Donatella Gets Lindsay and the PYTs to Celebrate Art in NYC

Donatella Versace gathered some friends from the fashion and art worlds in NYC last night for the Whitney Museum Gala. First up was a star-studded dinner, where Taylor Momsen and Mischa Barton mingled with Shakira and Jennifer Hudson. The festivities then moved downstairs for the afterparty, with Lindsay Lohan turning up to make a cameo. We had a quick chat with the newly-minted artistic adviser, who said she was there "for Donatella" - and the duo certainly looked close as they posed for photos. Lindsay said she arrived late for the bash due to her travels, but that she'd be sticking around the city to handle "personal business." LL apparently even opened up later about her rumored hookup with Balthazar Getty, telling Gossip Cop that she'd never do that to Samantha Ronson.

LL managed to avoid any run-ins with Samantha's family as she narrowly avoided Charlotte Ronson. Donatella was truly the woman of the evening as she hung out with Lindsay, Mischa and Shakira and they all checked out a DJ set from Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen.

Rachel Bilson continued making the rounds at Milan Fashion Week last night, getting decked out in black for the amfAR charity dinner. She was joined by Dita Von Teese and Janet Jackson, who posed for photos on the arm of pal Donatella Versace. Kanye West and Amber Rose made one of their first public outings since his VMA debacle earlier this month, with both of them looking as into PDAs as ever with her new lip ring to top it all off. Sienna Hops Across the Pond For Twenty8Twelve at LFW

Kate Moss led the partying for London Fashion Week over the weekend, but yesterday it was Sienna Miller's turn to shine. Sienna headed home to England after debuting her Broadway play After Miss Julie on Saturday in order to be there for her Twenty8Twelve show. She joined her sister Savannah and a canine companion for photos before the presentation, which brought out heavy hitters like Anna Wintour. Sienna and Anna are buddy-buddy after their work together promoting The September Issue, so perhaps the Miller sisters can look forward to some upcoming support in the pages of Vogue.

Rob, Diane, and More Make For amfAR Highlights at Cannes

Another Cannes red carpet lit up today, but this time it was about charity instead of movies as the stars came out for Sharon Stone's annual amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit. After a long night of partying with Brad and Angelina, Joshua Jackson accompanied Diane Kruger to the event, while Paris and Doug represented a different kind of couple. Robert Pattinson didn't need a leading lady on his arm to stand out in another dapper suit and Josh Hartnett also provided some eye candy for the ladies. The festival is starting to wind down, but the celebs still seem to be bringing out their best to the hectic schedule of events.

Jennifer Goes From LA Triathlon to NYC Party For Marc!

Straight from a wetsuit into an evening gown! Jennifer Lopez was dressed to the nines and looking refreshed out in New York City last night, throwing husband Marc Anthony a birthday party on the same day she completed her triathlon in Malibu. Looks like the foot injury that made her bail on judging the Project Runway finale really isn't slowing her down any - though there are other rumors as to why she pulled out. Jennifer has long been planning this big 40th b-day bash for her husband, which included a costume change during the night celebrating with their friends including Brooke Shields, Donatella Versace, Kimora Lee Simmons, and more. Jennifer Lopez Talks About All Her Babies

Jennifer Lopez looks gorgeous and glamorous on the cover of the September issue of Elle, but the real fun is in the photo shoot inside the magazine. J Lo got to play dress up along with some of the biggest names in fashion, getting fancy yet flirty with the likes of Marchesa, Michael Kors and Donatella Versace. In the article she gushes about her favorite designers but also opens up about her family. Here are highlights:

On not being able to get pregnant right away: “We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us-I had been checked, and he had kids already. I knew something’s not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it’s going to happen.”
On first realizing she was pregnant: “I was sitting down doing hair and makeup and I felt a flutter. The weirdest little…flourish. My makeup artist said ‘What’s the matter?’ I didn’t say anything, but in my head, I was like, I have life inside me!”
On motherhood: “I don’t know if I’m going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don’t want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day."

On shooting in Washington Heights with Oscar de la Renta: “We were in the hoody! All kinds of locals hanging around, eating out of paper bags, thinking, what’s going on here? It was crazy.”
On being pregnant and commissioning a book of photos of herself for Marc two weeks before giving birth: “I was like, How am I going to rock this moment of my life?... I felt very womanly. Marc was in a dream. He loved it.”

It's a tough job being a mom and a fashionista, but Jennifer seems to have figured out the delicate balance. While she might not have any help with her twins, she obviously has plenty of designers in her corner to keep her looking so fabulous.

Donatella Just Wants to Gossip About Halle

Leighton Meester reaped one of the more fashionable benefits of starring on Gossip Girl, posing with Donatella herself at the Versace Menswear Launch at Barneys in NYC yesterday - get Leighton's look here. Donatella left her adorable furry friend at home for the event and seemed to be more interested in weighing in on Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry's new baby. She hasn't met little Nahla yet, but is already making predictions about her beauty, saying, "I cannot imagine a better looking baby than this one." Maybe Donatella will have the whole family over soon - just don't expect it to be at the Versace villa in Lake Como.

Josh Hartnett Is Huge in Germany

GQ celebrated its men of the year German style last night with an awards show in Munich. The festivities might not be as exciting as those in the states, but there were still plenty of international hot men to drool over. Diane Kruger was one of the few ladies among the honorees even though her own yummy boy Josh was nowhere to be found. Luckily another Josh was there to keep her company. In fact that Josh (we're talking Hartnett here) snagged an award for International Film Star. Now if he'd just lose that icky goatee and mustache combo, maybe next year he'd have a better shot at winning Man of the Year.

Fashion Rocks London and Celebrity Party People

Music and fashion collided again at last night's Swarovski Fashion Rocks concert in London. September's NY Fashion Rocks was a different affair, but last night's party was just as star studded. This one played host for quite the group - from movie stars like Naomi, Liev and Uma to supermodels like Naomi (in her crazy unnecessarily see through dress) and bang-y Kate to musicians like Joss Stone and Iggy Pop. Um, I just hope Uma knew how sheer her dress was when she left the house. The musical invitees performed as couture showed on the runway and the rest of the room enjoyed the show. Must have been an incredible party inside. Talk about the most glamorous of rock star lives. Oh to be a fly on that wall, right?
