The next crop of celebs who are in the mood to groove has been announced, and as usual it is an interesting bunch to say the least. For the next season of Dancing With the Stars, we've got folks who have been entertaining for years, some good-looking athletes, and even a politico (Tom DeLay!). I don't know who the equivalent of The Woz is this time around, but still, this group will make me tune in for sure. Who will you be rooting for the most?

Ashlee's Looking Pregnant, But Jessica Already Has a Baby?

Ashlee Simpson showed up to perform on Dancing With the Stars last night with both Pete and Jessica out for moral support. While Ash's performing skills have greatly improved (video after the jump) since her SNL panic jig, I must say that most of my attention was on that . . . bump of hers? No doubt she's still a tiny girl, but take a look at these photos - just when I was starting to think she's not pregnant after all, now I'm not so sure. Afterwards, the trio, joined by the Simpson parents, headed off to Katsuya to celebrate, where Jessica picked up a little one of her own. How cute is that kid? Tony wasn't there to share in Jessica's baby love, but seeing how much fun they're having together, maybe they're next in line? Babies for everyone, literally.

Dancing with the Stars: Will You Be Tuning in to UKTV Gold?

I'm a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and as I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms I'm getting excited about the US equivalent. The sixth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered in America Monday night and last night, and UKTV Gold will be showing the series here. As with American Idol, we're going to be trailing a few days behind and will have to wait until the Friday of each week to see the show. Bah.

Although I haven't even heard of some of the contestants, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman are on the judging panel, and I'm interested to see how Steve Guttenberg, Shannon Elizabeth, Penn Jilette and Monica Seles get on. So tell me: am I alone in this, or are any of you going to tune in to UKTV Gold at 8pm on Good Friday?

R2-D2 Makes A Rare Dancing With The Stars Appearance

Wow wa wee wha did I get quite the surprise when I tuned into Dancing With The Stars last night. Who knew that former N'Sync boy band member Joey Fatone was such a Star Wars fan?! Joey and his dance partner Kym Johnson surprised everyone with a tango dance routine to the tune of the Star Wars theme. They even had a little lightsabers fun during rehearsals and brought in R2-D2 for a guest appearance! The dance started with Joey wearing a cloak like a Jedi while holding a green lightsaber. Kim also dressed to impress with her Princess Leia skin clad costume. I thought the tango/Star Wars combo was pulled off remarkably well. Did you happen to catch it? What are your thoughts?
