It's All About the Hats at the Kentucky Derby
This Kentucky Derby was full of highs and lows this weekend as the usual slew of celebrities donned their finest hats and preppiest suits to catch the big race. Naturally Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were there and looking ridiculous and even Adrian Grenier cleaned up for the big day — well, kind of. Nick Lachey, his brother Drew and Joey Fatone hosted the after party and didn't look too emotionally scarred by having to see the runner up horse Eight Belles have to be euthanized on the track immediately after breaking both her ankles finishing the race.
Nick Plays Chaffeur Now, Reality Show Host Later
Nick Lachey was nice enough to lend his LAX expertise to Drew and his family, dropping them off for a flight on Friday. He'll have to cut back on his busy life of jet-setting now that he's got a new gig all lined up. Nick's Summer plans include hosting a High School Musical-type reality show.

The cast of Speed Racer saw a perfect opportunity to promote their film at the 2008 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in Long Beach on Saturday. Left over weekend news and a reason to laugh after the sad real life event that is taking place today. Reality television's finest came out to Dance to Erase MS this weekend at the Century Plaza. The stars walked the runway to raise awareness and cash for multiple-sclerosis treatment and research.

Tommy Hilfiger and friends put on the Dance to Erase MS as part of the 14th Annual Race to Erase MS gala this weekend. The crowd was mostly full of celebs famous for some reality TV show. It's sad for Tara that she once was a cute movie actress but after her failed attempt for a comeback with Taradise, she now fits into the reality TV star category.
Nick Takes to the Sky, Gets Sued (Unrelated Story)
Judging from how full the Lachey brothers' backpacks are, I assume they weren't stuck reading the Skymall catalogue on the plane wherever they were flying this week. Nick also looks to be involved in a pretty intense pre-flight phone call, and considering he's on the receiving end of a new lawsuit, can't say I blame him. He and his friend AJ DiScala (among others) are being accused of breach-of-contract by a woman who claims she was written out of her contract as part owner of the ABA team the celebs bought last summer.
Nick and Drew Go To The Parc
The Lachey Brothers went out on the town, Parc nightclub to be exact, in LA this week. Drew's wifey made the trek out (and left the baby at home, I imagine) but Vanessa didn't. There were recent rumblings of trouble in that paradise, but it sounds like things are on more solid ground these days.
