Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell each had a twin on their hip in LA yesterday. The parents stopped by an indoor playground with their daughters, Dolly and Charlie, who looked adorable in matching t-shirts. Rebecca recently chatted about her 2-year-olds during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, saying that, though her kids could not have more distinct personalities, they're both daddy's girls. The busy mom has been sticking to the small screen since the birth of her children, but she made her mark in movies like 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. The film's prequel, X-Men: First Class, comes out next month, with Jennifer Lawrence taking over Rebecca's former role of Mystique in what is anticipated to be one of the best action flicks of the Summer.

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn took their daughters Charlie and Dolly out for frozen yogurt in Calabasas, CA yesterday. The twins just turned two-years-old last month, and Jerry talked to us about their exciting birthday party backstage at the People's Choice Awards. He was thrilled to share a sweet picture from the event, which left the girls exhausted after a long day of celebrating. Jerry has more than just fatherhood on his plate now that his hit TV series, The Defenders, is back on the air after CBS green-lighted their full season.

Seeing Double, Rebecca Romijn Chimes in on Dressing Twins

Double dressing? Lots of moms outfit their adorable duos in identical attire, but actress Rebecca Romijn isn't one of them. When we asked if she dressed her daughters alike, she said:

I like to coordinate them, but I don't like to match them. It's funny because I know they are seconds away from having very strong opinions on what they wear so I'm taking advantage of these last few months where I dress them how I want. I usually give them choices and say, "Do you want to wear this or that?" and they pick.

The model mom said comfort and ease are the priorities when outfitting Dolly and Charlie O'Connell. Rebecca Romijn Wonders When Motherhood Gets Easier

Rebecca Romijn is 16 months into motherhood and enjoying the first leg of the lifelong journey with twin daughters Dolly and Charlie O'Connell. "There's nothing dainty or delicate about these girls," the actress said during our recent interview. "But they are little princesses and we love them so much," she added. The former model and her husband, actor Jerry O'Connell are keeping their children's birth order under wraps, but she was candid when it came time to chat about being a mom.

LilSugar: Fill in the blank. You know you’re a mother when ____.
Rebecca Romijn: You know you're a mother when you feel yourself into the embrace of your baby for the first time and it's immediate. It happens as soon as they're born and it's an honor.

LilSugar: Fill in the blank. Why didn’t anybody tell me _____ about motherhood?
Rebecca Romijn: Why didn't anybody tell me that it continues to be really, really hard. Everyone kept telling me, "Oh don't worry after three months it gets so much easier" and then people go, "After eight months it gets so much easier". I haven't experienced when it gets easier and I have a feeling with twins it's going to be when they are a little bit older.

Rebecca Romijn: To really look at the experience of parenthood and to treat it as an adventure - a really exciting, magical, thrilling adventure. LilSugar: Helicopter mom or free range kids? Rebecca Romijn: I would say a little bit of both. You know with two of them, they are really starting to move around a lot and they are running off in opposite directions so I feel like I really should have eyes on the back of my head and be able to watch both at the same time and be able to run in two different directions at the same time and that's just not possible. But you also want them to learn about boundaries and limits themselves. You have to have faith that they will learn these lessons on their own a bit.

Rebecca Romijn's Twin Daughters Won't Know Who's Older!

Dolly and Charlie O'Connell's parents are keeping a big secret! Rebecca Romijn and her husband Jerry may live public lives, but their 16-month-old daughters are no different from other tots - except they will likely never know which twin is older! We had the opportunity to chat with the model, actress, and mother yesterday while she was promoting Huggies' denim diapers. When asked about the personality differences between her darling duo, she said:

This may sound strange, but we decided before they were born - I had a c-section so they both came out at the same time - that they wouldn't know which one was born first. Technically, one did come out first, but we feel like a lot of twins get to brag -"I was born five minutes earlier. I was born first." and the truth is they shared the womb. We're also curious to see if the one who is older naturally takes on that first sibling role. On their birth certificates, they were born in the same minute. It was a conversation we had with the doctor before they were even born and so far it's worked out pretty well. They are both extremely strong willed and neither of them seems to be in charge of the other at all. They are young and developing their personalities and their relationship with each other so they don't need to know that information. Maybe when they are much older we'll tell them.

Jerry's Stocking Up Before Laying Down the Law

Jerry O'Connell took a trip to a grocery store in Calabasas, CA, earlier this week with his twin girls, Charlie and Dolly. He's had lots of time to bond with his daughters since their birth last December, especially with Rebecca off working on Eastwick - Buzz just took a closer look at her show's upcoming pilot episode here. Jerry's going to be a working parent soon too, as he's just enrolled in law school and has already started taking night classes.

Rebecca and Jerry Bring Dolly and Charlie Out For a Stroll

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn took their twins out for a walk in Toronto on Monday and yesterday his parents came along for a stroll. Both days, Dolly and Charlie were looking cozy in their leopard print stroller built for two. The new parents have had their hands full taking care of the girls while Rebecca works on her new series Witches of Eastwick with Lindsay Price. We'll be seeing a lot more of Rebecca in the Fall when the show premieres, but for now she's fully devoted to her family of four.
