Rihanna has a nude layer underneath. When you look at the pictures a bit closer you can see that it stops at her collarbones.

rihanna looks the better. at least her outfit is a bit conceptual. for the others; there is no point wearing clothes, you all look like..well, i'm not going to spell it

I go with Lady Ga Ga. I find her outfits (and performances) too distracting. She's a caricature, and she smacks of trying too hard.

In my opinion, in that bandage outfit, Rihanna is a close second.

Lady Gaga, hands down. She's been sporting wild ensemble from the beginning and it just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Rihanna looks like a rip-off from Gaga.

I'm just glad Gaga wasn't bleeding for this performance. Between her and Rihanna they are both getting more and more ridiculous. I think Rihanna's doing it because the reviews of her new album are so bad, and Gaga is trying to distract from her face.

I think all of their outfits are terrible.. i mean they all look so skanky.. there's no class at all. Carries outfit is butt-ugly but at least it looks almost normal compared to the others

Cultural decay on display. Very little class among any of them. GaGa is a clown. Fergie so inappropriate in public. Rhianna is a joke. J-Lo is disappointing. Underwood sunk to their level.

J-Lo won it for me. Her performance was awful and the song was rediculus. I was excited to see a possible comeback but now I feel bad for her. She was trying too hard. Kinda pathetic.

I think Lady Gaga was amazing! Finally a breath of fresh air in the music world. She puts so much thought behind everything she does. Every single thing has meaning and layers behind it. She doesn't care what looks sexy to the public but what she thinks is beautiful and amazing. Her outfit from afar created an alien monster like image, which was exactly what she was going for. Maybe it wasn't the most flattering in the crotch area but she probably did that on purpose. In the shots with the backlighting her torso looks longer which makes her more alien-like. The performance was part pop, part performance art, and part fashion installation. Those 3 components together is what she is known for and she does it every time! Amazing!

We still hope that Carrie Underwood will save her hometown movie theater. I don't know her personally, but I know that she is a wonderful person.

Fergie, Rihanna and GaGa all look trashy to me . JLo and Carrie just have dumb outfits, nothing wrong with them but nothing right either.

Rihanna's outfit/tattoos/lights/etc. were all there to distract us from one thing. She sounds like a walrus/pitbull hybrid in labor when "singing". She can't dance, she can't sing... all she can do is get as close to naked as possible and scream really loud. Gaga's outfit was insane. Good or bad, who cares? She's talented!!!! Fergies hair looked like a two hundred pound wig made up of leftover barbie hair, but the outfit was cute. Jennifer Lopez.... ummmm... her hair looked nice.

oh and i love carrie underwood! amazing voice... feisty lil' country gal! gaga's performance was greatest of the night but carrie did a good job!

JLo looks so fat in the pictures I have seen of her at the awards. How can this be when pictures I saw of her just a week ago had her looking more slender. Anyway, good luck with coming back.

By the way, I didn't mean to sound mean of JLO. I do like her and hope she does well. Just surprised, that's all.
