The cast of How I Met Your Mother gathered in LA last night for an event at the Academy of Television Arts And Sciences. The show's pregnant stars Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders brought along their men — Alyson with her husband Alexis Denisof while newly-engaged Cobie showed off the rock given to her by Taran Killam. Neil Patrick Harris rubbed both of their baby bumps before they all took the stage to talk about their program and sign autographs for fans.

The adorable cast of How I Met Your Mother minus Jason Segel got together to share a few red carpet laughs in NYC last night at an Academy screening of the show. Alyson looked especially fabulous in her LWD while Jason Radnor looked every bit his character in the untucked shirt, tie and jeans. At the event Neil Patrick Harris talked about, what else, the possibility of bringing Britney back.

Britney headed to the recording studio in LA over the weekend, but while we wait for more music from Miss Spears, she's getting back to work at the TV studio, too. After much speculation, it has been confirmed that she'll be making another appearance on How I Met Your Mother! The episode will air on May 12, and the show's executive producer is already talking about how excited he is to have her back.

Britney Spears looked cute in her basic jeans and t-shirt running errands in LA over the weekend. It seems like there are a ton of potential projects in the works for the pop star, but this weekend we learned some especially exciting news: Brit is going to appear on another episode of How I Met Your Mother! Both the network execs and Britney were excited about the chance to work together again, which is no surprise since her first appearance was a big hit for her fans and was great for the show's ratings.

If Britney's upcoming performance on How I Met Your Mother seemed too good to be true, here is your first look at the pop star on the set. She's going to play a receptionist who catches Ted's eye during a visit to the doctor's office. (Fun fact: Sarah Chalke from Scrubs is also making a guest appearance in the episode.) Britney's big debut doesn't air until next week, but you all can get acquainted with the fabulous show tonight when How I Met Your Mother finally comes back from writers' strike hiatus!
