Jessica, Rachel and Ryan Have Some Sugar Before Austin

Ryan Gosling, Jessica Alba and Rachel Zoe all made it out to the LA premiere of Sugar last night. The baseball movie has already struck a chord with viewers and critics alike at Sundance and in earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination in 2009. It's been a long road for the film and apparently along the way it's gained some fans in Hollywood who were eager to see the sweet - pun intended - story. From here, Ryan is headed to even hotter climates. His band, Dead Man's Bones is still supposedly performing at SXSW this week.

Lindsay and Samantha Make a Break For Florida

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson headed to Tampa to hit up a few Super Bowl parties on Friday night. The evening began with work for Samantha, who DJed a bash for ESPN, but later it was DJ AM who provided the tunes at the Maxim event she and Lindsay went to with Joel and Benji Madden. Like their last trip to Florida, drama followed. Apparently a fight between the girls broke out when LL was reading Samantha's blackberry but things ended in smiles. Lindsay's spirits might have been unusually high since she was spotted swigging whiskey straight out of a bottle. The girls didn't stick around for the actual football game and were back at LAX on Saturday after Lindsay had a fit with the airline since she almost had to fly coach. Oh the horror.

Denzel, Russell, Not-Retired Jay-Z's American Gangster

One of the most anticipated movies left this year, American Gangster had its big NYC premiere on Friday at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem. Denzel and Russell had their wives on their arms as they showed off their awesome looking collaboration. Also on the red carpet was Jay-Z, who was so very excited about the film that he decided to write a whole album inspired by it. In case you missed it, the first track/video is already out. This certainly means he's not at all retired, and he recently talked to XXL Magazine about just that. He said:

I want to never say that again. Just make the albums, man. And if one day people wake up and it’s four years later, and you haven’t made another, they go, “Wait a minute, you’re retired!” I think that’s best for me. I think I pulled the retirement ripcord too many times. People looking at me like, “Please shut up.” I was looking at Fade to Black the other day. I was embarrassed. I couldn’t watch. I’m not playing with you. I had to turn it off. I was cringing. Like, I’m about to put out another album, man. Another one. Not only was that not my last, I put out another one, and I’m about to put out another one. I wasted a great film! I’m about to make another film, though. Not on retirement, just another film. I want to make a movie with this album. Like a short film, a better Streets Is Watching. I want to get the Hughes brothers to direct it. I’ll be doing a disservice if I didn’t deliver it [American Gangster] in a proper way.

I think it's safe to say that everyone has had more than enough of Jay-Z's retirement merry-go-round, so it's good to hear it's over. Now we can all just focus on his music...and that he seems like one of the cooler people ever. As for the movie, we have to wait two more weeks until the Nov. 2 release, but that's just more time to get excited.

Beautiful Ladies in Black for Hugo Boss

Kristin Davis took a break from filming SatC to be one of the few who wasn't wearing all black to the Hugo Boss event in NYC last night. Julianne Moore and Maggie Gyllenhaal looked beautiful in all black. Maggie's hair was my favorite part of her look with those great wavy curls. According to Bella's original poll, most of you will be thrilled to see that Julianne is a redhead again. The most surprising appearance of the evening was by Kate Winslet. The actress is not usually a part of the NY party scene so I was excited to see one of our favorite actresses looking fab in her LBD.

The Stars Come Out For The Laureus Awards

Celebrities of the sports and acting worlds rubbed elbows last night at the Laureus World Sports awards in Spain. Swiss Tennis star Roger Federer was named sportsman of the year for the third time in a row while Serena Williams took home the comeback of the year trophy. Eva Longoria and Elisha Cuthbert might not have been up for any awards, but they made a glamorous showing for their sportsmen, fiancé Tony Parker and boyfriend Sean Avery.

The Men Are Back in Black at the Critics' Choice Awards

While the women went for the gold, the men hit the red carpet in a very traditional black look at the Critics' Choice Awards. Could this be what we should be expecting tonight at the Golden Globes? K-Fed Gets Down to Details

Britney may have dumped K-Fed but it doesn't look like he's going away anytime soon. Last night he was at the Details Magazine Insider Party along with Michael Vartan, Daniel Dae Kim and a few Laguna Beach alums. Kevin is trying to change his image, ditching his wife-beaters for blazers (or sweater coats) and trying to act a little more sophisticated. Still, that's going to be hard to keep up for long. K-Fed is going back to wrestling to pay his hefty legal bills. He plans to have a rematch with Cena on WWE on New Year's.

Will Premieres The Pursuit of Happyness

Will Smith was out in Westwood last night to premiere his latest movie The Pursuit of Happyness. He looked dapper as always on the red carpet at the Mann Village Theater. We just can't get over how adorable his son and co-star in the movie Jaden is. Will recently sat down with EW to talk about his new movie and his friendship with Tom... turns out he's a little jealous of Tom's fame. Here's more:

...The conversation has turned to his friendship and rivalry with Tom Cruise, and the actor, ordinarily a perpetual-motion machine, starts answering questions slowly, feeling his way as he tends to do when addressing delicate matters like race, religion, or, apparently, close friends who suffer grand public image crises.

''We never talk about competition,'' says Smith, 38, who's in town visiting with his wife's family for Thanksgiving. ''But we mark ourselves off of each other. Movie stars are becoming extinct, and Tom and I are helping one another.'' It's jarring to hear Smith refer to himself as a movie star. For the past hour or so, he's been effortlessly affable and grounded. With a drab olive sweatshirt drowning his surprisingly lanky frame and his short-cropped hair uniformly flecked with silver, he's more like a gabby favorite cousin than one of the planet's biggest box office draws.

''His wedding was world news,'' he continues, and seems poised to launch into the inevitable defense of Cruise's privacy. ''I love that, but I'm jealous.''

Wait a minute. Jealous?

''I am sooooo jealous of him right now!'' Suddenly, Smith is roaring like a kid who just lost at Mario Kart. ''World news! Iraq and Tom. I'm like, Dude, you're beating on me right now!''

The Pursuit of Happyness will be in theaters December 15th and we can't wait to check it out! Got To Get Helio's Latest and Greatest

The stars stepped out for a Helio launch party in LA last night, and they look pretty excited to celebrate the new gadget, Drift by Samsung. We didn't think Helio could get much cooler but apparently it does - did you know you can read PopSugar on your Helio? We all know how much young Hollywood loves their handhelds, so it makes sense they dropped everything to support the new toy. Kate Walsh has been making the rounds at the parties lately and was at the bash, and so was Nick Lachey's little brother Drew. And who is the mystery lady with James Franco?
