David Duchovny and Tea Leoni Separate Again

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni announced that they have once again separated, his rep confirmed to PopSugar. David and Tea last split in 2008 but reunited soon after and have seemed to be going strong since early 2009.

David and Tea tied the knot in 1997 and have two kids together, Madelaine, who is 12, and Kyd, who is 9. According to reports, David and Tea have not decided to divorce at this point. In the meantime, David is working on the fifth season of Californication in LA.

David Duchovny and Natascha McElhone Get Cozy to Film Californication

David Duchovny and Natascha McElhone cuddled up for a stroll on the set of Californication in Venice Beach yesterday. The actors are currently working on season five of the Showtime series, and it seems a reunion may be in store for their characters since David and Natascha were also spotted making out on the beach for the cameras Wednesday. David and Natascha had a break from their tumultuous onscreen relationship during their hiatus, giving him time off to attend basketball games and charity events. He was on hand in Santa Monica on Sunday for the Pedal on the Pier fundraiser, which is usually held in NYC's Central Park. David also lent his celebrity to help keep the dog population under control by encouraging people to sterilize their pets. Natascha, meanwhile, enjoyed a few months off with her three sons back near their London home base.

Alicia and Swizz Celebrate a Knicks Win Over the Heat With Kisses and Kanye

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz made yesterday's Knicks vs. Heat game at NYC's Madison Square Garden their own personal date night with lots of kisses and whispers in their court-side seats. The happy parents of 3-month-old Egypt were able to celebrate the home team's win against LeBron James's squad with other fans like Spike Lee, Kanye West, Sam Worthington, and David Duchovny. Alicia and Swizz had an additional reason to party earlier this week, when she turned 30 on Tuesday - she's among the many celebs who are marking that milestone in 2011! She was grateful for all the love she received from fans, and took to Twitter to write, "Thank you so much for all of your birthday wishes! I'm so grateful for your love and another year ahead! Blessings and love to my family!" Her evening of basketball with husband Swizz was their latest fun one out on the town, after they toasted his new job at NYU with a party late last year.

David Duchovny Talks Surprising Himself on Californication

David Duchovny and his Californication castmates gave the Winter TCA some great quotes today, but Duchovny also took a minute to chat about the Showtime series with some reporters. He talked about how he keeps Hank Moody interesting, the heart of the show, and joked about adding in his own bits to episodes.

How do you keep it interesting when you play the same character for years?
David Duchovny: In a way you keep discovering the character. You just kind of remain open to wherever the new storylines are taking you. I'm lucky enough to have really good actors to play along with, not just people who are there every year like Evan and Natasha (McElhone) and Pam (Adlon) and Madeleine (Martin), but people like Carla (Gugino), people like Rob (Lowe), or Kathleen Turner. Actors push one another around into different places. It's kind of an unconscious thing, kind of an instinctual thing. There's a joy in television that's greater than film. It's closer to stagework. In doing something over and over you get to different levels than you would if you had just moved on.

Would you say that Hank is detached?
DD: He is kind of detached. Hank is a guy who doesn't say no, be it drugs, or sex, or experience. What's interesting about him is that he doesn't seek many things out, he's just a magnet that things come to. And in terms of detachment, I think it's true; it's detachment, but an objectivity.

read more. Have you ever been surprised by the direction of the show? DD: I knew what it was all along. I didn't know that [creator] Tom Kapinos was going to be able to bring the heart [out] of the show. I knew it was going to be funny; I didn't know it was going to be so effective. And I'm really happy for that, because that was my main concern in starting the show. I wasn't really interested in just a guy jumping from bed to bed no matter how funny or articulate he was. It just seemed like it would be an empty exercise after a certain amount of time. So I'm really happy for that. I think other part is, the more comfortable that I get as a performer, period, and as a performer playing this role, I open up to different areas as well. That's the fun part. If I can surprise myself, then other people will be surprised as well. Do you ever improv on the show? DD: Not a lot, lines here and there. Scenes have a shape; it's not a long show, 27 minutes or whatever. There's story you have to do, it's not a film where you can stretch out. There's been times where I've added stuff. Buzz: Any bits that have made it? DD: In the first episode, [there's] a line when I'm with Carla. I'm f***ing around, and then I say, no, I know this is important, I'm here for you, I'll "tumble for you." I'll tumble for you is mine, because I'm old enough to remember the song.

The cast and creators of Californication stopped by the Winter TCA in good spirits - it was announced that the show has already been renewed for a fifth season. Star and executive producer David Duchovny sipped champagne on stage with costars Evan Handler, Carla Gugino, Pamela Adlon, and Madeleine Martin and creator Tom Kapinos as they chatted about the show. Amid jokes and expletives, they talked about what to expect in the current season and how they feel about the series. Here are my favorite quotes from the panel.

"It's an honest smell." - Duchovny, expanding on his joke that Hank keeps pulling in women because of his natural pheromones.

After a full day at the TCA panels, the stars of CBS, CW and Showtime stepped out for their star-studded bash. Ed Westwick was a treat to chat with as he represented the Gossip Girl cast. He was eager to talk about the fate of Chuck Bass and even share his thoughts on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The cast of 90210 took a break from their busy Summers to attend as well. AnnaLynne McCord has had a great few months of traveling with her boyfriend Kellan Lutz, but it turns out that Eclipse wasn't her favorite blockbuster of the season - it's a tie between Inception and Iron Man 2 because of their two amazing lead actors! Her costar Matt Lanter has his own Twilight connection after appearing in the spoof Vampires Suck, and he revealed that he read the first of Stephenie Meyers's books "as research." Matt hasn't had the chance to meet Rob, but he would love to one day.

Jerry O'Connell, meanwhile, took a break from promoting The Defenders to gush about his life with the twins and wife, Rebecca Romijn. He says that being a dad of girls is the only way to go! Leo and Charlize Cheer the Lakers on to a Win Over the Celtics

The Staples Center was star-studded last night as famous fans headed out to see the Lakers take on the Celtics in their first playoff game. Leonardo DiCaprio broke from hanging out with Bar Refaeli to join friends sitting courtside, and he was in for a treat as his team clinched their first win with a score of 102-89. Charlize Theron also enthusiastically cheered from the sidelines, while David Duchovny pensively watched the action with a beer. The male stars of Grown Ups congregated together as well, with Chris Rock, David Spade, Adam Sandler, and Kevin James cracking each other up. Jason Bateman and Dustin Hoffman, meanwhile, hammed it up for the Kiss Cam and lip-locked in front of the thousands in the stadium.
