Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Lessons on Birth Control and Teen Pregnancy

“I believe in safety and birth control as prevention," Jamie Lynn Spears tells Glamour this month. "But like many young girls . . . I was really scared to go to the doctor." Britney's little sister had to grow up fast, after she became pregnant at 16, and after taking some time away from the spotlight, she gave an interview with Glamour to mark her 21st birthday.

In the interview, Jamie Lynn shares the reality of becoming pregnant at an age most girls are thinking about prom, cheerleading, or college. She admits, "I had been on a Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, and after we wrapped shooting, I just wanted to go home to Louisiana and finish high school, be a cheerleader, all that." But that wouldn't happen. "Then I found out I was pregnant [by then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge]. I was 16. I’d had one boyfriend."

Jamie Lynn also says she resented the judgment, which she believes was intensified by her fame. "I was judged for something that probably most everyone does. I was young. I was in love. I was like every other teenager, except I had this last name. And I made a decision that is forever my decision." But fear of judgement also led to the accidental pregnancy. Jamie Lynn explained, "I was on a Nickelodeon show, and it [felt] especially embarrassing to ask someone to put me on birth control. I didn’t want to ask my doctor, because she had a little girl."

Rachel McAdams struck an adorable pose, decked out in a pink Mavi shirt and Dolce & Gabbana shorts, for the cover of Glamour's February 2012 issue. She's fronting the magazine to chat up her new movie, The Vow, and her costar Channing Tatum. He's the latest in a long line of hotties with whom she's shared the screen. Two of her leading men, Ryan Gosling and Michael Sheen, have become her real-life companions as well. Nonetheless, Rachel doesn't advocate meeting a boyfriend on set. She also spoke about how ladies love Ryan and her early start as an employee at McDonald's. Rachel told Glamour:

On dating her costars: "A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive; it's too distracting. Every relationship I've had with a coworker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie."
On an early job at McDonald's: "It was a great place to work, but I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn't have time. They were like, 'Hey, the drive-through's backing up. Stop washing your hands!' I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day."
On learning that her ex Ryan Gosling is some sort of a feminist icon: "Feminist icon? Wow! Is that real? . . . Oh my God, that's great."

J Lo, Jessica, and Chelsea Shine on the Glamour Women of the Year Red Carpet

NYC's Carnegie Hall played host to the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year awards last night. A Versace-clad Jennifer Lopez stole the show on the red carpet. She was on hand to accept the magazine's All-Star honor, which was presented to her by pal Donatella Versace. Jessica Alba wore Tory Burch to escort the designer, and Fashion Force winner, to the show. Diva Next Door-winner Lea Michele sparkled down the press line, and Emma Stone picked a loose gown to pose for photos.

We caught a moment with Queen of the Night winner Chelsea Handler, who was in a skin-tight Stella McCartney jumpsuit for the occasion. Speaking about why her program has succeeded while many other women haven't been able to break ground in the traditionally male-dominated arena of late-night shows, Chelsea said she believes it's due to her honesty. She didn't stay serious for long, though, since she then admitted that her female comedy icon is David Hasselhoff. Tory Burch told us she's thankful for the support of her celebrity fans and expects to sell quite a few of the sequined minis that Jessica Alba sported!

Jennifer Lopez Reveals What It Takes to "Really Get to Know Somebody"

Jennifer Lopez wore a Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony red bustier for the cover of the December 2011 Glamour. It's the magazine's annual Women of the Year issue, which will be on newsstands November 8. Jennifer, who's been busy lately chatting up her line for Kohl's, spoke with Glamour about her personal style. Jennifer Lopez's rumored romance with Bradley Cooper didn't come up, but she did dish about what she will need to get another relationship off the ground. Jennifer said:

On her next relationship: "I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media - they want to rush everything."
On her style: "The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx - jeans, cut-up T-shirts - I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today."
On what she's learned about relationships: "I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship."

HP and Condé Nast are teaming up for a new initiative to fight declining sales: print your own magazines at home. The digital service, which will require an HP web-connected printer, delivers subscription magazines like Wired, Allure, and Glamour straight to your printer for instant printing whenever you want. Additionally, HP is rolling out an Instant Ink service, which automatically delivers ink to your home each month (in place of that magazine that used to get delivered to your mailbox) for prices ranging from $6 to $11 per month.

The downside to these programs? You'll spend way more on paper and ink than you would have for a yearly subscription to all of those magazines combined.

