Halle Berry stepped out yesterday in LA sporting a piece of jewelry on her ring finger, setting off rumors that Olivier Martinez had proposed to her. The couple have been dating since they met on the set of Dark Tide in 2010. Neither of their reps have commented on the engagement buzz. Halle herself has said she doesn't expect to marry again, so the strategically placed ring, which she debuted in late December, may be nothing more than a fashion statement.

Halle and Olivier have traveled widely together, and he also frequently joins her and her daughter Nahla on lunch dates and trips to the beach. Halle was back in her home base of LA for the holidays after shooting her latest film, Cloud Atlas, in Europe. She suffered a foot injury on the set of the movie back in September, but was back to good health by the holidays.

Halle Berry Suffers a Broken Leg Filming Cloud Atlas Overseas

Halle Berry gingerly stepped out of a car and made her way into an airport this morning in Mallorca. She's on location in Spain shooting her latest project, Cloud Atlas, and apparently Halle broke her right leg during a day off. Production on the film has been reportedly adjusted to accommodate Halle's injury and costars Tom Hanks, Jim Sturgess, and Hugh Grant will continue shooting new scenes. Halle was recently spotted in a bikini on a romantic beach vacation with boyfriend Olivier Martinez, but due to her cast it may be a while before we see her slip back into a swimsuit and splash around in the surf.

Halle Berry was in Glasgow shooting her new project Cloud Atlas today. The movie, an adaptation of the best-selling book by the same title, will also star Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, and Susan Sarandon, among others. In her role, Halle is playing a 1970s journalist and looked the part today in heavy bangs, a space-dyed scarf, and wide-legged jeans. The actress headed to Scotland for work after spending some time in Spain with her daughter, Nahla, and her boyfriend, Olivier Martinez. Halle wore a bikini for a dip in the water during the getaway, and the happy trio were spotted exploring Majorca hand in hand as they vacationed. Cloud Atlas is the first movie Halle has filmed since New Year's Eve, which shot in NYC earlier this year, and she took advantage of her downtime between them to bond with Nahla and keep the romance alive with Olivier.
