The Vanity Fair editor is getting married this weekend and he's going all out. Fashion Week Daily reports that his bride, Anna Scott will be wearing a custom-made Carolina Herrera gown thatâ€™s not white and Frederic Fekkai is doing the bride and groom and wedding party's hair. There is supposed to be a surprise guest singer that I'm sure we'll hear about on Monday. Take a look at the happy couple and their wedding invitation. Maybe we'll end up seeing some pics in the next issue of VF.

Has Time Run Out for Paris-Mania?

Are her 15 minutes officially up? Will the Paris phenomenon be coming to an end soon? Can we all get restraining orders against Paris?

One fine example of how the table have turned for Ms Hilton is the change of heart with VF Editor in Chief, Graydon Carter. He supposedly denied Paris access to the coveted VF Oscar Party even after appearing on the magazine's cover only 6 months ago. WWD reports that Graydon said this last week:

He turned on a recent cover subject last Friday, when he dissed Paris Hilton on the HBO show "Real Time With Bill Maher." Carter said Hilton wouldn't be coming to the Vanity Fair Oscar party at Morton's, even after she appeared on the magazine's October 2005 cover. "The only Hilton we'll allow in is Conrad Hilton, in an urn," he said on air, adding, "I think the 15 minutes of fame is almost an exaggeration for this generation because there's nothing to support whatever â€” there's no quality behind what they do." Perhaps the love lost had something to do with the fact that the Hilton cover was controversial within CondÃ© Nast, where many complained it cheapened the magazine.

Compared to last year when he defended her nothing talents here. Looks like even the best of the industry was fooled by her. I have seen the Graydon quote in other places sound much harsher like this: "Paris who? She will never attend one of the parties I host." Ouch - someone feels burned. Is it because she announced her endless love for a man she had broken up with by the time the magazine was on the newsstand OR are we all just a little sick of Paris overall?

Jen and John Cozy Up With Fellow Oscar Partiers at VF

Despite rumors that Graydon Carter was scaling things back for this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, the soiree was as A-List as ever at its new venue the Sunset Towers. Jennifer Aniston could relax after her presenting duties, and when she and John Mayer hit the party, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple cuddled up every chance they got, and he twittered a sweet message about her. Salma Hayek hugged her friend Penelope Cruz to celebrate her Supporting Actress win. Elsewhere, Jessica Alba and Kate Bosworth caught up with presenter Halle Berry to smile for the cameras, while Jake Gyllenhaal shared a moment with Reese Witherspoon.

The fans let loose quite the screams when Kate Winslet, the star of the night, hit the red carpet with her Oscar in hand. Once inside the party she shared it with fellow nominee Meryl Streep just a bit. Madonna had her own party to host with Demi Moore, but she also stopped by VF, where she showed off her toned arms. Apparently even Captain Sully made a surprise appearance at the bash, which may have been smaller than usual but didn't lack in the glamour department.

Anne Hathaway hit up the Waverly Inn in NYC yet again this week - ah, the perks of being friends with Graydon Carter. Either way Anne looks pretty happy just to be out on a date with her man, but he might be concerned about a little competition from her Get Smart co-star. When asked about her relationship with Steve Carell, Anne said, "I can't get him to leave me alone. But we were, or we are, very true to the sexual tension from the original series. 'Maxwell' and '99' have a little bit of frisson between them. Steve and I work to keep it that way.”

Kirsten Helps Us Look Forward to Losing Friends

Kirsten Dunst mixed up trends in her red flats, high waisted jeans and Wayfarers but she looks like she needed her cold weather gear instead. She has remained relatively low profile since Spider-man 3, but soon she'll be all over the fashion world and red carpet for her latest projects - her Miu Miu campaign and movie How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Buzz has got a teaser trailer for the anticipated film and while Kirsten doesn't even have any lines in it, we're excited to see this newest take on the Manhattan media world especially since Jeff Bridges looks insanely wonderful as Graydon Carter.

