Nicole and Harlow Drop in For Coffee While Joel Walks Out

Nicole Richie and Harlow grabbed coffee and snacks together yesterday in LA. Harlow practiced her walking on the way back to the car, but she isn't the only one who has been getting physical lately. Nicole was shaking it during Jay-Z show on Sunday, and she twittered about how sore she was after working up a sweat. Joel Madden is still in Australia with Benji, but things went a little sour when he walked out of an an offensive radio interview in Melbourne because he wasn't in the mood to play games on air.

White Rabbit Nicole Brings Tinkerbell Harlow Out on Halloween!

Nicole Richie made for a cute White Rabbit as she brought Tinkerbell Harlow to a Halloween party on Saturday. With Joel off in Australia performing with Benji, Nicole was on holiday duty with their two kids, though Sparrow didn't get dressed up for the festivities with his mom and sister. Nicole had said that she wanted Harlow to dress up as a character from Alice in Wonderland as well, but the two-year-old had her heart set on Tinkerbell. While Nicole's costume was perfectly coordinated, we still couldn't help but notice what looks like a diamond band on her ring finger. Joel denied the rumors that they secretly tied the knot earlier this month, so perhaps she's just wearing it to signify their commitment.

Nicole, Joel and Harlow Get Ready For Sparrow's First Halloween

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden brought Harlow out to pick pumpkins yesterday in LA. This Halloween will be a special one for the family, as it's their very first with baby Sparrow - ICYMI, check out his debut! Nicole is apparently aiming for an Alice in Wonderland-themed holiday, though she recently joked about dressing Sparrow like a mummy, saying, "I will wrap him up in toilet paper and make him a little mummy. Harlow Madden welcomed photographers with open arms yesterday afternoon as she left Jerry's restaurant in LA with her mom Nicole Richie. The girls sat down for lunch together after working up their appetites with a hike nearby. Nicole seems to be back in action and ready for more outdoor fun after being in a minor car accident last week, which is a great thing since she has two little ones who require lots of attention.

Nicole Richie brought Harlow out to mingle with some ducks at the park in LA on Saturday. Harlow showed off her growing confidence on her own two feet as she surveyed the scene. Nicole chopped a few inches off her hair last week but she's still sporting her effortlessly chic California waves as opposed to the perfect side swept bangs we still remember so well. She was also on kid duty this weekend with Joel away performing in Memphis and Vegas, but Nicole had the night off for dinner with the girls, including Jessica Alba, last week.

Nicole Richie had Harlow in her arms yesterday afternoon as they left a baby gym in LA. New mom Nicole just turned 28 on Monday, and she took to her Twitter to thank everyone for their birthday wishes. She has been up and about since giving birth to son Sparrow only two weeks ago, having enjoyed an outing with Joel and Harlow and a girls-only shopping trip last week. It's always a treat to see the three oldest Richie-Maddens, but we're also looking forward to getting a glimpse of baby Sparrow.

Nicole Richie joined Harlow and Joel for an afternoon out in LA on Saturday. It was Nicole's second outing since Sparrow's birth two weeks ago, and it looks like the Richie-Maddens are already back into the swing of things. She's also returned to her Twitter, where she's been taking breaks from tending to Sparrow to post ruminations about Sex and the City. Yesterday Joel took Harlow to the farmer's market before trying to make Nicole's 28th birthday today a trending topic.

Nicole and Harlow Spotted Out For the First Time Since Sparrow's Birth!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their son Sparrow just over a week ago, and the new mom is already out and about taking care of business. She and Harlow stepped out yesterday to do a little shopping at a mall in Beverly Hills together, with Nicole looking every bit as hip as usual. It's impressive that having a newborn isn't slowing Nicole down, but with a growing two-year-old to look after, she has her hands full. Harlow is already up and walking, showing off a range of funny faces like a proud and growing big sister.

Nicole, Joel, and Harlow Welcome Baby Sparrow!

Nicole Richie was in labor last night, and early this morning she gave birth to a son named Sparrow James Midnight Madden. In an announcement on her website, Nicole wrote that her son was born a healthy 7 lbs, 14 oz. Congrats to one of our favorite Summer couples and their growing healthy and happy family!

Harlow Is a Daddy's Girl at the Market With Joel

Harlow Madden hugged Joel's legs at the farmers market in LA on Sunday. The two were out without Nicole, who has been laying low since the news broke on Friday that her former fiancé DJ AM was found dead in NYC. There were rumors that Nicole went into labor following the stressful and difficult situation, but her mother twittered that it wasn't true and Nicole apparently spent some time with Ellen Pompeo on Saturday. Even so, Joel was on Harlow duty for their Sunday outing as Nicole takes a break from being particularly public and the inevitable questions about Adam.
