Nicole Talks About Marriage and Sex- Refreshingly Honest or Over-the-Top?

Nicole Kidman is on the cover of December's GQ UK as she gets out there to promote Nine before its release. Inside the magazine she opens up about her marriages to Tom Cruise and Keith Urban, as well as some of her more extreme bedroom interests. Here's more:

On her romantic past: "I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff."
On marriage: "You work on it. It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You're exposed. You could drown. . . When you commit to someone like that, you live and die together by that decision."
On being with Tom Cruise: "I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. . . I know my agents at the time were like, "Do not get married! It will ruin your career!" and I was like, "But I’m in love." All I know is that I wasn’t someone interested in fame. And that’s not why I got married. I wanted to work with people who intrigued me."
On keeping things private: "You can’t read somebody’s diary. You shouldn’t read it. I burnt most of my journals after I remarried… You’re only going to find out bad things."

Christian Bale Bares All For GQ

Out of the bat suit and into something a little more dapper, Christian Bale makes scruffy look sexy on the cover of the August issue of GQ UK. With The Dark Knight's release date just over a week away, he's got plenty to say about the film, but also shows us more of the man behind the latest caped crusader. Here are highlights:

On how his wife handles how he embodies the roles he plays: "Well, she gets to sleep with a whole bunch of different men, so maybe it's not so bad for my wife. And she does it without having to feel guilty!"
On being a father: "The time I spend with my daughter is just incredible. She's a little rascal. I'm not going to miss her growing up for anything, not even for Batman. I'm certainly not going to be one of those fathers who picks up a photo of his daughter and has regrets about not being around."
On doing risky stunts even though he has a family to think about: "People will say, Why is he still doing this crazy sh*t?' But I'm OK with that. I'd like my daughter to see me do these things, as I saw my father do some crazy things and learnt to appreciate it. My philosophy isn't so much, 'Do what I do.' It's more, 'Whatever you do, do it completely. Don't do it half-arsed. Do it more than anybody else would.'"

On doing some of his own stunts: "We were shooting in Chicago one day and I overheard a couple of the stunt guys talking about a shot that needed to be set up, with Batman hanging off the edge of the Sears Tower. They wanted a stunt guy to do it but I was like, 'What? No, no, no. I am doing that.' I had to wrestle a bit with the producers but eventually I twisted their arms. A few days later I was standing 110 stories up, looking out over Chicago, on the edge of one of the tallest towers in the world, with a helicopter about two inches from my bloody face. Did I have a safety rope? Yeah, just don't tell anyone. But it was a thrill; it got the heart going - especially when the wind picked up and I was leaning all the way out over the edge. I mean, you can't play a superhero and not enjoy it, right?"
On getting recognized: "I used to think about it way more when I wasn't being recognized. For ages I used to think people were staring at me and I'd think, 'Oh no. I've been spotted by some deranged fan.' But of course they hadn't really recognized me at all, I just had something unsightly coming out of my nose. But anonymity back then was a lovely thing. Strangely enough, I was wandering around Rome recently, I think I was having insomnia issues or jet lag while filming, so I kept going for these late-night walks. I kept seeing this same guy wandering around some evenings, looking a little lost like me. I waved and said hello to him one night - it was f*cking Viggo Mortensen. So it seems the only people who spot me are fellow sleepless actors in Europe!"
On the possibility of winning an Oscar someday: "Look, I'm human, and I guess I can't help but like it when someone says they like my work. If someone wanted to jump up and down and go, 'You nailed that part. You. Are. F*cking. Fantastic,' of course I'd be riding high on that. But before that happens, I'll just have a couple of drinks with my pals."

Gwyneth Gets Even More Sexy for GQ

Gwyneth Paltrow has been flaunting her flirty side on the red carpet events for Iron Man lately and she went even sexier in lingerie for the June issue of GQ UK. Apparently Gwyneth wanted to use the opportunity to turn heads and prove that she's not as uptight as she might seem, saying, "People think I'm aloof, or old, or that I breathe rarefied air-that's not me." The actress seems to be having a ball promoting her new comic book movie and we welcome the chance to see her lighter and more fun-loving personality.

Cameron Diaz Is a Whole Lot of Woman

Cameron Diaz for GQ - yowza! Need I say more? The actress looks smoking hot in the newest issue of the magazine's UK edition, where she no doubt delights all her many male fans by talking about her life as a single woman. She said:

On boys: "I like boys - a lot. I'm boy crazy. That hasn't changed since I was very young."
On dating: "I do get asked out. It's fun . . . I'm a lot of woman - in a lot of ways. And I understand that can be intimidating."
On commitment: "When I'm in a relationship I'm very loyal and committed. I give a lot . . . But it's been nice not having a boyfriend for the past year. In fact it's the first time I haven't had one in ten years and I'm enjoying what I'm getting out of this moment . . . I could be in a relationship if I wanted to be but I haven't finished doing what I'm doing."

She's obviously still got it, and more power to her for settling down when she's good and ready. I'm sure there will be a million takers when she decides to give long-term relationships another go.

Colin Reflects on His Change of Heart

Colin Farrell is sitting pretty in the UK April issue of GQ. The bad boy turned doting dad still hasn't lost his edgy side, and these photos reflect his broody nature. Colin still has a lot to say about the dark periods of life when he was battling addictions to drugs and alcohol, and how lucky he is to have overcome his demons. He said, "I didn't want to die. I just didn't want to live. Well, now I do. I want to live for a long time." Even though he cleaned up his act, Colin hasn't lost his love for skirt chasing - he was shot down trying to pick up a supermodel in NYC just a few nights ago.

Kate Parties For Woman of the Year Lily at GQ Awards

Kate Moss and Lily Allen had each other for support at last night's GQ Men of the Year Awards in London. The good friends posed for the cameras, though Kate also had Jamie Hince as her date for the evening following a busy few days together. Guy Ritchie and Eva Mendes chatted at their side-by-side seats, while Freida Pinto was without her boyfriend Dev Patel after spending their weekend side-by-side. Kate presented Lily with the Woman of the Year statue, and put on a bit of a show in her short dress having her own fun throughout the night.
