The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit New York City last night to show off their film to the eagerly awaiting American audience. Emma Watson led the show with her impeccable fashion sense, but luckily this time she skipped any wardrobe malfunctions as she chatted about hoping her college roommate isn't a huge Harry Potter fan . Emma was flanked by Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint who were joined by fans like Michelle Trachtenberg and Lance Bass.

The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince braved the London rain for their premiere yesterday. Helen Bonham Carter showed off her castle purse, though Emma Watson stole the show in her gorgeous gown. As avid fans of all ages — including Guy Ritchie and Rocco — were treated to one of the movie's first showings, here in the states we'll have to wait until next week to check out the latest installment of the franchise.

Rupert had a rough weekend at home with swine flu, but it wasn't enough to keep him from hitting the red carpet with his pals. The franchise's much anticipated sixth movie hits theaters on July 15, which means there's about to be a new Summer blockbuster at the box office.
