After a long weekend of bikini dancing and cigarettes in the pool, Britney Spears, George Maloof, and their friends hopped on the private jet and left Cabo yesterday afternoon. It's back to LA life for Britney, who still should be riding high from her VMA nomination, so hopefully Kevin's not the only one with nothing to complain about. Britney may have something else to celebrate soon too - according to OK! Magazine, Jamie Lynn is planning on getting married before the end of the year with her big sister Brit as the maid of honor. With a couple of weddings of her own under her belt, Britney should be just the woman for the job.

VMA-Nominated Britney Grabs Her Bikini and Heads to Cabo

Britney Spears jetted off to Cabo for little R&R with friends, including Vegas hotshot George Maloof this weekend. After officially settling her custody deal with Kevin on Friday, she hopefully left all her worries at home before slipping into her bikini. We saw how great her beach body is looking and what better excuse to show it off! She had something fun to celebrate, too, as expected Britney nabbed a Best Female Video VMA nomination up against Rihanna, Katy Perry, Mariah, and Jordin Sparks. The next set of VMA nominations will be out this Friday so who knows, maybe there will be even more nods coming Brit's way. With the Sept. 7 awards less than six weeks away and British Russell Brand's hosting to look forward to, looks like Miss Spears is already getting a head start on her perfect red-carpet tan.

She also had some fun making videos, but only time will tell whether she was working or just adding to her private collection of home movies. After her stressful return to LA thanks to the paparazzi, Britney Spears found some time to unwind with a cigarette break on her patio yesterday. While she and Jamie were swarmed at LAX over the weekend, her little sister managed to outsmart her own posse of photographers by using a Jamie Lynn lookalike as a decoy while she and Maddie quietly slipped out of the hospital and back home to Mississippi on Saturday morning. Now that all the Spears women are home safe and sound, it's time for Brit to get back to work on that rumored new album - which supposedly will be recorded at the Palms in Las Vegas with George Maloof behind it.

Josh Celebrates Vegas But Has His Mind on I Do

The cast of Las Vegas got together in - where else? - Vegas last night to celebrate the one hundredth episode of their show. Co-stars Josh Duhamel and Molly Sims got cozy with the city as the backdrop. Josh's new fiancée Fergie wasn't by his side, but the big day was definitely on his mind. He said, "We don't know how big, how small, where it's going to be. . . . We don't know anything! We're going to decide over the next couple weeks. . . . I'm very excited. . . . We're both very excited." I guess that makes two of them who are giddy about their big day, which Josh also revealed would be "soon." Sounds like we won't have to wait too long to see what Fergie Ferg decides to wear as she struts her stuff down the aisle towards hot Josh.

VMA Parties After Parties

Vegas was hopping (moreso than usual) after last night's VMA bonanza. The Palms held the official after party hosted by Jamie Foxx and hot stuff Jennifer Garner. Elsewhere on the strip, Paris and her entourage headed off to the post-party at the Wynn. It looks like that ex-husband fight was no skin off Pamela Anderson's back as she slipped into a LWD to dance the night away. After the hot (and not so hot) performances at the show, obviously everyone wanted to let loose. Though, really, didn't the format of last night's VMAs kinda feel like you were just watching all the stars get wasted? I'm looking at you concert-delaying Timberlake. Hey, at least he wasn't caught by the cameras at the post parties!
