Vanessa, Brittany, and Hunter Have a Slammin' Good Time

Hunter Parrish joined Vanessa Hudgens and Brittany Snow last night for the LA premiere of Bandslam. Vanessa has been out and about promoting the film but avoiding any mention of her latest photo scandal. It didn't seem like there were any hard feelings between her and Hunter after his recent comments about having almost nabbed Zac Efron's role in High School Musical. He set the record straight at the TCAs, and the two kept the good times rolling at the afterparty too.

The stars of Showtime, the CW, and CBS came together at their TCA party in Pasadena last night. The Huntington Library was bursting with celebrities from all three networks who mixed and mingled at the gorgeous venue. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looked perfectly petite in her sexy dress as she told us about how well-behaved Bronx is these days. Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth both had shows to promote, though Peter was also happy to chat about feeling like Robert Pattinson at Twi-Con and heading back to work in Vancouver today!

Weeds hottie Hunter Parrish was happy to joke around about not having any sexy scenes this week though admitted that his comments about High School Musical were totally blown out of proportion: "You know what's funny? I talked about that three years ago when it was relevant and now that it's not relevant at all everyone's talking about it." AnnaLynne McCord is always a blast to chat with and she was so excited to dish on the new season and her desires for a Gossip Girl crossover. Peter Facinelli on Twi-Con: "It was phenomenal! It was probably the biggest event I've been to. 3000 fans from all over. I had a woman come in from Colombia. Another woman came in from Germany. It was pretty amazing. I don't know a lot of fans who would fly in from other countries for a weekend. At one point we were doing a Q & A and we were throwing paper airplanes into the audience that had the casts' signature on them. So I wanted to try and get one in the back [of the room], so I decided to run it to the back. It seemed like a good idea, but halfway through it got really scary. I don't know how I made it back. I thought to myself - now I know what Robert Pattinson feels like."
Ashlee on bringing Bronx to set: "He does [come to set a lot]. He's incredible. He's such a big boy. He's amazing! He's attempting to walk. I can hold him as he tries to walk - he's only eight months. He's learning fast. He's growing! He's such a big boy, it's good. He's nice and healthy and a happy baby, which you couldn't ask for more.
AnnaLynne on her dream Gossip Girl crossover: "I am still sticking to the Gossip Girl crossovers that need to happen. Naomi goes to New York. Beverly Hills girl falls in love with the bad boy - Chuck Bass and Naomi Clark. I very much adore Leighton Meester and that story line with Blair and Chuck but Naomi could come spice it up a little! Why not?
Kevin Williamson on keeping up with cast of Dawson's Creek: "Kerr Smith drove me here. I had lunch with James a couple of weeks ago and we vowed to stay in touch so we've been texting. The only one I haven't seen in a while is Michelle, who is in New York. I see Katie in LA."

Hunter Parrish Only Talks About Being Shirtless in GQ

Hunter Parrish went preppy for a photo shoot appearing in next month's GQ. It's a slightly different look than cover guy Channing Tatum's shirtless poses - not that we haven't been treated to that hotness on the show - and Hunter's interview also got a little sillier. He chatted about how he almost ended up as the leading man in High School Musical, older women, and his decision to show some skin on Weeds. He said:

On being shirtless so often on Weeds: "It’s not contractual, it’s just where my storyline is. I had to show my butt last season for the first time. And I had a hard time deciding whether to do it - we didn’t decide until the morning of the shoot. . . I called my parents and I was like, "Are you guys going to disown me if I do this?" I don’t make all my decisions by them but it was nice to hear that they were supportive and clued-in.
On repeatedly sleeping with older women on TV: "I don’t know. Maybe I’m a better actor when I know there’s going to be an older woman involved."
On almost getting Zac Efron's part in High School Musical: "That is definitely a rumor but it was really, really close. It was down to five guys and then I got offered a part in this amazing Robin Williams movie. And I thought to myself: fly to Vancouver and meet the director for this Robin Williams movie, or stay and finish the auditions for the Disney Chanel movie? So I didn’t even go to the last audition. I heard a rumor that I was their favorite, but I never made it to the end. I mean I would have had a blast doing it. But I’m so happy for Zac, he’s the only guy for that."

