PopSugar's Fall Favorite TV Picks

Tonight some of our favorite shows are returning and since Fall TV is officially here, enjoy my list of favorite new shows to watch. Sorry I am a bit late but considering Buzz has already dished on all her picks including, 5 to watch, 5 to skip and 5 she's on the fence with we know you have been very well informed already. The good news is Buzz and I agree on 4 out of her 5 to watch (sorry Reaper - we're just not that into you). The 4 shows we are obsessing over are Pushing Daises, Dirty Sexy Money, Chuck and Gossip Girl (the latter two brought to us by the genius Josh Schwartz who made our dreams come true).

Chuck was the first show I started crushing on. The adorable Zachary Levi as a geeky guy who gets pulled into an Alias-like life just instantly grabbed my attention.

However, even cuter than Chuck is an equally dorky guy named, Ned. The pie maker from the fairy tale show, Pushing Daisies, is literally the sweetest character on TV this fall. Unlike most gratuitous sex scenes and phrases on TV these days, this show has a great story line about a couple who can't even touch yet it's very heartwarming.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is Dirty Sexy Money. Peter Krause from Six Feet Under is now a lawyer for one of the richest families in NYC. It's hard to not get sucked into the life of the rich and well, the richer.

Which then leads us to Gossip Girl. High school. Rich kids. Josh Schwartz. Beautiful clothes and hair. What more could you want in an hour of TV? We're two episodes in and already talking non-stop to our friends about Team Serena vs Team Blair.

While all my shows may have a theme of dreamy men or rich Manhattenites, it's way more than that. Just trust me. As for a favorite 5th. The jury is still out. I want to like Big Shots but the pilot was way cheesy so it doesn't make the cut. I also want to like Private Practice but based on last night's episode, we're not so sure it's gonna happen. We're holding out that Cashmere Mafia is the 5th show but I have yet to see the pilot so I can't officially add it to the list.... yet.

Dirty Sexy Premiere

One of the new shows I'm most excited about is without a doubt Dirty Sexy Money. It has everything I love on TV (mostly). A Baldwin? Check. A Sutherland? Check. Actors from favorite TV shows of the past? Check (Samaire Armstrong, aka Anna from The OC), check (Peter Krause, aka Nate from Six Feet Under). Scandal, intrigue, decadence, moral conundrums? Check, check, check, check. I can't wait - and last night's LA premiere of the show just makes me even more anxious for Wednesday! The young star of the show, Chloe Moretz, sure knows how to work a red carpet already, doesn't she?

ABC Dramas have a lot of Big Shots

Along with all the gorgeous women joining ABC's prime time, there will be plenty of eye candy for the ladies as well. The male version of Sex and the City is called Big Shots and stars Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina. In the pilot these four CEOs sit around in a steam room bitching about their lives when Dylan's character finally says, "Men, we're like the new women." Talk about a guilty pleasure! Then there is the most hyped show of the season, the Grey's spin off, Private Practice. While everyone else is focusing on Kate Walsh, we'll lust after Taye Diggs who will get another shot at ABC prime time. For lots of upcoming PP and Grey's secrets, click here.

Peter Krause stars in Dirty Sexy Money where he plays a lawyer who takes over his dead father's job as personal counsel for an uber-rich dysfunctional family. The creator of the show, Craig Wright, said it was inspired by the Dallas or Dynasty models but more updated. Ex-OC and Entourage star, Samaire Armstrong also joins the cast as the blonde bratty socialite that many are already comparing to Paris Hilton. Hilary, Lucy and January Step Out For Manolos

Nothing brings out the ladies quite like shoes and Manolo Blahnik was just the man to do it with his Rodeo Walk of Style party in Beverly Hills Thursday night. Hilary Duff posed pretty while Lucy Liu possibly eyed some new footwear for her role on Dirty Sexy Money. January Jones stepped out of her Betty Draper Mad Men wardrobe for the event though she was still glowing from their Emmy win. With another new episode tonight, I can't wait to see where it picks up with all the season two drama.

Victoria's Secret Thinks Rihanna Is Sexy

Rihanna packed up her little leopard print suitcase and headed back to LAX yesterday. We find it hard to believe that she managed to fit all of her stuff into such a small bag, but kudos to her if she really is a light packer. Rihanna knows how to make a many-layered outfit look hot, and we're not the only ones who have noticed - the pop star scored the title of Sexiest Female Musician on Victoria's Secret 2008 What is Sexy? list. She and Chris Brown both got named on the list, but after recent rumors maybe next year they'll be up for sexiest couple.

TCAs Get Private, Dirty, Desperate and a Little Bit Grey

Some of the big names at ABC hit the stage at the TCAs in LA this afternoon. Even though there was no specific Grey's Anatomy panel, the show was still the first thing on everyone's mind when Shonda Rhimes entered the room - check out all of that on Buzz. Sigh, love Peter Krause. As for Desperate Housewives, Eva's haircut is adorable in person, she got it since she was told to get a "mom" cut and didn't want to wear a wig, and we should expect to see her looking glamorous again by mid season. Mark Cherry also jokingly admitted how the 5 year flash forward got out, "I made the mistake of telling one of my actors, and the next thing I read it in the Times, going, 'Damn it, Marcia.'"
