Pete and Ashlee Do a Bronx Care Swap While Ash Is NY Bound

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz haven't been able to spend too much time in the same place this Summer, and their paths crossed briefly this week for a quick date night in LA on Tuesday. It was Ashlee's turn to head out yesterday as she flew from LAX to NYC while Pete was at Dodger Stadium throwing out the first pitch. They still send each other sweet messages over Twitter, but there's nothing like having some real family time with baby Bronx. Ashlee's been working hard on her hotly anticipated Melrose Place, and she'll be on The Today Show and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote her show today.

Robert Is Finally Back as Edward on the Set of Eclipse!

It was exciting enough to finally see Robert Pattinson arriving on the set of Eclipse yesterday in Vancouver, but even better - a few hours later he stepped out of his trailer as Edward Cullen! It's only been a few months since they wrapped up work on New Moon, but it already feels like forever since the Twilight star was all made up as a vampire in love. It's no surprise that he made it to the final two of our shirtless bracket this year, and he currently has the lead over Kellan Lutz - check out a slideshow of their ab-baring accomplishments. With Edward on set, his Bella shouldn't be too far behind, so fingers crossed we soon have some Kristen Stewart to add to our already fantastic Robert Pattinson Friday manjoyment.

Rachel, Brad, and Eric Look Heavenly at Time Traveler's Wife

Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana got a special visit from their executive producer, Brad Pitt, at the premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife in NYC last night. The actress showed off some skin in her dress and was without a date amid rumors things are over with Josh Lucas. Rachel recently compared life as an actor to the film saying, "Actors are gypsies and we're constantly going in and out of our lives and jumping into others. As a person who travels a lot, I hope that the person I am with would be patient with me, because that's the nature of my life." Fresh off traveling cross-country, Brad was also decked out in white - the opposite of his and Angelina's black-on-black at Monday night's big premiere of Inglourious Basterds in LA. Only Eric had his partner by his side, wife Rebecca Gleeson, at the screening and afterparty.

Mariah Carey Gets Obsessed With Her Inner Man

Mariah Carey was all over NYC yesterday filming her latest music video for "Obsessed." Not only did she pour herself into one of her usual busty concoctions, but she also cross-dressed a bit to play a man in the video. Her doggie Jack got to come along for the fun at The Plaza Hotel and The Oak Room. Mariah's new track takes shots at Eminem who's targeted her a few times and it looks like men in general might be in for a bit of a skewering in the video.

Cameron Wants Us to Know She's Not a Man-Hater

Before Cameron Diaz spent her long weekend frolicking around Hawaii in her bikini, she sat down for an interview with Parade magazine. The actress is promoting My Sister's Keeper and she shared her feelings on everything from her love life to growing older and grieving over her father's death. Here's more:

On men: "Men are wonderful. I don't think my feeling about that is ever going to change. I'm never going to feel differently about men. I'm not a man-hater. It's just not in my nature. I think guys are amazing. I love the dichotomy, the differences in men and women. I think it's wonderful. It keeps things interesting. "
On having kids: "I think that it’s normal for people to ask that, especially of someone my age, because it seems like the obvious thing: ‘Why haven’t you done it?’ It doesn’t bother me. It’s not the cross I bear. I’m not somebody who is going to declare either way if I’m absolutely going to or I’m absolutely not going to have children. I have no idea. I’m still young. I have an unbelievable life. In some ways, I have the life that I have because I don’t have children. I don’t think it’s a compromise to have children,” she adds. “I don’t think it’s a compromise not to. I think it’s just a different choice."
On her past relationships: "I think that what I’ve found, in my experience, is that you always find the person who you’re meant to be with at that time in your life. And what I’ve also found is that you have to move on from those people at certain times, because that’s the way it happens. For me personally, there’s nothing wrong with that. A lot of people find themselves trapped in something that they’ve outgrown and are unhappy. And they don’t know how to get out of it because they think that they’re supposed to make it happen."

On having ugly days: "Oh, sh- yeah. I have them. I don't declare myself as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. That's other people's label. I don't think that self-deprecation is healthy for people. I think you should have a healthy relationship with yourself. And so we all have our 'up' days and we all have our 'down' days. But I'm not going to walk through this world hating myself because somebody else doesn't think I'm pretty. All I can do is know how I feel about myself."
On getting older: "I don't have a problem with growing older. I really don't. I have no problem with it. It's wonderful. Thank God we get older because if we're not getting older, we're dead. This is a much better option, to be getting older. And if we're not going forward, then we're stagnant, and we're stuck. And I've been stuck before. And I don't like it. It's not fun."
On her father's death: "My father passed away while I was in the middle of filming. I took time off to do what I had to do with my family. And then I had to go back to work. How if affected my performance I can't tell you, but certainly my father's death will be a part of me forever, and I'm sure it's going to be a part of all of the roles that I play now. It's been a year since he died, and it's been an incredibly transformative year. It's just something that's going to be with me forever."

Hugh Jackman Had a Secret Weapon at the Oscars

Hugh Jackman flew out of LAX yesterday and was greeted by tons of fans in Japan this morning. Hugh's hosting duties and performances landed him in our top 10 favorite Oscar moments list, and on her show yesterday, Oprah Winfrey said it was the best Oscars she's ever seen. The viewers seem to agree - ratings were up 13 percent from last year's show. Hugh opened up to Oprah about how he stayed calm and what he enjoyed most about the big night. Here's more:

On not staying out late afterward: "This was the party for me. I had the time of my life. I keep thinking: 'I'm a kid from the northern suburbs of Sydney; I have no business being here. But what the hell? For three and a half hours, I'm going to have the time of my life.'"
On being backstage: "The thing that touched me the most, when people win . . . the moment they cross over into the wings something incredible happens. They just melt. It just sinks in literally the moment they cross over. It's a very personal, very intense moment. It's almost like it's overwhelming when you see that happen to them. You just feel privileged to be there."
On singing with Beyonce: "After she comes down, I sing from Grease 'I've got chills . . . ,' that's the easiest acting I've ever done in my life. She's singing and I know there's a billion people and everyone in the audience, but I thought it was just for me."
On why he wasn't too nervous: "I had a secret weapon. My secret weapon was sitting in about the sixth row - it was my wife. It's a connection. It takes it off you."

Hugh's wife also passed him notes during the show as she played her own part in making the Academy Awards such a memorable night for everyone.

Angelina and Kate Lead the Ladies Down the SAG Red Carpet

Some of our favorite actresses got glammed up to walk the red carpet at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet were joined by Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto in different hues of blue, which turned out to be the shade of the night. Angelina even stopped to talk to the press - tell us if you like her friendly or b*tchy interview better. Eva Longoria dazzled in another bright award season look, and Amy Adams and Evan Rachel Wood, who seems to be in image overhaul mode, were also on trend in their bright colorful gowns.

Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway and Amy Poehler kept things more simple in white. American Ferrera opted for a neutral tone, and Tina Fey wore one of the evening's only short looks. Emily Blunt added a little sex appeal to things in her sheath and Penelope Cruz looked classy, as always, in a black halter-necked dress. Jake Warms Up Before Dressing Up For the Globes
