All the Lakers Need Are Their Magical Celebrity Fans

The Lakers made it 2-0 against the Orlando Magic in the NBA Finals last night at the Staples Center. Playoff regulars Zac Efron, Adam Levine, and Leonardo DiCaprio were just some of the star-studded fans who watched the nail-biter from the audience. Diddy was decked out, matching his son, while Mark Wahlberg smiled in support. Rihanna was positively glowing from the stands, making it a girls' night out with her friends. American Idol winner Kris Allen, who just signed his record deal, performed the national anthem to the packed crowd as Hollywood's favorite team is halfway to the championship going into game three tomorrow.

MTV Movie Awards Bring Lots of Laughs and Pattinson

Andy Samberg kept the star-studded crowd laughing the whole night at the Robert Pattinson Appreciation Awards, we mean MTV Movie Awards, in LA yesterday. After the gorgeous men and women walked the red carpet, Andy opened the show spoofing the year's biggest movies - from The Reader to Star Trek. Really though, all show long Twilight found its way into almost every segment in some way. There were lots of other funny moments including an homage to movie explosions, a dramatic medley of SNL digital shorts songs which starred Forest Whitaker singing "D*ck in a Box," and Bruno flying through the air and landing on an enraged Eminem. Em did not look happy as he stormed out of the theater afterwards.

It was no surprise that Twilight was the big winner of the night which led to many wonderful moments like the almost Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart kiss, Rob bringing our attention to the happenings in his pants, and Kristen nervously dropping her golden popcorn. Another huge highlight was the exclusive New Moon trailer - looks amazing. It might have been the only moment the theater was quiet in rapture rather than screaming Robert's name at random intervals. There were lots of other happy winners like Zac Efron, Jim Carrey, and Ben Stiller who was presented the Decade Award by a teary Kiefer Sutherland. The Lakers Perform For Their All-Star Fans

The LA Lakers hit the court at the Staples Center for game five of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets last night. The game was close, but the hometown team pulled out the big win. The audience was star-studded as usual including familiar faces like Zac Efron and Jack Nicholson while Ellen Pompeo and MIA had their men by their sides. Kim Kardashian excitedly twittered about heading to the game with Reggie Bush, though she was rooting for her friend LaLa's boyfriend Carmelo Anthony on the Nuggets. The Lakers have the chance to win the series in Denver tomorrow, but if they have to come home for game seven their celebrity good luck charms will be there to cheer them on.

The Stars Come Out to Watch the Lakers Win

Many familiar faces were in the stands yesterday at the Staples Center in LA to see the Lakers beat the Rockets and earn their way to the Western conference finals. Loyal fan Kate Hudson brought Ryder along, joining other celebs like Russell Brand, Nicky Hilton and David Arquette. Adam Levine took a break from romancing Cameron Diaz to sit courtside next to Denzel Washington, who was getting eyed up by Mindy Kaling. Elsewhere, controversial pals Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes had an awkward run-in at the bar. The Lakers win means more star-studded front rows as they take on the Denver Nuggets.

The Lakers Win Means a Jovial Celebrity Crowd

The Staples Center was filled with laughter last night as the Lakers handily beat the Rockets in game five of the Western conference semifinals. Leonardo DiCaprio, who has been a dedicated fan throughout the playoffs, recently showed his loyalty off the court by donating money with Kate Winslet to support Titanic's last survivor. At the game, he chatted with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. Jeremy Piven looked like he had Denzel Washington cracking up while good friends Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler joked around. The Lakers are off to Houston for Thursday's game, which means a less star-studded audience as these diehard fans have front row seats in their living rooms instead.

Leo Puts Himself on the Eco Auction Block

With Earth Day coming up in a week, the actor is launching an eBay auction to support Global Green - prizes include a chance to attend the Shutter Island premiere, Titanic memorabilia, and other items signed by Leo. RDJ grinned from the front row, still looking as sexy and clean shaven as he did at the Oscars. Adam Levine and John Stamos were also in the crowd while Denzel Washington munched on a bucket of popcorn. The celebrity star power proved to be good luck for the loved basketball team, as the Lakers picked up their sixth straight win.

Obama's Inauguration Celebration Kicked Off With a Concert

It was a star-studded lineup that braved the cold in Washington D.C. yesterday to support Barack Obama at the 'We are One' concert at the Lincoln Memorial. U2, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, and Mary J. Blige took the stage with a ton of other celebrity speakers including Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Jack Black and Queen Latifah. Usher gave the President-elect a hug while Michelle, Malia and Sasha enjoyed the entertainment along side the Bidens. Obama addressed the crowd, expressing his gratitude for their support as the celebrations for the inauguration continue to heat up. Jay-Z and Beyonce have been celebrating all weekend long including champagne celebrations with friends on Friday night and her closing performance yesterday. The party looks like it's just getting started and we can't wait to see what else is in store for all of us.

Mark Celebrates Christmas With Family and Basketball

Mark Wahlberg brought his daughter Ella and brother Donnie to see the Lakers beat the Celtics in LA on Thursday evening. As usual, lots of other celebs were there too - Adam Sandler and Kevin James watched things from their courtside seats alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Denzel Washington. Even though Mark spent this part of his Christmas away from the rest of his family, he and girlfriend Rhea Durham recently stocked up on gifts and they probably had a fun morning of unwrapping presents with all three kids before bringing Ella along for sports night.

JT Makes Jokes and Helps Honor Samuel L. Jackson

Samuel L. Jackson was honored by friends and colleagues last night at the American Cinematheque gala in LA. The event was sponsored by AMC, so Jon Hamm was out with his girlfriend to support Mad Men's home network, while JT hammed it up on stage. To help roast his former costar, he said, "I am here because onscreen and off, I feel nothing but love for the great Samuel L. Jackson. At least for tonight that mysterious 'L' stands for 'Love,' man love - and there's nothing wrong with it." Kerry Washington and Denzel Washington were also among the celebrity presenters of the night, but we'll have to watch it on Dec. 9 to see who stole the show.
