Did You Watch George Clooney on ER Last Night?

George Clooney returned to ER last night alongside his onscreen love, Julianna Margulies. As the final season winds down, George paid homage to the character that made him a star as he slipped back into Dr. Ross's scrubs. Most of you said you'd tune in if he came back, but did you end up watching George's return to ER yesterday?

In case you were still skeptical about George Clooney's return to ER, here's some photo proof for you. He suited up in his scrubs and badge yesterday to film his upcoming appearance on the show. It's been 10 years since we've seen George as hot Dr. Ross, but he still looked handsome as ever on his way back to the hospital. Most of you said you'd be tuning in when George makes his return, and we're sure the show will get plenty of ratings love for its most famous original cast member.

Would You Watch ER If Clooney Came Back?

We've heard a lot of back and forth on whether or not George Clooney will return to ER for an appearance in the final season, and apparently it's still up in the air. The topic was brought up again at the TCAs this week, with executive producer John Wells weighing in. He said, "George is very busy, he’s very handsome and he’s just finishing up in PR on a film. We’ve talked about it a couple of times. He’s George, we’ll be shooting down there if he comes by and wants to do something we’ll do something. George loves practical jokes, so who knows." So tell us - would you watch ER if Clooney came back?

George Clooney winked at photographers in the Detroit airport yesterday where he's filming scenes for his new movie, Up in the Air. Earlier in the week, George was in serious but gracious spirits talking to Larry King about his trip to Darfur and meetings with the President and Vice President. Clooney's kind nature extends to his friends as well - he has been letting David Beckham live at his Lake Como villa while he plays for Milan. Lucky Becks! While we dream of being handed those keys, there's more George coming our way when his ER episode airs March 12.

Stamos to Revive ER

Sexy Stamos is said to be making his way back in the ER. He had a guest role earlier this season as Tony Gates, a paramedic who also is a medical student and a Gulf War veteran and he will now join the cast in their 13th season. I wonder if even Stamos can bring this show back to life. E! Online reports that John was waiting to join the cast once things with his ABC show, Jake in Progress, were figured out. While his other show has not officially been cancelled it was pulled after one episode and has yet to make it back on the schedule which is a shame because it was a fun show and we really likes John on it. As for ER, this show needs something new to bring it back to life but since Grey's Anatomy has become my medical drama of choice these days, I don't think even John's joining ER will make me tune back into NBC.
