Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Talks About His Mesmerizing Pecs and Teenage Hijinx

Giant butterflies, miniature elephants, and hidden ruins spring to life in 3D form in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Returning for the sequel Josh Hutcherson shares the big screen with newcomers to the franchise Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vanessa Hudgens. I sat down with Dwayne at a recent press day in Honolulu where he shared what it was like shooting on location in Hawaii, where he grew up, and how he mesmerizes ladies with his rock solid pecs. Muscles were a hot topic with "The Rock" who also filled me in on his number one fitness tip. Check out our interview and catch Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in theaters on February 10.

In Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth, Josh Hutcherson is back in the starring role as adventurer Sean Anderson, a young man on an exciting trip of epic proportions. The mission at hand? To find Sean's grandfather Alexander (Michael Caine), a famed explorer who went missing during his journey for Mysterious Island, a place that may be linked to the lost city of Atlantis. To round out the crew of this quest, Sean and his stepfather (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) enlist the help of two tour guides (Luis Guzman and Vanessa Hudgens). After some hijinks and a crazy helicopter crash, the four arrive at Mysterious Island, a fairly utopian and Avatar-looking spot that is also full of dark jungles and terrifying creatures.

While Journey 2: The Mysterious Island looks like a sweet and silly movie, it's definitely geared toward kids. However, I'm down to follow Hutcherson just about anywhere, since I can only think of him as Peeta (his role in the upcoming The Hunger Games). Fast Five Trailer: Hit the Gas or Pass?

The trailer for Fast Five has zoomed into your world, and it is predictably both fast and furious. The fifth movie features original pair Brian and Dom (Paul Walker and Vin Diesel) on the run again in Rio de Janeiro for a final job. This time, there's another beefcake in town who wants to take them down - Dwayne Johnson (you'll always be The Rock to me, The Rock) plays a cop intent on snagging the two heads of the gas-pedal gang.

It's what you'd expect from big number five: running, jumping, driving, muscle cars. I have no doubt that it'll be a thrill ride for fans of the franchise (who should also be pleased to see Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris reprising their roles). But if you're not entranced by the high-octane energy of the preview, you'll find a lot to make fun of - at one point, one character utters, "This just went from mission impossible to mission in-freakin-sanity." You can't make these lines up, people. But let me know which side you fall on for this movie - are you ready to take another fast and furious spin, or are you staying far away from this one?

Faster Trailer: The Rock Is a Man With a Plan

Can you smell what The Rock is cookin'? Spoiler alert: it's a revenge thriller called Faster. I do realize that Dwayne Johnson no longer goes by his wrestling moniker, (because he's now a real thespian), but his new and old personas are somewhat merged in this action role. He plays an ex-con with one purpose: to pick off the men who murdered his brother, one at a time. Hot on his trail are Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, and Lost's Maggie Grace (AKA new Breaking Dawn cast member).

It does look like your typical chase flick, complete with a flashy car and high-speed sequences (hence the name). Movie Preview: Wahlberg and Ferrell Are The Other Guys

Cop Out may have missed the mark, but coming this August, we'll have another buddy movie ready to try law enforcement - and dare I say, I think it looks funnier. Titled The Other Guys, the film teams Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell as underdog partners. Overshadowed by their squad's all-stars (played by Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson), they try to prove themselves as an equally capable duo only to get caught up in hijinks.

While the setup itself doesn't sound like anything revolutionary, Ferrell and Wahlberg as an odd couple has me sold. Ferrell is doing his usual schtick here, but it's really refreshing to see Wahlberg continue to do comedy since I love him in Date Night (especially when he's acting like a wacky . . . um, peacock?). Kate, Nicole and Eva Share the Spotlight With CNN's Heroes

Anderson Cooper was the man of the evening on Saturday as he hosted the annual CNN Heroes Awards. The ceremony honored ten individuals who go above and beyond with their contribution to the world, and each was introduced to the crowd by a celebrity guest. Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, and Eva Mendes were a few of the ladies on hand to do the honors, while Carrie Underwood performed. The evening's biggest award, CNN's Hero of the Year, went to Efren Peñaflorida because of his efforts to bring education to underprivileged children in the Philippines. Kate and Nicole took the evening off from promoting Nine, though they were both out again last night for the American Music Awards. The ladies were joined by other actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and we'll be able to see the whole show when it airs Thanksgiving evening.
