so much.

Scarlett Johansson Is Simply Made for Monogamy

Despite one of Scarlett Johansson's two expected summer movies, He's Just Not That Into You being pushed back again until next year, she landed the sexy August cover of Cosmopolitan to help promote Vicky Cristina Barcelona. In the magazine, the newly-engaged actress opened up about her unassuming style and her successful love life. Here's more:

On keeping it simple: “I don’t normally think about being sexy. I think, Do I look presentable? Do I look sane?”
On her love life: "I've always been in monogamous relationships. . . monogamy can be hard work for some people. I don't think it applies to everybody, and I don't think a lot of people can do it."

After another rough week for Hollywood relationships, we've got to give Scarlett some credit for not being afraid of commitment. That being said, it doesn't seem too hard to stick with a hot fiancé like Ryan Reynolds.

Jennifer Lopez Is the Queen of Mistakes and Happy About It

It's been a few weeks since we've seen Jennifer Lopez out and about, but she's all over the magazines these days. She's not showing off her bump photoshoot-style just yet, but that doesn't mean she won't partake in the requisite excited talk about her growing family in UK Cosmopolitan. Awwwww all around. Here are highlights:

On her diva demands: "[Laughs] All that diva stuff was just so unreal. I never made demands like that. I would never ask for rooms to be painted white and I don't even know how to count the threads on sheets! Sometimes you can get stuck in a world and you don't know how to get out because it's all so crazy. But you learn - boy do you learn. Hey, I'm the Queen of Mistakes!"
On motherhood changing her life: I don't know about motherhood, but certainly being this happy has changed me. I feel so much more creative about music - now if people criticize my music it doesn't bother me because it's not the only thing in my life. I wake up and I don't groan, thinking of all the things I need to do. I'm just happy.

Happiness abounds with the moms and moms-to-be in Hollywood today. Yay! Gushing all around! Anyway, she may not be a diva, but I can't wait to see her little one(s) who will surely be some of the most fashionable tots around.

Single Jessica Shows Off For Cosmo

Jessica Alba looks sultry in fuchsia as she shows off a little leg on the cover of the September issue of Cosmopolitan. Despite a reunion lunch with Cash the two are definitely over. In the issue, Jessica keeps quiet about Cash but does dish on Dane Cook and of course, being sexy. Here are highlights:

On her role in Good Luck Chuck and her co-star, Dane Cook:
"I play the biggest dork ever...I've wanted to do comedy my whole career, and Dane really encouraged me just to make an ass of myself."

On when she feels the most confident:
"I probably feel sexiest after the gym, right out of the shower, in my birthday suit."

It will definitely be interesting to see Jessica take on a more comedic role, since we're so used to seeing her kicking ass a la The Fantastic Four and Dark Angel. For more of Alba in Cosmo check out newsstands August 14th.

Serious manjoyment alert - last night in NYC some of our favorite adorable guys gathered together at an event honoring Cosmopolitan's fun, fearless males of the year. We always love to see a little more John Krasinski (even if he does look a bit goofy here), and Peter Krause and Dave Annable are a breath of fresh air while we wait for their TV shows to come back from hiatus. Of course, it can't be ignored that Jessica Simpson must enjoy herself a fun and fearless man, as Dane Cook, John Mayer, and Tony Romo all made the list, and probably found themselves in an awkward moment or two. John even took home the top honor of the night, and might we say that he is also looking like the fairest of them all.

Katherine Heigl's Fun and Fearless

Katherine Heigl has another reason to be happy - she's just been named Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Female of the Year. Katherine has been busy setting up her new house, and her mom was even on hand to help move furniture. Thursday we sadly saw the the last Grey's Anatomy episode until the strike is resolved - check out Buzz's recap here. Katherine insists she isn't letting her success go to her head and she told Cosmo, "There are people in my life who keep me grounded, so I couldn't behave that badly, even if I wanted to." Katherine does like to voice her opinions, but all that QT with her mom probably keeps her (relatively) level-headed.

Whitney Tries to Smile Through the Stress

Whitney Port had her coffee and cell phone like a native New Yorker for a walk in Manhattan this week - get her look here . She has some free time now that The City has wrapped for the season, but she recently opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine about all the stress the series has caused her. She said, “I break down a couple of times a week, at least. It gets overwhelming. Sometimes I think that I can’t take this anymore. I just want to live a normal life." The pressures of an unknown city, new job, and end of a relationship can take their toll, but Whitney has great groups of girlfriends on both coasts to help her through any tough times.
