Ben Lets Casey Have the Spotlight

A very tan Ben Affleck and his brother changed from one set of suit jackets into another for an Esquire dinner party in Casey's honor in London last night. The boys are overseas doing a UK promotional tour of Gone Baby Gone and Ben's protective pose with Casey shows how close these two really are. We have a feeling the boys spend plenty of time goofing around with each other, but in a recent interview, Ben made it clear that it was all business on the set. He told the Daily Mail:

My brother Casey [who stars as a private detective] isn't in the movie because of who he is. Nobody who sees the film could possibly think that. It was my job to help Casey flourish. I knew that he would be great and that he was going to surprise people. When you are working with your brother, there is always the risk that the discussions could degenerate [into rows]. But we both knew we had to take it seriously.

Right from the start, Ben has assured us that Casey's role in the film was more than just a favor but the fact that he's still driving the point home shows that a big brother's work is never really done.

British Style Awards Bring Pretty Dresses & Women

UK fashionistas were out in full force last night to celebrate the British Style Awards in London. Thandie Newton, who loves a good fashion party, was there, along with an unusually sophisticated looking Kelly Osbourne and Lily Allen, in a dress by her date Giles Deacon. It was a big night for pregnant Stella McCartney, who won Designer of the Year, while Agyness Deyn was crowned Model of the Year. Savannah Miller represented Twenty8Twelve, while Sienna vacations with Rhys in Mexico City. Dita von Teese was there to show not only the British have style (though I'm not loving her dress). Fab wants to know - are you loving or hating these ladies' looks?

Stylish People Head to London For Even More Fashion Fun

New York Fashion Week wrapped up last Friday, but the shows continued in London over the weekend. Kanye West and his girl Amber Rose crossed the ocean to observe things from the front row, starting with Vivienne Westwood's Red Label on Saturday and Richard Nicoll on Sunday. Earlier today, Kanye and Amber were up early to check out Luella alongside the father of Kate Moss's daughter, Jefferson Hack. Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah presented their twenty8twelve collection on Sunday, heading to the Whiskey Mist club afterward to celebrate their success with The Killers' Brandon Flowers and their parents Ed and Jo. Golden Age of Models Celebrate Golden Age Of Couture

Glamor reined last night in London as some of the greatest models ever got together to celebrate at the Victoria & Albert Museum's Golden Age of Couture Party. Eva, Claudia, Elizabeth and Kate all looked simply gorgeous, but my girl Fab wants to know who do you think wins the Battle of Old School Supermodels? New school fashion sweethearts like Agyness Deyn and Thandie Newton held their own on the red carpet against the couture titans. I'm sure Miss Anna Wintour (who Fab got a few glimpses of at NY Fashion Week) would have a thing or two to say about all the beautiful red carpet ladies. Hey, maybe even Kevin Spacey could weigh in on the old school vs. new school models? Ha.
