We've just said goodbye to an exciting 2011, and now it's time to look forward to the next 12 months! With another year comes a handful of hot actors whose stars are on the rise. There are some up-and-comers we're particularly excited to follow. Max Irons and Damon Wayans Jr. learned the tricks of the trade from their famous fathers Jeremy and Damon, while Chris Pratt starred opposite another famous dad, Brad Pitt, in Moneyball. Michael Fassbender received critical acclaim for his recent work, and nude scenes, in Shame, and Henry Cavill is sure to captivate audiences with his acting chops and six-pack in Man of Steel. British imports Dominic Cooper and Sam Claflin are noteworthy leading men, while Canadian Suits star Patrick Adams just picked up a SAG nomination for his small screen role. Michelle Williams Sparkles For My Week With Marilyn in NYC

Michelle Williams went with a delicate Erdem dress and Roger Vivier shoes for a screening of My Week With Marilyn in NYC on Sunday evening. She was joined by a few costars for the event, though all eyes were on Michelle on the red carpet and her embodiment of Marilyn Monroe in the film. Michelle debuted My Week With Marilyn in LA last weekend and she'll be making her promotional tour international when she is honored by Queen Elizabeth II at a special palace premiere.

Michelle recently spoke about what drew her to Marilyn, admitting that she knows she's not the only person drawn to the icon. Michelle said of Marilyn, "I have always been drawn to Marilyn, but that doesn’t make me special in any way. She has that magnetism and that draw for so many people, so I read about her when I was young, devouring biographies. I’m most interested in her life before she became Marilyn. For me, the interest wasn’t so much in this larger-than-life personality.”

Chris Evans Has His Captain America and The Avengers Costars by His Side at His Big Premiere

Chris Evans teamed up with his Captain America castmates last night for their premiere at LA's El Capitan theater. The superhero movie also features Sebastian Stan, Hayley Atwell, and Dominic Cooper. Some of Chris's high-wattage costars from his next project The Avengers also walked the red, white, and blue carpet to drum up buzz for their film. Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson attended the debut, as did Chris Hemsworth, with wife Elsa Pataky by his side. We spoke with Chris Evans, who looked dapper in a suit and tie, as he made his way into the movie. He told us he was most intimidated to meet and work with Robert on The Avengers, which brings together many of Marvel's most beloved comic book characters, including Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. Chris also admitted he hated training for Captain America when we caught up with him last weekend, because he had to eat constantly to bulk up and work out with a "relentless" trainer, but clearly the effort paid off!

Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper were spotted together at Barneys in LA yesterday. The duo, who met on the set of the 2008 movie Mamma Mia, had an on-again off-again relationship for two years. They seem to still be on good terms despite a split in 2010, and Amanda moved on to another high-profile romance with Ryan Phillippe. Amanda and Ryan called it quits for good recently after around eight months of dating. London-based Dominic was in Hollywood so that he could attend a gala premiere of The Devil's Double as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival, and Amanda was spotted leaving the afterparty too!

Michelle Williams Mixes Her Marilyn and Valentine Friends

Michelle Williams cozied up to her My Week With Marilyn costar Dominic Cooper last night at a London party for her film Blue Valentine. The duo have been shooting together for the last month, even enjoying a brief cameo from Emma Watson. Ladies man Dominic, though, has had enough time off to make the party rounds and hang out with January Jones. Michelle and Dominic mingled with producer Harvey Weinstein, whose company is behind both the Marilyn Monroe project and the movie they were celebrating yesterday. Harvey, Michelle, and Ryan Gosling are all united in their frustration at Blue Valentine's NC-17 rating, and they're apparently getting a legal team together to battle the label they think is unfair. Michelle, who's looking good with Ryan in their new poster, is also said to be worried that the NC-17 association will diminish their chances at the Oscars next year.

Michelle Williams and costar Dougray Scott walked the streets of London yesterday in characters as Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller filming My Week With Marilyn. Dominic Cooper followed a few steps behind carrying a camera case in the role of Milton Greene, Marilyn's personal photographer. On Friday, we got the first glimpse of Michelle stepping out as the bombshell, though most of you feel her former Dawson's Creek costar Katie Holmes may be more convincing as a retro icon. Marilyn's famous curves and sultry voice raised eyebrows in her day, but it's Michelle's upcoming holiday release Blue Valentine that is currently a bit of a scandal since it was slapped with an NC-17 rating - check out the movie's first trailer.

Leo Has Two Dates For the London Premiere of Inception

He hopes people will be surprised by the highly anticipated and mysterious project, which is already getting tons of award season buzz. Leo's keeping his schedule full beyond the film's release, and he's said to be in talks with Ridley Scott to star in a long-delayed big-screen version of The Wolf of Wall Street.

That said, the phenomenon probably means we can only expect to see more bloodsuckers on the big and small screens, right?
