The New 90210ers Party Like Its 1999

The cast of the new 90210 had their premiere party on Saturday in Malibu, and all eyes were on Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty, who both looked fabulous. The young actors may take a few weeks to become household names, but the real question is, will they make a mark in beauty and fashion like the original cast? Let's reminisce about those beauty missteps and start stocking up on the fashion, since you know it's coming back big time. CW Announces Series Renewals and New Shows

Ashton, Kristen and Haylie all came out to support their fledgling network at the CW Winter TCA press tour last week. The network just announced their series renewals and midseason scheduling plans. Veronica Mars will be experimenting with five non-serialized episodes at the end of the season. The CW will also begin streaming episodes of some of its shows including Mars and Ashton's Beauty and the Geek on cwtv.com. Meanwhile, no news doesn't necessarily mean good news for Haylie and 7th Heaven, while CW president Dawn Ostroff failed to specify which shows were being cancelled, it's most likely 7th Heaven will be one of them. But we're sure Haylie will have no problem finding a new home on another show.

How Gossip Girls, 90210ers and Weeds All Met

The TCA fun continued with the CW, Showtime and CBS stars kicking things off on Friday night at Boulevard 3. After hearing the exciting news that Shannen Doherty is returning to 90210, the new cast members kept things young and fresh posing together for the cameras. Emmy nominee Neil Patrick Harris is always a treat to spot, while Mary-Louise Parker spent the night close to her Weeds costar Justin Kirk in her cabana - possibly in an attempt to avoid an awkward run-in with her ex. The most fun of the night included a little chat with Leighton Meester who looked gorgeous in Zac Posen. On how things have changed from last year she said,

"It's really unexpected and amazing. I always wonder where I'm going to be this time next year. I'm thinking about it now - I wondered it last year at the same party. It's been a pleasant surprise, but I do have to say, we're not really changing anything. We're just doing a show that we really love, so we're just gonna keep going."
