Courteney, Busy, and Company Take Us Behind the Scenes on Season Three of Cougar Town

Fans of Cougar Town will have something extra to celebrate this Valentine's Day when the ABC comedy makes its long-awaited return to the airwaves. We paid a visit to the set of the show recently to get a preview of what's ahead for season three - including a wedding for Jules and Grayson - straight from the cast. Courteney Cox and Josh Hopkins talked about the trouble being engaged will present for the pair, Busy Philipps dished on the new business Laurie will be starting, and Dan Byrd revealed that a pretty major injury is on deck for Travis in the upcoming episodes. Busy Gets Back to Business With Courteney and the Cougar Town Cast

The women of Cougar Town were decked out to film a big scene for their season finale in LA yesterday. It's rumored that the next 15-episode run of the show will begin with an engagement and end with a wedding and Busy Philipps, Courteney Cox, and Christa Miller were all in gowns for the afternoon. Courteney's white dress in particular may imply she'll be walking down the aisle with her onscreen love Josh Hopkins. Both Josh and Busy had an exciting weekend escorting good friends - winner Octavia Spencer for him and Michelle Williams for her - to Sunday's SAG Awards, but yesterday they were back to work on Cougar Town. The third season kicks off on Valentine's Day; get a sneak peek at the Cougar Town premiere before it airs!

In addition, David Arquette is scheduled to make a cameo on at least one episode and Couteney stepped behind the camera to direct. The fate of the sitcom is still up in the air, and Courteney confessed on her newly created Twitter account "she sure hopes" there will be more to come from the cul-de-sac crew. As for Busy, we could see her on at least one more red carpet this month since Michelle is also nominated for an Oscar.

Courteney Cox Makes a Splash With Shirtless Brian Van Holt

Courteney Cox unzipped her wetsuit between filming scenes for Cougar Town on location in Malibu yesterday. She was joined by costar Brian Van Holt for the beach day and the duo hung out in the sand when they weren't jet skiing close to shore. Courteney and Brian have been hard at work on the series since returning from a getaway together earlier this month. Courteney has also been involved in another small screen project supporting her ex David Arquette as he competes on Dancing With the Stars. Courteney and Coco have been a staple in the audience, though they have some friendly fan competition from all the ladies in contestant Rob Kardashian's life. Kourteney, Kim, and Khloe's screaming apparently overpowered the rest of the cheering, though Coco did her best to upstage the sisters during this week's taping.

Courteney Cox touched down at LAX yesterday with her Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt and daughter Coco Arquette. The trio returned to the West Coast after their latest getaway. Brian, Courteney, and Coco vacationed together last Spring around the time the Cougar Town season finale was shooting in Hawaii. Brian and Courteney's show will return midseason this year, and she even got behind the camera to direct. Her estranged husband, David Arquette, is also venturing into new work territory with a stint on Dancing With the Stars. David chatted with Jay Leno recently about the mature advice Coco gave him. Seven-year-old Coco said, "Try to be calm, breath, feel the wind in your hair, and meditate if you can."

The cast recently got back to work on the third season of the comedy, which is expected to return to the airwaves in November. Courteney will be working with her costars and crew in a new capacity this year - Courteney is set to direct an episode of Cougar Town. She's one of several TV leads who have taken a turn behind the camera on their series. Jon Hamm and John Slattery have both done so on Mad Men, and Kevin Connolly took on double duty for the last season of Entourage, as well. It was Courteney's costar Busy's accessories that gave a hint at an upcoming storyline yesterday - she looked to be wearing an ankle-monitoring bracelet with her platform heels!

Courteney has been hanging out with Coco and her female friends during her break from TV, and is also using the time off to indulge in some of her other passions. Courteney Cox wrapped things up at an LA hair salon yesterday and followed her daughter, Coco, out to their car. Coco was either ready for or fresh from the pool, looking ready for a dip in her swimsuit and tank top! The Summer has given Courteney lots of time to hang out with family during her Cougar Town hiatus. She and her estranged husband, David Arquette, have been separated for nine months but still see each other frequently. David's apparently moved on romantically, as he was recently linked to Joe Francis's ex-wife Christina McLarty. Courteney is using her break from TV to actually get into writing. Courteney Cox wrote about her dry skin for her latest installment on a beauty blog. She tackles the issue with a loofah and oils, writing, "I have the dryest skin! I know I need to drink more water."
