Jason and Mila Screen Extract With Funny People, but No Ben

Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis hit the red carpet last night at the LA premiere of Extract. Their costar Ben Affleck wasn't around due to his work commitments in Boston, but Mila and Jason were joined by Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, and Simon Pegg. 90210's Jessica Stroup skipped out on the Nylon party her castmates were at to attend the screening. The film hits theaters Sept. 4, and after Buzz posted the preview a few months ago we're curious to see more.

Mila Kunis makes a casual flannel shirt look super sexy. She was spotted on the set of Extract, which is currently filming in LA with hairy Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman. Mila flies under the radar these days but besides currently working on this movie she's the voice of Meg Griffin on Family Guy, which premieres this Sunday, her movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall is available on DVD at the end of the month, and in mid-October she'll be on the big screen in Max Payne. The starlet may not be such a household name right now but besides being Macaulay Culkin's longtime girlfriend, she might be temporarily taking the place of another petite brunette we love so much.

Ben, Mila, and Jason Work on Extract, Not Emmys

Ben Affleck was back on the set of Extract in LA over the weekend and judging from Violet's pensive look, we may not be the only ones who aren't loving that wig. He was also joined by costar Mila Kunis, showing off her hot stems in tiny shorts. Jason Bateman helped round out the cast and also got a special visit on set from his wife and daughter. I'm already excited to see these three being funny together on the big screen, even if Ben's most recent comedic venture - the "I'm F*cking Ben Affleck" Video - lost to his buddy Matt's original version at the Creative Arts Emmys this weekend.

Ben's Busy Day and Bushy Beard

It's back to work for Ben Affleck, who was spotted on the set of Extract with Jason Bateman yesterday. He jumped right into character with his long curly hair to play a sleazy-sounding lawyer in the comedy, but luckily the scraggly wig was nowhere to be found when he met up with Jennifer to pick up Violet from school. It looks like Ben's hotness might not be a draw for this movie, but we're excited to see him flex those comedic muscles again.

Ben Affleck Keeps an Eye and a Lens on His Town

Ben Affleck had some hometown pride in his Harvard shirt on the set of The Town in Boston yesterday. With Dad far away, Violet got herself a new teddy bear out on a shopping trip with mom Jennifer in LA. Ben's directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone got strong reviews, but this time he'll have to coax out his own acting skills as a man who is competing with Jon Hamm for the affection of Rebecca Hall - lucky girl. So far Ben hasn't done much promotional work for his other movie Extract, but he has another week before it comes out if he can tear himself away from the his current set.

It's the same issue featuring Tom Brady's hot cover, and Mila sat down with the magazine for a chat about her upcoming film Extract with Jason Bateman and Ben Affleck. On being hard to offend: "It takes a lot to offend me. I mean, I'm sensitive to certain things. I haven't figured them out yet. But I'm sure they're there."
On bad interviews: "Yesterday, a woman asked me, ‘So! Was Ashton a prankster on set?’ I went, ‘Oh my God. For real?’ That’s when I know the interview’s going sour - when they ask me what it was like kissing Kutcher. The show’s been off the air for four years. It’s just no longer cute or funny."

Mila Kicks Off Opening Weekend With a Whole Lot of Coffee

Mila Kunis stepped out in LA yesterday wearing stylish stripes and carrying coffee for three. She just finished filming Extract and is already assuring us that it's really funny, but this weekend is all about Max Payne. Buzz gave the film a decent review, but we'll have to wait and see if underrated Mila and Mark can kick the reigning champion Beverly Hills Chihuahua's butt at the box office.
