Best friends and former Scrubs stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison spent New Year's Eve snorkeling off the coast of Maui with their respective ladies, Taylor Bagley and CaCee Cobb. The girls, Donald, and Zach landed on the island last week and spent their afternoon lounging close to their resort on the beach and at the pool. It's been a few seasons since Scrubs left the airwaves, and since then, the guys have moved on to new projects. Zach recently wrapped his role in Oz: The Great and Powerful, while Donald shot a comedy for TV Land, Exes, in addition to planning his upcoming wedding to CaCee.

Zach Braff and his girlfriend, Taylor Bagley, joined Donald Faison and fiancée CaCee Cobb for a walk on the beach in Hawaii on Sunday. The Scrubs costars remain close friends and brought their lovely ladies along for the tropical holiday double date. Before heading to the island, Donald and Zach recorded a hilarious version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" set on a gorgeous sunny LA day, which CaCee shared on Twitter on Christmas day. It was a romance-filled 2011 for longtime loves CaCee and Donald - the two announced their engagement in August and are capping off the year with this sweet getaway alongside some of their closest companions.

The film stars Eric Balfour (along with Donald Faison and Brittany Daniel in supporting roles), but before you go disregarding it due to its lack of huge star power, check out the special effects. The imagery is thanks to filmmaker brothers Colin and Greg Strause, who - after sharing a background in visual effects on every movie from Avatar to 2012 - took on this project using their own equipment. If it sounds low-budget, that's because it was. In fact, the cost was rumored to be only $10 million (chump change for Hollywood wallets). Even so, you'd never guess it from the looks of the preview. Vanessa Hudgens, Kristen Bell, and Mandy Moore walked the red carpet on Friday before heading in to take their seats at the Stand Up 2 Cancer phone banks in LA. The hour-long telethon was broadcast on multiple major networks and streamed across the web, and the effort raised more than $100 million dollars for research in the fight against the disease. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and mom-to-be Christina Applegate, both of whom battled cancer in the past, proudly modeled t-shirts that read "Survivor."

Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the West Coast on Thursday, ready to add her support to the event after attending Fashion's Night Out in London last week. She caught up with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while Rob Lowe joined Diane Lane. Cindy Crawford, and Chuck's Zachary Levi helped in collecting donations, and fresh-from-Mexico Ryan Seacrest also lent his star power to the cause. Contributions to the charity are still being accepted, and they're even open to making good use of Facebook credits!
