The Glastonbury Music Festival is going down in the UK this weekend with an all-star list of performers that includes Coldplay, U2, and Beyoncé Knowles. Beyoncé warmed up with a few shows full of songs from her new album, 4, last week, though the next few days may bring a blast from the past. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams may join Beyoncé for a Destiny's Child reunion during Beyoncé's set on Sunday night! It's been over five years since the group split up, but the girls are apparently still friendly. Beyoncé is a sure thing at Glastonbury, but tell us - would you be excited about a Destiny's Child reunion?

Someone Is Overanalyzing Beyonce's Lyrics

Beyonce's latest album, I Am Sasha Fierce has led Krayon Brooks (nice name!) to pause and analyze her ~~multifaceted personality~~ multiple personality disorder. One minute, she wants you to put a ring on it. In her last album, she was telling someone to put everything in a box and get out. So which is it? When she was in Destiny's Child, she sang a song called "Bills, Bills, Bills," and she wanted her dude to pay them all. But then in the soundtrack to Charlie's Angels, she says she's an independent woman. My favorite contradiction he points out is, "Do you want me to say your name? Or do you want me to shut up?" Krayon, you need to get out more!

Destiny's Child Gets Their Game On

Wow, who knew that celebrity video games would become the latest rage? Square-Enix just announced a new cell phone game called 'Destiny's Child Groove," that will apparently keep us jumpin', jumpin', jumpin' all day. Showcased on CrunchGear the game will feature photos of Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle and include songs like "Survivor," "Bug A Boo," and "Lose My Breath" and my personal favorite, "Say My Name." In "Destiny’s Child Groove," you'll be able to audition to become a backup singer for the group. To play the game you press arrows on the screen which are synchronized to the beat of certain songs. If this game is anything like Dance Dance Revolution, my wildest dreams have come true.

Beyonce's Insecurities

Beyonce has been battling plenty of rumors these days. The most recent have to do with her real age, her wedding, and her jealousy of her Dreamgirls co-star. Luckily for B, she is used to the ups and downs that come along with being famous. However, she wasn't always good at dealing with them. There's definitely been some bad spots, she says. Here's more:

After Beyoncé’s all-girl group, Destiny’s Child, broke up amid wide negative press coverage, Beyoncé admits, “I went through depression. I didn’t eat. I stayed in my room. I was in a really bad place in life, going through that lonely period: ‘Who am I? Who are my friends?’ My life changed.” Among the changes upsetting her was the loss of the boy she loved. “I had the same boyfriend from age 12 until I was 19,” she says. “It was hard for me to let go of him. Now that I was famous, I was afraid I’d never find somebody again to love me for me. I was afraid of making new friends.”

Beyoncé finally decided she had two choices: “I can give up, or I can go on. If love happens, it will happen naturally. I don’t go looking for love. I’m old enough to know who I want to be with.” She has been dating rapper/businessman Shawn “Jay Z” Carter, 36, and when asked if she wants to marry, she says, “Yes. My parents have been married for 27 years, and they’re still in love. That’s a great example for me. I know it’s possible.”

Well, she's obviously back on her feet and found a man like Jay-Z to love her for her. We hope these two get married soon since we'd love to see those wedding pics. In the meantime, to check out more news from the Parade article just

How to Avoid New Mom Comparisons

The comparison game is one new moms know well. Even when we try to avoid the "does your baby do this yet?" questions, it's pretty impossible not to notice when, say, a friend's 5-week-old is smiling and yours isn't. As mom Heather Cianciolo says, "Doesn't every mother compare her kids?"

Blame it on our survival instincts, says Kathy Seal, coauthor of Pressured Parents, Stressed-out Kids: Dealing With Competition While Raising a Successful Child.

"We're hardwired to push our kids to compete. After all, our ancestors' children had to be strong enough to get that last piece of meat or outrun that dangerous animal," Seal says. "It's also natural to want our kids to acquire skills, so we compare for reassurance."

Normal as it is, comparing can be a recipe for stress. It can also prevent us from fully appreciating what our kids are accomplishing. Here are some common comparison traps - and how to sidestep them.

Babies vary widely when it comes to hitting milestones like sitting up, crawling, and walking, which makes this comparison trap a particularly easy one to fall into.

"I remember sitting in music class, watching a 10-month-old demonstrate physical milestones that my 19-month-old was just getting around to. It was hard," says Cianciolo.

As moms, we're encouraged to watch for any development problems or delays and to get help right away with anything we notice. So it's no wonder we're constantly wondering what's normal and what's not.

Sidestep the trap: Research shows that as long as your child is reaching milestones within the normal range, how quickly he reaches them has no bearing on his later skills.

So if your 18-month-old says only one or two words compared to your same-age nephew's dozen, it doesn't mean your child won't eventually gab your ears off.

"Milestone development has very little to do with a child's future potential, so I encourage parents not to worry if their children are late bloomers or seem to be at the outer limits of normal," says Darshak Sanghavi, a pediatrician who's also an assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and author of A Map of the Child: A Pediatrician's Tour of the Body. "It's tempting to think that what a child does when he's young is going to control his destiny, but everyday experiences don't bear this out. We can't determine a child's destiny based on what month they started walking," Sanghavi says. Enjoying your child's current skills and tricks can help ground you in the present and prevent you from fretting about the future.

"It's hard to hear my 15-month-old niece saying more than my 2-year-old daughter. But it helps to focus on the special things my daughter does - like when we get ready to read, she gets the blanket and pillow and sets it all up, which really makes my heart melt," says Kim Lybrand.

Finally, remind yourself that while we can certainly help our children learn new things, we can't force them to reach milestones before they're ready. When we attribute our kids' development to our superior parenting skills, it can come back to bite us.

"When others noticed how well my son got around, I felt like we must have done something great to facilitate his excellent gross motor skills," remembers Jennifer Parker. "But then I'd hear other children speak so clearly, while my son wasn't yet talking at all, and I'd feel like such a bad mom."

Jay-Z wrote a song to honor his newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter! In record time, Jay got together the lyrics and music for "Glory," which even features some audio from the little one.

In the track, Jay refers to Blue as "God's gift" and "the most beautifulest thing in the world." The new dad rapped, "Words can't describe what I'm feeling, for real." He goes on to say "my greatest creation was you." He also writes about Blue's conception in Paris, and alludes to him and wife Beyoncé Knowles having experienced a miscarriage in the past - take a listen below, and check out the full lyrics after the jump.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z Divide and Conquer in NYC

Jay-Z hopped into a waiting car in Tribeca yesterday while Beyoncé Knowles stepped out separately in a sparkly scarf for a business meeting. Beyoncé has been keeping up her work obligations during her pregnancy, and while she was happy to share her baby news with the world at the VMAs in August, the pair have kept mum on the sex of the child. However, B's good friend and former Destiny's Child groupmate Kelly Rowland said that Beyoncé is having a girl during a recent interview! Jay-Z and B have been staying put in NYC for the most part as they prep for their February due date, but Jay-Z will be hitting the road soon with Kanye West as the pair tour in support of their album Watch the Throne. Jay-Z and Kanye performed together in New Jersey on Sunday, at Madison Square Garden on Monday, and will take their show to Florida next week. Kanye reportedly surprised employees at the Big Apple's Mercer Hotel before Sunday's concert, sending a party bus to pick them up and transport them to the NJ show, giving them complimentary tickets, and personally greeting them when they arrived!