Weeds Just Got a Whole Lot More Smokin' Hot

Let's admit it. We lost some faith in one of our favorite shows last season and even Mary-Kate Olsen couldn't keep us that interested in Weeds. We didn't want to write off the show completely so we hung in there and then BAM! Shirtless Hunter Parrish is the new Summer eye candy we didn't even know was going to qualify as Manjoyment for a long time but he proved us wrong Monday night. Check out just a peek of one of his hot scenes (but oh it gets hotter and cuts off before the best line but you get the point). So are you watching Weeds yet? Time to start!

Gossip Kids Take VF With Hollywood's New Kids on the Block

The upcoming August issue of Vanity Fair is devoted to Hollywood's new class of rising stars. It's no surprise that the gorgeous cast of Gossip Girl is front and center, with Blake Lively landing on the cover. Our Upper East Siders also share the spotlight with a few of the new popular kids like Zoe Kravitz, Hunter Parrish, and the Superbad Boys. The article takes a trip down memory lane to VF's group from 2003, citing Shia as its biggest success and prompting us to guess which of these fresh faces will be the A-listers of tomorrow. While we've got a few of our own predictions, in the meantime we can enjoy a sneak peek into the likes and dislikes of the kids who are ruling the Hollywood scene - at least for now.

TV Teens Are Taken by Wintuk

The newest Cirque du Soleil show, Wintuk, premiered at MSG last night bringing out some of our most favorite new TV stars - Blake Lively and Ed Westwick (Serena and Chuck) from Gossip Girl. In case you missed all the in depth coverage of last night's episode (which was amazing, btw), check it out here. Also out to see the whimsical new show was Abigail Breslin, Leelee Sobieski's tights and cute Hunter Parish, who plays Silas on Weeds. There's no fun like watching a few good hours of crazy, crazy flexible people bouncing around in elaborate costumes, right?

More MK On Weeds! This Time With More "Acting"

Okay, so maybe (just maybe) Mary-Kate Olsen isn't a totally gifted road to the Oscars actress, but I still heart her in a major way and seeing this full scene of her on Weeds makes me happy. Plus, she looks pretty damn adorable with Hunter Parrish. Lucky for those of us (even if it's just me) the wait for MK's triumphant arrival in Agrestic is almost over - she's on the show starting next week! Olsen voice! You got it, dude!

MK, Mary-Louise & David Celebrate Weedsifornication

August 13th, when Weeds comes back and Californication premieres on Showtime, can't come soon enough -- and this screening of the shows just makes me more incredibly excited. Last night the stars came out in Hollywood and, well, I think it's pretty needless to say how amazing I think MK looks! She is so happy, tooth smile and all! On the show MK plays a good Christian girl and it looks like she's keeping up the image with that big cross. Unfortunately Ashley wasn't out with her twin to show off their similar but differently fabulous styles. MLP was radiant even if this isn't my favorite dress while David exuded his standard level of effortless cool. This isn't the first time the two newly back-to-back shows have done promotions together and I'm certainly hoping it's not the last. Long live Weedsifornication.

Zac and Matthew Turn 17 Again With the Help of Some Friends

Zac Efron continued his run as man of the hour at last night's LA premiere of 17 Again. This time he had some of his friends out to share his moment, including girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, the Jonas Brothers, costars Leslie Mann, Michelle Trachtenberg and more. Matthew Perry looked fairly youthful himself beside his younger self Efron - see the resemblance? It's been quite the Zac-attack around here these days, but it sounds like you are on board as his acting grows up and enjoyed his SNL gig as he navigates the best way to become a man in Hollywood.

Mary-Louise Parker's Daughter Has Good Taste in Boys Already

Mary-Louise Parker and LL Cool J took some time out earlier this week to visit The Today Show and read to children attending Jumpstart's Read for the Record event in New York City. The actress and her little friend waved for the cameras on a break from the book. MLP has two kids of her own, but apparently her on-screen son Hunter Parrish is basically family at this point too. She said of their relationship, "He's a part of my life. We text each other. He spent Thanksgiving at my house, he comes every year. My daughter goes to the set, and the first thing she says on set is 'Hunter.' She's looking for Hunter." Considering our feelings about Hunter we understand where Mary-Louise's daughter is coming from.
