Dakota, Ivanka, and More Stars Kick off Tribeca With Vanity Fair

Stars like Dakota Fanning, Leelee Sobieski, and Catherine Zeta-Jones gathered last night to celebrate the start of the Tribeca Film Festival at Vanity Fair's kickoff party. The bash was held at NYC's State Supreme Courthouse and many of the celebs posed for pictures outside before heading in to start the fun with editor in chief Graydon Carter. Leelee, who arrived with her designer husband Adam Kimmel, wore a white gown from Jil Sander. Dakota, one of the festival's judges this year, was pretty in a pink Lanvin. Catherine broke from working on The Bitter Pill to throw on a silver Michael Kors number and let loose alongside husband Michael Douglas. Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner also popped by to say hello during a date night, when their daughter Arabella stayed home. Stars came out for the annual Tribeca Ball, honoring Robert De Niro's support of the arts and benefiting the Academy of Art, in NYC last night. Julianna Margulies wore a simple black gown while Kim Catrall went with a bright blue blazer and Solange Knowles mixed things up in a printed look. Naomi Watts wore a sexy strapless Stella McCartney dress to pose on the arm of Liev Schreiber. They recently returned to the Big Apple after a trip to Barbados with their sons Sasha and Kai. Naomi wore a swimsuit and Liev went shirtless to show PDA in the ocean when they weren't hanging out with their boys during the getaway.

The glamorous affair comes just ahead of the kickoff to the Tribeca Film Festival, which Robert founded in 2001. We're gearing up for tomorrow's opening day with a look back at the most star-studded Tribeca Film Festival moments including Angelina Jolie and Kristen Stewart.

Award season continued last night at London's Elle Style Awards. It was another star-studded turnout, after last year's celebration attracted the likes of Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan. Rumored new face of Lancôme Emma Watson donned a pale pink Hakaan dress to accept the top honor for Style Icon, just one day after she wore another fabulous gown, a Valentino, to the BAFTAs. Emma accepted her statue from designer Vivienne Westwood and said from the stage, "It feels amazing. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block all that off and I just do what I love and just have fun with it. I’ve definitely been feeling the pressure a bit more recently but it’s just fun for me." Joining Emma were other fashionable ladies like an Emilio Pucci-clad Blake Lively, who traveled from NYC to pick up the Best TV Star statue during a break from filming Gossip Girl.
