Josh Lights Up the Fringe Vancouver Set

Joshua Jackson kept warm with a cigar while on the Vancouver set of Fringe on Saturday. The actor is used to the cool weather of his hometown, but he kept a sweater on between takes over what was the Thanksgiving long weekend in Canada. Josh's girlfriend Diane has said that she'd love to guest star on a future episode, but until then we have Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy to keep the cameos exciting.

Joshua Returns Home to Canada and Fringe

Joshua Jackson was hard at work Monday on the Vancouver set of Fringe. He spent his Summer hiatus appearing at parties and vacationing around the world with Diane Kruger, but now he's filming on locations around his native Canada. Diane's Inglourious Basterds hits screens at the end of August, so hopefully he'll be able to take time off from the series to hit the red carpet at a premiere or two.

Josh Calls Himself Obnoxious and Gushes About Diane

Joshua Jackson got to work filming Fringe in NYC yesterday. As the show starts winding down for the season, Josh can look forward spending more quality time with Diane. He has often expressed his warm feelings toward his girlfriend, and in a recent interview he continued to spout his love for her and made fun of himself for being so intense. Here's more:

On what he enjoys about his relationship: "The daily joys, looking in her eyes, seeing her smile. More eloquent men than me have described the beauties of love but I don't think it really translates well into words. I like feeling like I do every day."

On Diane: "She's wonderful and she's kind and she's loving and she's forgiving when I'm a moron, and not forgiving when I don't deserve to be forgiven, and pushes me in all the best possible ways and is inspiring and tough and smart and funny and no amount of good words . . . I want to be a better man because I want to always see that look in her eyes when she looks at me. I want to be the man that deserves that love."
On their relationship: "I'm pretty in love with her. It's gross. [...] Everything you find obnoxious about couples when you are single is all of a sudden acceptable. Like, I am the most annoying guy. We talk about it all the time like oh my God I would just never want to spend any time with us."

Joshua Jackson Joins the Cast of Characters at Comic-Con

Joshua Jackson was out in NYC on Sunday to represent Fringe at Comic-Con. He signed autographs and posed with his costar John Noble before heading into a panel discussion with the rest of the cast. Josh opened up about how supportive his girlfriend Diane Kruger has been of his career - with one exception. He said, "The only audition my darling girlfriend has ever been upset with me for not getting the role is Captain Kirk. She was like 'Look honey, don’t screw this up. It’s Captain Kirk. It’s a legendary role.'" That part ended up going to Chris Pine, but Josh is doing great with his current prime-time part on FOX.

Joshua Jackson looked like a perfect picture of Autumn on the set of Fringe in NYC yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't get a new episode this week, so fresh photos of Josh looking handsome are always a welcome sight. Luckily a full season of Fringe has been ordered, so while we worry about some of our favorite shows getting canceled, we can rest assured that Josh is here to stay through the Spring.

Joshua Jackson looked serious whipping out his badge filming Fringe in Queens yesterday. With a touch of that Pacey Witter humor all grown up, we're already loving Josh Jackson as Peter Bishop. After the thrilling pilot, we're excited to see what happens tonight on what's already one our favorite new Fall shows. As much as we appreciate Josh back on TV, we also love seeing him looking sweet with Diane, and hopefully we'll find out soon if all the talk of engagement promises proves to be true.

Joshua Has No Shame About Showing Off His Style

Joshua Jackson didn't seem to mind the Summer temperatures as he posed for photos in NYC on Sunday before putting on layered cardigans for last night's Fringe premiere party with his costars. He looked great both ways, though Joshua is more than happy to let his girlfriend Diane Kruger take credit for his stellar style even when she's not by his side. He opened up to InStyle about his newfound appreciation for clothes and his recent immersion in the world of high fashion. Here's more:

On how Diane has affected his wardrobe: "When you're dating a European woman, the slovenly way of dressing will not do. But the reality is, I've also grown up a lot in the last five years, and not getting dressed up is partly teenage rebellion. I obviously held on to that for too long. But I don't want to get into wearing the uniform of the thirty-year-old actor either: the beanie guy, the scarf guy. It defeats the purpose of individual expression. If I ever have a fashion relapse, Diane lets me know."
On awkward celebrity run-ins: "My first Cannes experience was my first true fashion moment. The tradition is that the director escorts his leading lady up the stairs - which left me dateless. So my 'date' for the evening became Karl Lagerfeld. There's little Canadian me sitting next to Karl Lagerfeld for four and a half hours. It was pretty comical."

On when he started to care about clothes: "My education in the world of high fashion started with Diane. It's not something that particularly interested me before. That said, I don't think I'll ever rabidly follow trends. The big thing for me is finding clothes that I can wear, rather than clothes that wear me."
On what style meant to him growing up in British Columbia: "My mother raised two children entirely by herself, which was spectacular of her. I didn't grow up in a house that catered to fashion. It was more about function."
On returning to TV: "Frankly, Fringe is more to my taste than something like Dawson's Creek. I didn't grow up watching 90210; I grew up watching the X-Files."

We've always had a soft spot for Pacey Whitter, and we can't wait to see Josh back on the small screen in one of the most anticipated new Fall shows.

We're Already Feeling Good About Josh Jackson's Fringe

After making all the ladies at Comic-Con swoon last week, it was back to work for Joshua Jackson on the set of Fringe in Brooklyn yesterday. He looked as adorable as ever in his sunglasses, and we couldn't be more excited for the first season to finally get here. Buzz is already hooked on it and considering Josh was one of the guys we most wanted to see more of in 2008 we know we could get used to seeing his pretty face on a weekly basis again.