Kristen Stewart Dishes Out Relationship Advice and Shows Lots of Leg in Glamour

Kristen Stewart is on the cover of Glamour's November issue to promote Breaking Dawn, and while her cover look might echo Bella's girl-next-door style, her sexy, laced-up spread inside the magazine is definitely all Kristen. The actress, who has been on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman in Wales in recent weeks, is readying to move past the role that made her a household name as the franchise comes to a close. Twilight author Stephenie Meyer interviewed Kristen for the magazine this Summer just outside of London, where they chatted about Kristen's leading men, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Kristen even reflected on the best romantic advice she's gotten during their conversation. Here are some highlights:

On how Taylor and Rob are different: "It’s fun to watch with him because we actually sit and watch it. Me and Taylor are actual Twilight fans, so we can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob…he likes it, but he has just such a different energy."
On her advice regarding relationships: "Hmm…good relationship advice for me tends to be being honest and knowing yourself. Don’t be an asshole. That’s my advice. Don’t be mean. Don’t take sh*t. Don’t settle."

Jennifer Aniston Tells Glamour She Wants "Awesomeness" in Her Relationships

Jennifer Aniston covers October's Glamour, which is on newsstands Sept. 6, along with her pals Demi Moore and Alicia Keys. The three ladies teamed up to create a series of short films for the Lifetime network that will be broadcast together as the program Five, and each piece focuses on how breast cancer affects women's lives. Jennifer's currently settling into her new home with boyfriend Justin Theroux, but she spoke to the magazine recently about what she likes in relationships, getting her star on the Walk of Fame, and what she sought to accomplish with her minimovie. She said:

On her piece in Five: "We were intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectation of the subject. We wanted to balance the drama with humor and irreverence, because that’s what’s helped our friends who’ve faced this get through their treatment. We wanted stories that were informative without being heavy handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written. Other than that, our goals were small. [Laughs.]"
On getting her star on the Walk of Fame: "It was a milestone in my career, which was surreal, because I still think I’m at the beginning of it. I remember when they told me about the honor, I thought, 'Really?' I’ve never lost that feeling of ‘Oh God, I hope I get this job!’ I don’t want to get too used to any of this because then entitlement sets in, and that’s the kiss of death."
On what she wants in a relationship: "I would say I couldn’t be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness, and humor. And awesomeness."

Rihanna Scores a Glamorous September Issue Cover

Rihanna scored the September Glamour cover, where she sports a striking Dolce & Gabbana backless top, sequins pants, and a playful smile. Inside the magazine, Rihanna talks about drama, her friendship with Katy Perry, and being a role model for young girls. The conversation isn't entirely PG, since Rihanna also dishes on what she likes in the bedroom. Heidi Klum Goes Topless in Glamour to Talk Sex With Seal and Project Runway

Heidi Klum is on the cover of Glamour's August issue and poses sans shirt inside the fashion glossy. Project Runway's ninth season premiere is right around the corner, and Heidi was just in NYC to tape the first episode with special guest Kim Kardashian and fellow judges Michael Kors, Tim Gunn, and Nina Garcia. Heidi reflected on her life on and off the catwalk in the magazine. She opened up about her husband, Seal, her personal style, and why she has no problem saying "auf wiedersehen" to contestants on her hit reality show. She said:

On whether she's become a tougher judge over the years: "I don't think so. But I do think that I'm more comfortable now than I was during the first few seasons. Now I'm more at ease. I see the designers and start singing this song [snapping along], 'Another one bites the dust . . .' I have more fun with it now."
On keeping things sexy with Seal: "There's nothing wrong with a nice garter belt. I'm not saying you have to put a pole up in your bedroom and start swinging off the rafters. But I love that sometimes! My husband and I just had a 'sexy week' in London. I'd put on a super-short skirt with a garter belt on underneath so that when I'd sit, he could see it. It's fun to sauce it up a little bit."
On her biggest style regret: "I can't think of one that I hated. It always worked in that time and that moment. It's the same with hairdos. When I was younger, I had a perm, and it was really big. Blake Lively Moves Past a Scandal With a Glamorous New Cover

Blake Lively donned a sparkly dress and showed off her tanned legs on the July cover of Glamour, which will be available on newsstands June 7. She's also been flaunting her long limbs during an extended stay in Europe on vacation with her love interest Leonardo DiCaprio. Soon, though, Blake will return to the States to start promoting an upcoming project, the highly anticipated Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds. Blake may return home with a new scandal as well, since nude photos that appear to be of her were posted online last night. Blake's rep says the photos are fake, however. Blake avoided discussing any controversy in the magazine, instead sharing with the interviewer, her pal Florence Welch, about her love of fashion, being the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbags, and how she deals with breakups. Blake Lively told Glamour:

On becoming the new face of Chanel to Florence: "It's such an honor. When I found out I got [the job], you and I went to dinner and concocted this plan, like two little girls at a tea party, saying, 'Oh, it would be the best if we had a party. And you'll perform, and we'll do it in Paris.' Like you and I were in charge of Chanel!"
On being her own stylist: "I think I became my own stylist by not knowing any better. And once I was told it was time to get one, I thought: This is one of my favorite hobbies! And I'm going to pay someone to steal my hobby from me? That's a terrible idea!"
On breakups: "Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends."
