Jennifer Aniston left the date we're used to seeing her with — John Mayer — back at home and stepped out with a different famous face on Saturday night. Diane Keaton was her dinner partner at Madeo in Hollywood. Of course, Jennifer's hair looked fabulous as ever while Diane was unmistakable in her hat.
Sugar Bits — Writers Won't Picket Grammys; Show Goes On
- The Writers Guild has ruled that their striking writers will not picket the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, which means that celebrities are free to attend and perform at the show. This is a good sign for the Oscars!
Katie's Double Date Night and NASDAQ Morning
Tom and Katie put on their best sunglasses (you know, because NYC is so bright even after sunset) to meet up with Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld for dinner last night. The Seinfelds decided to dress down a bit for the occasion, but luckily Tom and Katie were fancy enough for all. The foursome didn't make a late night of it though, because Katie got up bright and early this morning to join her Mad Money co-stars in ringing the bell to open NASDAQ in Times Square.
Katie's the Queen at the Mad Money Premiere
Katie Holmes continued her stunning streak with another fabulous look at the premiere of her latest movie Mad Money. Katie loves her strapless beaded Armani dresses and although Posh is clearly her inspiration, maybe it should be vice versa. As for Mad Money, while the flick looks a bit ridic, it does include Oscar winner Diane Keaton and nominee Queen Latifah so maybe there's something we're missing.
Eva, Kerry, and Brittany Have a Night of Hope
Last night in LA, fabulous ladies came out for L'Oreal Paris and Harper's Bazaar's A Night of Hope party. Eva looked like a fancy valentine on the red carpet getting all cozy with cute Kerry Washington. Bella wants to know what you think of Brittany Murphy as a brunette, but overall her looks seems a little too severe.
The Ladies Come Out for the Crystal/Lucy Awards
Movie and TV stars came together to celebrate one other for 2007 Crystal/Lucy Awards which honors women in film and television. At the show Renee Zellweger admitted to being a fan of Grey's Anatomy, calling the show "smart, well written with great acting." Sara Ramirez then complimented Renee saying she is "an amazing actress."
Diane Keaton Gets Honored
Last night Diane Keaton was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and many of her past co-stars came out to show their support. Diane looked beautiful thanks to ditching her signature hat and pant look. Well done Diane!
Tom Keeps a Close Eye on Katie's Mad Money
Even though these days Katie Holmes is best known as Tom Cruise's wife (and Suri's Mom, obvs), she's looking to get back to that acting thing that made her famous in the first place. Don't get to thinking, though, that Tom will let his beautiful young bride pick just any movie -- oh no, there will be no love scenes for Mrs. Cruise. After appearing in 2004's Batman Begins Katie reportedly gave up her role in the sequel, thanks in no small part to Tom's urging, in order to make Mad Money a female buddy movie co-starring Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton.
Liv Tyler Gets Smothered
Just a few years ago the closest that Dax Shepard had probably come to scoring with a lead actress was getting naked in front of Jessica Alba on Punk'd. But times they are a changing and now he's a leading man and making out with Liv Tyler on the set of their new film, Smothered. In the movie Dax plays a man who is fired from his job only to have to deal with his mother (Diane Keaton) moving in with him and his wife (Liv) pressuring him for a baby.
Because Mandy Says So
It seems as if everyday we see new pictures of Mandy and DJ AM, but last night at the premiere of Because I Said So, she walked the red carpet solo. It was more of a girls' night out with her fabulous co-stars including Diane Keaton and Piper Perabo. Even though the emphasis should be on the movie and these wonderful actresses, we've got more news on Mandy and her dating dislikes.
