Nikki and Anna Bring Twilight Sparkle Behind the Camera

Nikki Reed was fresh off her long press weekend supporting New Moon but got dressed up last night to pose with costar Anna Kendrick at MovieLine's Behind the Camera Awards in LA. They joined adorable couple Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger, who's back to focusing on film after her fashion-related party earlier in the week. Nikki and Anna were on hand to honor their special effects editor Susan MacLeod, and Diane came out on behalf of Inglourious Basterds producer Lawrence Bender. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, meanwhile, presented their (500) Days of Summer screenwriters with statues. The event was designed to honor those who labor behind the scenes, but the well-dressed ladies couldn't help but take a little bit of the spotlight.

Blake and Diane Have a Fine Night Out For Chanel

Diane Kruger joined Blake Lively last night in NYC at Chanel Fine Jewelry's annual Fête d'Hiver. Both ladies are longtime fans of the brand, and they sported some special pieces as they posed for photos. Diane is a staple in the fashion circuit and recently was out to support Jason Wu, in LA. For Blake, the event was a break from her double duty work filming both The Town and Gossip Girl while also promoting The Private Lives of Pippa Lee with magazine interviews.

Diane Kruger Joins Fellow Wu Girls Jessica and Lily

Diane Kruger joined Jessica Stroup and Lily Collins in LA last night to preview Jason Wu's Spring 2010 collection at Neiman Marcus. It was a special night about fashion for Diane, who's been busy with movie events like the Santa Barbara Film Festival and the Hollywood Awards. She opened up about how perfect Jason's dresses are for hitting the red carpet, and his gowns should come in handy with all the press she'll have to do for her upcoming projects.

Charlize, Sandra, Bradley Kick Off Award Season in Hollywood

The red carpet was brimming with beautiful stars in LA last night at the Hollywood Awards Gala, which is referred to as the first stop of award season. Charlize Theron was fresh off her trip to SF and looking hot, while Kate Beckinsale was also sexy in black. Diane Kruger held down the angelic side in white, and newlywed Zooey Deschanel stuck with her standard cute look. Hilary Swank posed after her Amelia had a disappointing opening weekend, though she took home the Best Hollywood Actress statue for her work in the film.

Inside the event, Sandra Bullock, Morgan Freeman and Zachary Quinto entertained the crowd from onstage. Julianne Moore had a big night, taking home Best Supporting Actress honors for her work in Tom Ford's directorial debut, A Single Man, and Bradley Cooper won the Hollywood Comedy Award. It was just three short years ago that Lindsay Lohan won the breakout actress award at the show, which finishes up the Hollywood Film Festival - pretty interesting. This year, though, the accolade went to Carey Mulligan for her work in An Education. With the announcement of Ricky Gervais as the host of the Golden Globes, award season is underway and we're starting to get a look at whose names will be gracing the nominees' lists.

Diane Celebrates Quentin's Excellence in Film

Diane Kruger was in Santa Barbara last night to present her Inglourious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino with the fourth annual Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence at the city's film festival. It was Diane's second big ceremony of the week, after getting dressed up to salute the women of Hollywood on Monday evening. Diane posed for a few photos solo before heading inside, where she took the stage to say a few words about her friend and colleague.

Katie and the Women of Hollywood Celebrate With Elle

The Elle Women in Hollywood Awards brought out some of the town's biggest names last night. The ceremony was held to coincide with the magazine's similarly themed upcoming issue, and cover girl Katie Holmes hit the cream carpet to show her support. Apparently Suri helped Katie select her all-black outfit, and the proud mom even opened up about their adventures in Boston. Katie commented that, "She loves clothes and picks out her own. . . . She loves running and she loves dancing." Cat Deeley and Robin Wright also opted for dark dresses, while Renee Zellweger, Diane Kruger, and Emily Blunt lightened things up a bit.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski made another appearance together after their weekend trip to the Mill Valley Film Festival, as the happy engaged couple gets more comfortable stepping out side by side. She said a few words onstage before posing for photos with the evening's host, Alec Baldwin. Renee Zellweger flashed a big smile, perhaps due to her romantic few days in Vancouver with Bradley Cooper. Robin Wright mingled with Benicio del Toro, as the ladies got together to enjoy fun company and champagne.

Diane and Jared Are Two Somebodies in Venice

A few of the cinema event's big names, like George Clooney and Matt Damon, have already moved on to promote their films back in North America, but Diane's still keeping the star factor high in Italy.

Diane Puts Her Modeling Moves to Good Use in Interview

Diane Kruger put on a military hat for an appropriately-themed photo shoot in October's Interview to chat about her work in Inglourious Basterds. It's the same issue that features a retro-looking Chace Crawford and edgy Natalie Portman so Diane's images are similarly slick and styled. She also opened up about her past in modeling, her looks, and life with Joshua Jackson. Here's more:

On why she stopped modeling: "I’ve got to tell you, the reason I stopped modeling was because I wasn’t pleased with trying to portray something that is impossible to reach. Even when I do photo shoots now for films, I’m just not interested in trying to look my best all the time anymore. That pursuit of an impossible perfection seems ridiculous to me now. I’d rather show my vulnerabilities or my doubts than try to be something that no one is."
On if she thinks she's too pretty to be taken seriously: "No, and that’s a silly thing to say anyway. Because, first of all, you sound like an ass if you say that. Brad Pitt seems to have no problem getting parts that he wants, nor does Angelina Jolie. Not that I’m saying I look like either of them, but I just don’t think that it has anything to do with that. It’s the emotions or characters you are able to take on that will get you work, not necessarily the way you look. Obviously, beauty can open doors - it is Hollywood, after all - but that’s not enough."
On feeling like she and Josh live under a microscope: "No, not at all. I say that because I refuse to be living in a bubble. I’m sorry, I cannot live my life sipping cocktails at the Chateau Marmont. Neither he nor I were raised that way. We come from really lower-middle-class families. I don’t know how I could portray those people in movies if I didn’t know what reality is anymore. I refuse that."

Diane Talks to Dave Ahead of Possible Inglourious Prequel

Diane Kruger stopped by The Late Show last night in NYC, appearing after Britney Spears read off the Top 10 list in a bikini. The actress talked about sleeping in cars with Joshua Jackson during a road trip in Australia and what it's been like to spend time in his hometown, Vancouver, as he shoots Fringe. She also promoted Inglourious Basterds while Dave flirted away - and made one rather timely dig at Jerry Seinfeld. The movie premieres in just two days, and Quentin Tarantino says he already has tons of material for a prequel, but it will be dependent on the film's success. Brad Pitt has apparently already expressed interest in signing on, and this could give Diane another opportunity to be one of the boys.

Basterds Hits NYC With Help From Diane, LL, Chace and More

It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars - minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family - gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan. Diane Kruger was once again one of the boys with the mostly male cast. This weekend's NY Times put a lot of pressure on this movie to help salvage the reputation of the Weinstein Company and this weekend we'll see if all the promotion from Diane, Brad, Eli, BJ, Quentin and more is enough to lure people out to see the ambitious film.