De Niro & Bowie Have Big Festivals, Bigger Egos

Last night Vantiy Fair helped kick off the Tribeca Film Festival with a party attended by a variety of big names. Robert De Niro and David Bowie were among those who flashed big smiles for the cameras, but apparently there is a fair amount of tension between these two under the surface. It seems that De Niro is not a big fan of Bowie's High Line Festival, which is set to start just three days after Tribeca ends and is catered towards a younger crowd. Here's more:

But a source at the Tribeca festival sniffed to Page Six: "I think they are envisioning themselves as Slamdance to our Sundance and living off the success of Sundance."

Some High Liners believe De Niro has already sabotaged them by keeping Tribeca's public relations team, Rubenstein Communications, from doing press for High Line, the Web site reports. De Niro's flack had no comment. But one longtime De Niro pal insisted, "He could care less."

Rubenstein Communications President Steven Rubenstein denies there's any feud, adding that Bowie was set to attend last night's Tribeca kickoff party sponsored by Vanity Fair. Bowie told us in a statement: "I am afraid I have no control over the inexplicable comments from the High Line producers. I think the Tribeca Film Festival is unique and irreplaceable."

Seems like a lot of fuss over nothing. Besides, Robert should have nothing to worry about, it is his festival that's premiering Spider-man 3, which is sure to be a huge hit!

Tom's Expensive Table at the Black Ball

Tom and Katie attended The Black Ball hosted by Alicia Keys and Iman in NYC last night. The soon to be newlyweds hosted a table for $50,000 which included Tom Freston, the other Tom fired by Sumner Redstone earlier this year. That's one expensive table but it's for charity so it's all good. Page Six reports that:

TOM Cruise has a new best friend, Tom Freston. The two Toms were humiliated by Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone earlier this year when Redstone fired them both. Now they've become good pals and are showing a united front at tomorrow night's Conde Nast Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom hosted by Alicia Keyes and Iman. "[Cruise] bought a $50,000 table and has sat [Freston] right next to himself," said our spy. Also at the table: Graydon and Anna Carter, Vanity Fair features editor Jane Sarkin and Diane Sawyer's "GMA" producer, Marc Robertson. A rep for Cruise declined comment.

We wonder if this means that Tom Freston will be involved in the new UA that Cruise is forming. Should be an interesting pairing. As for the best dressed of the evening, Anne wins hands down. VF Benefits from Britney's Divorce Game

We've been waiting patiently to see pics of little Jayden and assumed Britney would show him off in her usual go to magazine, People. But Britney may have other plans. Apparently Graydon Carter is getting lucky. First he debuted Suri Cruise and now Britney may give her pics to Vanity Fair just to make sure Kevin doesn't make any money off the deal. We bet she'd get a nice comeback cover as well. Here's more:

Sources say Spears has sidestepped her usual go-to venue, People, which ran the first photos of the then-happy family in December. Instead, she's gunning for the prestige of a monthly or bimonthly, hoping to rehabilitate her flagging image in the TomKat/Vanity Fair mold.

As one of a handful of editors who had been called by Spears' representation on the story pointed out, monthly women's magazines don't write checks for photos and interviews, as People reportedly has for her in the past. But a little-known clause in the prenuptial agreement the couple signed guarantees Kevin Federline proceeds from all photos, which perhaps is another reason Spears is going for image rather than cash. Another complicating factor is that Spears has dropped her longtime rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, and is now back with her old manager, Larry Rudolph.

Not surprising news she's back with Larry after their skating adventure the other day. And what's that mystery ring on Brit's finger? Will Suri Land A Vanity Fair Cover?

Everyone is waiting impatiently for the first picture of Suri Cruise. Even Graydon Carter wants a piece. At this point it doesn't make sense to have People or US run them. VF could use a shocking cover other than LL, Paris or even Hilary Swank in a bathing suit. We'd love to see if Suri can land a VF cover. That would put Shiloh in her place. Page Six:

Sources say Vanity Fair has landed the first photos of the care fully guarded tot spawned by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes last April. The pictures were taken by celebrity snapper Annie Leibovitz and will be published this fall, spies say. Both Vanity Fair and Cruise's reps had no comment.
